I have a done OTA update to gingerbread on my Atrix. Before this I was able to get into Android recovery by pressing the touch screen at 'bottom right corner', where the HIDE button used to be.
Now after update to 4.5.91 , when i get in to Android recovery, i wont be able to find that HIDE button, which gets me to Android recovery menu.
I keep on pressing the bottom right corner, but nothing happens it stays in the same screen.
so to boot it back I have to remove the battery and put it back n then start.
Someone pls help
When your get to the triangle press the vol up and down at the same time.
Thanx for the info!
I did that it got into recovery menu, but I am not able to see the bottom blue bar which contains 'OK' and 'HIDE' button on the left and right respectively!
without the OK button showing up I cannot be able to do any operations not even boot back (without taking battery out)

You can use the arrows for navigation and the finger print power button for the ok/enter. I have not seen a hide option since froyo.

Hi guys
Sorry but anywhere in a tutorial video there was a prime with the Reboot-Button.
Can somebody tell me how we can implement this button on the Notification Menu or the Long - Press - OFF Button window .
I hope you know which window I mean

This 'long press menu' reboot option will exist in custom roms such as cm9.
It may be difficult for you to add this option yourself.

or just stick a paper clip in the little hole underneath micro SD card. put enough pressure till you hear or feel it click. or until you see device reboot. that might be the button you talking about. reboot/reset is that pinhole on volume rocker side underneath the memory card slot. use this if prime freezes or locks up or becomes unstable.
True dev thing to add the option in Power Off pop up.. Usually present in CynaogenMod.
For now you can just keep pressed the Power button for at least 5-7 sec, device will reboot.

I'd be really interested in this too... Right now I'm using the virtual buttons app.
My home button, menu button, back button and search button are all unresponsive. Probably about 90% of the time.

Yeah, I tried that app too with no luck. It sucks... I'm probably gonna have to take my phone in to get repaired.
I also tired Pimp My Rom , since it has enable navigation bar function, but no softkeyz after multiple reboots...
Hello. Recently my Galaxy s2 power button hasn't been working. As in when I either hold it down or press it, it doesn't lock the screne or pull the power menu. It works now and then but yeah I have to press it over and over again.I plan on getting it repaired soon but I'm looking for an workaround. I've seen apps that let me turn my phone off, lock it and such but nothing brings open the power menu button with screenshot, recovery mode, airplane mode and such. Is there anything like that out there? That with a press of the button it would open up my power menu options
try rom manager

Use "Button Savior" from Play Store.
It is just HW buttons on screen including power button. (Like Nexus On-Screen Keys)
And it has long press power menu also, which shows Screenshot, Airplane, Silent etc.
P.S.
[Free advice]
If you get that button repaired, use something like Proximity Sensor based app which locks and unlocks phone screen. So power button will be used less.
(I know this consumes a bit more battery, but still battery is lot cheap and easy to change than power button)

Press Thanks if helped.
