No you cant flash a stock Sony FTF to the GPe it will brick it, but ther is an older port to the GPe in the GPe dev section but I believe that it is unstable

Thankyou! I'm sure you just saved my device.
Do you know of any good light weight small icon'd roms that can be ran on the ultra Gpe?

you can always run Carbon or Candy at sub 320 dpi, for that matter even the stock GPe software will probably run fine at 280 dpi

You ment SGPT112JP/S insted of SGPT211JP/S, right?
You used the AIO 3.1 to decrypt and installed after?
If so, does it work 100%
Thanks

Almost a month since you've posted in this thread and since it's already on top of the others, I might as well. [emoji14]
Nope. Sony ain't gonna give up from the looks of it.
Plz upload firmware again!
Sony Tablet P 211US/S ICS Update
Need an update for the Sony Tablet P 211US/S
Has anyone made a custom rom for this tablet?
It would be really cool if I could run Lollipop on it.
What would it take to create such a rom?
I mean if it was possible to create a rom for the HP Slate then I think this shouldn't be an issue.

[Q] [HELP] Flashed Z Ultra GPE to Stock. No Power

I flashed the C6806 Stock ROM, specifically C6806_14.3.A.0.681_1276-1569_R3C.ftf to my Z Ultra GPE running 4.4.4 using FlashTool in Mac. The flash did complete on it, but there is no activity on the phone (does not take charge and is possibly bricked). Is there a way to recover it to last working state?
Any input will be highly appreciated.

Bricked as far as I know
You may want to contact @the_laser as they seem to be the S1 boot guru, but don't hold you breath

SO, you have brought a GPe from the Google Play store. Here are a few things you need to know:

Thanks a lot for your input. Device still in warranty, so thinking of asking Sony for a replacement. Hopefully it works out.

GPE rom on standard TOGARI

Can i use togari gpe rom on togari STANDARD version, not gpe version ?
Both rom are usefull for both TOGARI ?
What? You're asking if you can use GPE ROMs on the Xperia version (i.e the "standard" model)? Or if you can flash the GPe port on the Xperia version? The answer for the first question is no. The answer for the second question is yes
There's is a 4.4.4 gpe rom ported for the xperia ultra, use that one.
How do you get the GPE rom on a regular (non GPE) ultra?
Hi, I was about to ask the very same thing!
I have a stock Sony Rom 4.4.4 on my ultra and I'm a complete android Newbie, just moved off iOS (and haven't looked back . Some basics here:
- Do I need to 'Root' my device to get the GPE rom on?
- How do I get it on at all?
- Where do you get a "bonafide" copy of the rom?
- Do you lose warranty if you do this?
- Do you receive OTA upgrades once you've installed the rom?
- Does Google support people doing this?
Sorry for being at such a basic knowledge level, I am a certified developer on other platforms however and intend to learn quick
Thanks in advance

Scrubber's 4.4.4 GPe port can be used with locked bootloader.

On my 3rd Z Ultra :D

Hi guys
my first love for C6802 until it start to show age then decided to repurchase Z ultra C6806. Now that I've shattered the digitizer, I repurchased another C6806.
I just love this phone size.
Moving forward, this one was bought pre-owned and came pre-installed with 5.1.1 unrooted.
How do i get 5.1.1. rooted the easiest way possible?
Depends if the bootloader is unlocked, and if you want to back up the TA partition.
bootloader:locked and I want it remain locked. 1st ultra i unlocked, i didnt backup TA partition and therefore my camera went ****ty and I lost bravia features

Alrighty. Btw, X-Reality works without the DRM keys. This was changed by Sony on KitKat, but yeah, the camera is a different story. There are a couple of guides in this section (general section), so you should probably go ahead and read them :good:

where ?! . i relock my bootloader because the problems on camera .. pictures are noisy .. is there any solution?!
.. hey guy you must flash 4.4.4 with flashtool then root it and install dualrecovery .. download 5.1.1 ftf and create pre rooted flashable zip rom with prf creator ..

A solution for the bad camera? Doesn't exist. Unlocking the bootloader will remove some DRM-keys (in the TA partition) that have some saying in the camera quality, but you won't notice much difference, so the real solution is to buy a different device with a better camera

Any custom ROM for H860?

I asked this before but no one answered so I thought maybe I'm in the wrong forum. Is there ANY custom ROM for LG G5 H860? The stock ROM is pretty horrible and is using 70% of the RAM by itself. Lots of bloatware and not really fun to use. Can I use any of the ROMs here for my device?
Thanks in advance.

No! Coz its bootloader is not unlockable. better switch to H860/H850/RS988 if you want custom rom support.

You mean change my phone, like physically? Or is there a way to somehow install a new firmware and then change the OS?
