Hello all!
This morning my phone decided to reboot over and over again. I got into twp and made a back up of my current ROM. After making the backups I tried to restart and twrp informed me my device was not rooted and asked if I wanted to install SU. I choose no, then rebooted. I tried to restore an older version of my rom twrp gave me a "failed" message. So I tried to reboot and again I got the message from twrp saying I was not reooted and ask to install SU.. so I did.
Since then I can not get back into twrp, I get the twrp splash screen and then the phone bootloops. I tried reflashing twrp 2.6.3.0, 2.6.1.0 and even 2.6.0.0 multiple times with all the same results of twrp splash screen, then phone reboots... Any ideas?
I'm s-off (VIA dirtyraccoon from about 16 months ago)
Hboot: 1.19.0000
EDIT: I used windroid HTC Evo LTE tool kit and s-off'd with faceplam... dunno why but it seems to have fixed it.
Hello everyone,i've come to ask you guys for help because i'm getting desperate here.
In an attempt to update my rooted b121 honor7 i have tried to flash the stock b121 and from there everything went downhill.
First i could not properly flash the images, but in the end i managed to flash system, boot and recovery from the fastboot and b121 was back online and unrooted.
The problem was that the phone would not update to more than b180 so i tried to flash the b100 and of course it did not work.
So,i restore to an early nanadroid backup i made last year and everything worked fine.
The next morning i flashed a freshly downloaded b121 and everything started going bad.
The phone got stuck in a bootloop and when i tried to fix it by deleting everything and reinstailling it again (i tried to restore it with nanadroid backup and with image flashing) the phone changed name.
From PLK-LO1 its became GEM-703L,and no matter what i do or how many times i try to restore it,nothing is changing, even if the process goes perfectly.
I am at the end of my rope, and i hope you guys can give me a hand here.
Thank you.
P.S. Forgot to add,the phone is stuck in an endless bootloop, and it keep resetting, the only way to keep it shut is to turn it off from TWRP recovery.
Stock Bootloader works, but stick recovery doesn't even load,it just continues to bootloop.
If i flash TWRP everything starts up properly tough.
You got the wrong stock recovery. Been there.

Hello All,
I've had my Mate 2 for several months and was running CM13. Due to some issues I decided to go back to stock and give 5.1.1 a try, but I'm experiencing bootloop issues.
I started this boondoogle by flashing a stock recovery and downloading and attempting to flash B322. Apparently I had the wrong recovery and now I am unable to flash a different recovery since I can't get out of recovery and into download mode.
The current recovery is listed as "Android System Recovery <3e>"
I've tried flashing the following update.app files
126, 132, 146, 309, 320, 321, 322
All update.app files error when trying to install from external SD card. When I try to install via adb sideload some of the updates get as far as updating cache and then start to error. I can't seem to get the phone into download mode and if I try to do a power button and down vol button I get a black screen and a 1 hz blinking blue notification light.
I suspect I somehow corrupted the file system or CM13 reconfigured everything so reverting is failing.
I can't seem to find a flashing tool like I've used with my nexus/samsung or motorola devices.
While not a novice, I've been rooting and flashing since I bought my first android Moto Droid X, I'm not proficient in adb and have not compiled a rom.
Anyone with suggestions would be greatly appreciated! I really like this phone and don't want to have to replace it after only 3 month.
Thanks!

Mate 2 Recovery Boot loop (SOLVED)
So I was able to restore my Mate 2 today.
After recovery boot looping all night the battery finally died. When I tried to turn it back on, I was able to boot into the bootloader. I then followed the directions in this Post:

Thanks to Superbass311 and thenameisnigel for their posts.

So I tried TWRP and have had extremely bad luck. I thought I bricked the phone at first, then it was stuck in a boot loop, THEN TWRP could not read from the internal memory, and to top it off, when I finally got the phone to boot up, I went ahead and bought a sim card and got it hooked up to ATT, and when I inserted the sim card, it automatically rebooted the phone into TWRP and reset everything (deleting all my apps and stuff) and got stuck in a boot loop.
I had an old phone and used clockwork mod recovery without any issue. Does anyone know where to find a CWM recovery image for the z5 compact?
Actually, if anyone has even the STOCK recovery I would be forever grateful. I would rather stock than TWRP at this point. I don't want to risk my phone being reset and having everything deleted again.
Same issue, unable to boot rom, TWRP has no access..

I am experiencing the same issue. I would like any working recovery/rom at this point. My Wife has the identical phone. Can I make a copy of hers to help the OP and my phone out?
I followed the following;
http://forum.xda-developers.com/z5-compact/development/rom-cyanogenmod-13-sony-xperia-z5c-t3339930
and have tried a few times now. As well as other versions of TWRP..
On a side note I wouldn't mind testing new roms/features being implemented by developers. Please let me know where the best place to get involved would be.
Thanks in advance,
David.
found a boot.img and TWRP that worked for me..
So after a lot of flashing I found one that works.

at least I can get twrp working for now..
I still can not get CM installed. Each time I get 'Error executing updater binary in zip'. I will have to do some more reading tomorrow.
Hello,
I've encrypted my SM-G850F a few months ago. As I got tired of waiting for Samsung to release the marshmallow update, I rooted today with autoroot-chainfire method. I flashed an image of twrp recovery 3.0 with flashify and when I tried to backup, a lot of errors showed up. I remembered it's because the device is encrypted.
So I tried to decrypt it in the security menu. At the moment it has stock rom and twrp recovery.
It's been decrypting for over an hour and a half with the green droid logo. I think it's stuck in this process.
I tried to search for a solution but without any luck. Can any of you guys help me?
