[Q] Buying used Z2

Hi all, I'm looking to purchase a used Sony Xperia Z2. I will be doing this off Gumtree, which is an Australian classifields website where people can sell and buy items, where they usually meet up to exchange these items. I was just wondering if there is anything I should look out for when I go to meet the person, such as IMEI check, specific ports i should check etc.
The link to the item - http://www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/narre-warren/mobile-phones/sony-xperia-z2/1058044455
He/she said they had purchased it from Telstra (a telecommunications company in Australia) outright, and that there is nothing wrong with the device, but they do not have a receipt to prove the purchase.
Any help would be greatly appreciated! thanks

Personally I would never buy a phone without receipt, could be stolen and I think you would need the receipt in order to get any warranty services

tmobile devices from craigslist are tricky. I wouldnt do it. You can finance tmobile devices now so they could still be paying for it, sell it to you, pocket the money and then stop paying for it. The device would then stop working.
I'd be very cautious. There would be no way of knowing whether the watch has suffered any type of serious water damage. Also, some people will buy a T-Mobile device on a payment plan and may try to sell the device before the device has been fully paid off.

Does anyone have a spare sim tray?

Hi everyone,
Today I received my Le Max 2 from an Aliexpress seller, the problem is it didn't come with a sym tray.
I'll buy one from china, but it will take too much time to arrive and I won't be able to test the phone before the purchase protection ends.
So I was wondering if any of you fellow guys have a spare sim tray?
Maybe your phone is broken and you don't use it anymore and you can send me your sim tray? It would be a huge favor. I'll be happy to ship you the new one when I will receive it. I hope so much that someone in the community has a spare one :good:
First, if your phone came incomplete (even if it's something as simple as the sim tray) you shouldn't accept it as good. How can you be sure the seller tested your phone before sending it, if it came without a sim tray? I think you should use Aliexpress' protection this time.

Yes I'm contacting the seller, but I know I won't receive a full refund without shipping back the phone, which costs at least 30€.
So I wanted to see if someone of the XDA community can help me solving the issue faster and cheaper.
I will obviously pay for the shipping of the tray, and I will send a new one to the person who helped me as soon as I receive the one I bought from China.
