I have some questions about the LG Optimus L9 II
is the battery removable?
is the 4GB storage enough? can i move apps to sd card?
does it support OTG?
is it likely to get Android L update or it's too old?
how is gaming performance? is it the same as other mid range devices like LG G2 mini, galaxy s4 mini or moto G?
is bootloader unlockable?
in general, how do you find your LG L9 II?

Yes, battery is removable.
Yes, 4gb is enough. You can't move apps to sd card after update to kitkat, but there is a fix for that. Look up in the forum.
Bootloader is not unlockable in kitkat (as i know and read on this forum), but you can downgrade it to JB (struggling with that at the moment...).
If I could change it to another phone, I would. But it is because of the messaging bug i have (and other people from Lithuania and Czech republic). Other than that - a great mid range smartphone.

l9 in display and screen
xperia has a 4.3 screen and there are on screen back,home and menu button
l9 has a better battery

The Lg g2 mini will get the lollipop update but you will probably wait a till next year for it to be released. But you can flash a cyanogenmod 12 rom so that you will get it earlier. The Gps is not really good on the lg g2 mini as I have experienced
It will most likely get 5.0.1. Which now has reported having a memory leak bug up to 1.3 GB. You can read it on other sites. Shame...
I was curious if there was a list of the newer AT&T devices that are able to be rooted? It seems like a lot of sites list a phone, but when you try to root, it will be incompatible (like my LG G5.)
Doesn't seem like there will ever be a root for my LG G5 H820, so i wanted to start my search for a new device with compatibility; Like the LG V20, Galaxy S8, OnePlus 3, Nexus 6P, etc....
My ideal phone would be AT&T service, replaceable battery, expandable storage, and root-able.....but I'm sure I'm asking for a lot!!

No, it's not. Take it from a guy who has worked with an L3 II, owned an L7 II and upgraded to Nexus 5X. Even an K10 2017 would be a better choice.
Either use the available CM11 for L3 II, or buy a new phone. Low-end/budget devices today have atleast 1-2GB of ram and a decent quad-core cpu. The L3 II isn't up to running current apps as they develop towards more powerful hardware. Besides, the whole Lx II series forum is kind of dead.
