Hello all!
I've rooted/installed numerious ROMS into numerous samsungs, htcs etc.
Now I decided to install some sweet custom rom action onto my Xperia z2 and something went horribly wrong.. My phone is stuck in sony logo (Boot-> 1x vibration Shutdown power+volup 3x vibration) did I just **** my phone completely up?
I rooted by using this without any problems http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2783750
Then I installed recovery http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2261606
I had my z2 in the recovery menu, and decided to reboot it after wiping all data, after that it has been a complete brick.
I'm really REALLY sorry if there's a tread about this problem, I did my best with google and had no luck.
Thanks!
-Henry

Hello everyone,
- This is my first post here seeking for help
- I'm new to the ROM and Rooting stuff
- I was hoping that after installing a developer rom will fix the wifi issue that I had after upgrading from 3.1 to 3.2 !
- Here is what I did :
1- I've rooted my wifi GTab 10.1 - android 3.2 successfully using Odin.
2- I installed the : [Task650's KMM(ANDROID 3.2!!!)]
3- When I rebooted the device it is stuck on samsung logo with the glowing thing around it.
4- I tried to do a wipe data/ factory reset. "it does the thing but it says before :can't access to '/system/csc/XAB/system/'."
and now it's still stuck on samsung logo for more than an hour !
DID I KILL MY SWEET TABLET ?
plz Help me!
thank you
here is an image of what shows up on the screen when i try to install from a zip file in the sd folder
it looks like that i removed everything somehow :S
you need ClockworkMod recovery to install Task650 Rom
A smart friend of mine fixed it =D

So please share the solution with us. I am in the same situation and i don't know what to do.
he simply installed CWM Recovery which is needed for custom roms. As you can see from the screenshot he posted, he was using stock recovery.

I've found my solution that was to use Overcome's recovery...i just think that an answer like "a smart friend of mine fixed it" wont help anyone that enters here in the future.

if you are rooting your tab to flash custom roms you NEED to flash a custom recover.tar
If you are new to this and need step by step instructions SockMonkey has created a thread with alot of useful step by step tutorials. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1474971 please thank him for his hard work!
Hi all,
Some days ago I was playing with my atrix, and the result eventually was that I don't have internet connectivity via 4g anymore...
It must have been one of two:
* Start ubuntu.sh AS ROOT!!!
* Start apt-get AS ROOT!!!
The options I gave to apt-get I cannot remember, but I cannot imagine I would break much with that actually... It's clear they ****ed around with it so better to keep hands off...
Anyways, I want to reinstall the complete phone, but I don't want to get a custom rom. Trying to reset to factory defaults resets but then gives an error for booting recovery, which I modified for rom manager once...
So does anyone have an idea how I can get back to the default rom?
Thanks.
Regards,
Geert

Hi Ciloteille,
Thanks for your reply, but could you send me some links or something?
I'm quite a newbie so "RSS flash to stock Tom, unlocked bootloader." unfortunately doesn't say me much, and a quick google didn explain much also..

I believe that was classic auto correct. Its probably supposed to be "RSD flash to stock ROM, unlocked bootloader". But as post above says, read the noob guide for more info.
Hey all!
I would have posted this in the developement section, but I cant since I am a new registration! So please help me!
I just tried to flash my wt19i with the ice mod lite rom. I have a locked bootloader, so no custom kernel. I went through the AROMA installer, and since this is my first time, I was unsure of the entire thing. I think at one point, where I had to specify the device, I didnt. I just clicked next and proceeded to choose the bootloader status. Now, I followed all the previous steps of making a nandroid backup, wiping the dalvic cache and all. Now the phone doesnt boot. I think it might me stuck in a bootloop, as it is stuck at the sony logo. I cant enter CWM recovery. Flashtool doesn't recognise my phone either. How do I proceed?
Hey!
I dont mean to sound rude - but to all those of the 54 who saw this and didnt help - thanks a ton. To those of the 54 who looked here hoping to find a solution or see if there's a fix in case you face this sometime down the line, I fixed the phone with a SUS re-install of the original firmware. Simple and effective.
Looking forward to an enlightning experience on XDA!

Nice to hear you managed to restart your device
Just read to late you just managed to reinstall the phone...

Hello guys,
I've installed "NoFrills" CPU Control on my LG E720 on 3/4/13, and it worked quite well on that day.
But when I tried to turn on the phone on 4/4 , it just stuck in the "android icon screen" ( it must be boot-looping  )
What's happening? Can I slove the problem without losing all the user data ?
Thanks for your help!
(*I've moved the app to SD by using "Droidsail Super App2SD")
( sorry for my bad English )

If you hadnt backed up before. then my answer will be No. And depending on your device if the device has a dedicated Forum on XDA you will get more help there in terms of flashing Stock roms as All Manufacturers have different methods to do so. if there isnt i am sorry to tell you should go to service centre.
Please help! I was trying to flash a custom rom on my XZU but it suddenly went into a reboot loop with the sony logo reappearing every time. I also wiped the dalvik cache/cahe parition and did a factory reset before this so I need help!

When you see the Sony logo push power+ volume down until you feel 3 vibrations. Then try to start the phone and enter recovery. If it keep boot loop and you can't enter recovery, re-do the process but this time you need to flash a .ftf that you can find on the forum with Flashtool.

I figured it out guys thanks! Used Flashtool and found a stock FRENCH (Not American, oh well!) C6833 .ftf file and successfully flashed my XZU back to .532. Now I have limitless tries on what roms and kernels I can use cause even if I brick I can fix it no problem, very fast and easy. Thanks guys!! I really appreciate it!!!!!
