Hi. I have an international version of galaxy s3.
I was using an aosp kitkat based ROM but, like every aosp ROM, it has camera focus bug. So I installed echoe ROM 4.3 after cleaned sdcard, cache, dalvik, system, preload and data.
After installed the new ROM I tried the camera and the focus bug is still there.
So I tried to restore an old cwm backup of a 4.3 sammy ROM but, again, the bug is still there.
What's happening? How Can I fix this?
Edit:
I tried other camera app: google camera, snap camera and camera zoom FX and focus bug seems to appear only with Samsung stock camera app.
Maybe somes libs is missing? Who Can give me a flashable zip with Samsung camera libs?
Thanks in advance
Help.

Try these go to Recovery Mode -wipe data/cache and then flash Stock ROM (Flash latest firmware download it from sammobile ) via Odin for additional info of Odin and flashing go through these thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1840645
Hi guys.
First sorry for my english.
I need your help solving the problem.
I must say that my knowledge is very basic.
Yesterday I downloaded the latest nightly build from cm site (cm-10.2-20130827-nightly-i9100)
After the download complete i tried to boot into recovery to wipe data/factory reset and cache and start flashing the rom But with no Success.
The device won't boot into recovery.
I read somewhere a post saying you should choose app and adb option under developer options\root access but still no success after changing this option.
One more question please
I downloaded the supersu app from the play store and each time it remind me the need to update the su binary each time i choose continue it faild to update.
find the kernel fixed by codeworkx in the cm thread or flash dorimanx kernel with odin ( there is one in .tar in the download list).

Had the same problem yesterday: Auto-Update seems to be broken, if you apply an update downloaded OTA (even when coming from an older 10.2 Nightly), you can't get into recovery anymore:
Download the newest .tar (9.34) here:
http://dorimanx.shine.sk/
and flash it using ODIN
(insert .tar at PDA)

hi H3llwar.
1. Which update are you talking about? I did not do any update.
2. Is required to perform additional actions before flashing the kernel?
3. which odin ver should i use? 3.XX ? 1.85 ?
4. after flashing the kernel should i flash a custom rom again ?
thanks

1. There's an OTA update function which I used. Obviously, you didn't, it seems to be the nightly thats broken.
2. No, just flash it via ODIN
3. 3.XX worked just fine for me (changed to SlimBean yesterday as CM 10.2 seems too buggy for the moment)
4. You can flash just Dorimanx 9.34.tar, CM 10.2 & recovery should be acessible afterwards
Keep in mind that CM 10.2 and most other ROMs replace the kernel you currently have, if you want to flash another Custom ROM, flash 1. Rom.zip, 2. Gapps.zip & 3. Kernel.zip

It's great!!!
Stable, fast, good battery life with shipped kernel, and just 81MB. I don't miss any feature that CM or AOKP have and it doesn't get bricked when installing Head Soccer like XenonHD does :victory:
Give it a try!

hi mate.
i really want to try the slimbean rom but for doing that i need your help (you r my private teacher )
The latest slimbean version appears on the official site is JB 4.22 built 8.
What actions it takes when you downgrade from cm 4.3 to slimbean 4.2.2 etc ?

It isn't different from any other ROM change because SlimBean ships with its own kernel and dorimanx supports both 4.3 and 4.2 ROMs:
In Recovery Mode:
1. Wipe data
2. Wipe cache
3. Flash Rom.zip
(Optional: 4. Flash Dorimanx 9.39.zip)
Hey guys,

4.3.1
So since I couldn't get a Kit Kat Rom and GApps, I ended up putting on a Jelly Bean 4.3.1 ROM with GApps. It works all and well but now the soft touch buttons (menu, home, and back) do not work. How do I fix them
Try BeanStalk
I am currently using Meticulus's BeanStalk ROM which is based on Cyanogenmod.
It is quite quick, and it has a lot of features for customization.
Link:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2613300
Installation Instructions:
Coming from a Pre KitKat ROM
Do a back up!
Do factory reset/ wipe (incl. /system)
In recovery: flash ROM zip file. (You WILL get an assert error!)
Read the warning on the screen.
Flash the ROM again!
Flash Gapps
Reboot.
Please keep in mind that your device needs to be rooted with a custom recovery in order for this method to work.
I did everything you said, including flashing it again, it came up with the same error. Any advice?

Is this ROM for the US Version of the Samsung Galaxy Player 5.0 YP-G70? Because when I flashed it then tried to reflash it after the error, it came up with the same error.

I have been using blu_sp★rk onyx kernel for quite some time and wanted to go back to my stock kernel. So I used Flashify and restore my stock kernel.
The thing is once back to stock kernel, my WIFI doesn't turn on. Any idea how to get it working again? Do I need to re-flash my stock ROM then flash the stock kernel again?
Also, anyone have other suggestion for kernel with good battery performance?
I had the same problem a couple of times, you have to flash all the ota files via twrp or stock recovery
U use f2fs ??if yes tht make ur wifi dosnt turn on bcoz stock kernel dsnt support f2fs

Also, as of right now, blu spark is the only custom kernel available for the OPX. in addition, its only compatible stock rom at the moment.

Thanks for the response guys. Good thing I did backup all the stock rom and kernel via twrp. I'll give it a go during weekends. Still loving the blu spark kernel, re-flashing the ROM doesn't remove all my data right? Also, is that the [X]system for ROM? I know [X]boot is the kernel.. under restore/backup in twrp.
hey guys.
i just flashed blu sparks kernel over Nougat Rom 7.0 on my nexus 5.
i've already did a backup to my stock Rom 6.0.1 via TWRP.
i want to restore to stock,
i'm wondering if i can just restore the backup via TWRP or do i have to Fatsboot system.img?
since i'm familiar with flashing and Doing Commands
Hello guys!
I really need help.
A GT-I9305 makes strange problems. I can't flash any custom rom. It will never boot. Only with stock Samsung ROM's it works.
Tried to install many custom ROM's for the S3 and it ended with the same. Bootloop and my only help to get it work is with Samsung Kies...
Wiped Cache, factory reset etc... Nothing worked... It annoys me so please help!
Thanks

Sadly not.
I tried it with more kernels but nothing worked.
Does Knox has something to do with the bootloop's? (Stock Android 4.4.4 KitKat is working with stock kernel)
you have latest recovery ? older roms working for you ?
Every time the same result with twrp newest, twrp 2.8.7.0, cwm, philz.
Can't flash stock ROMs with Odin.
