[Q] AT&T HOX+ Primary mic issue. - HTC One X+

Hi,
Accidentally I damaged my primary mic while opening the case. I cnt use the mic for any call unless I put the phone into speaker mode. Which means the top noise cancellation mic works fine which gets used in the speaker mode.
Now bigger problem is, I ordered this device online and its an AT&T Evitare model. The service guys here in India said the international version mic will not set in this model.
Can someone provide me a link from where I can order the mic strip for AT&T one X+ model??
Regards,
Bubun

[Q] Phone communication sound is muffled

Both the send and receive audio is muffled when I use the Optimus One (LG-P500H) as a phone. It seems to have no high frequencies to the audio. The person on the other end of the call sounds muffled to me, and I sound muffled to them.
Bought it used (previous owner had it about 2 months); I unlocked it before using it. It was on Koodo and now I use it on my pay as you go Petro-Canada account.
It has stock ROM, running Android 2.2.1 (LG is no help.)
Otherwise the phone is wonderful.
Help!

Sounds that you might have damaged some sensitive hardware components.
If you can't fix it yourself, try to find an "expert" ... maybe a service center with a good technician?!
Good luck !

Back cover swap possible?

Ok 2 part post.
I'm with metropcs...and in my area they use Tmobiles towers. I can use ANY of the LG G2 since Verizons come unlocked now. Playing with both models in the store today the Verizon model seemed like it was louder when playing on youtube. It only has 1 speaker hole on the bottom versus 2 in the GSM model.
Im leaning towards the Verizon model but want yalls opinion.
I hate the rear button redesign on the verizon model. Is it possible to swap out the backs and put a Tmobile/ATT back cover on a Verizon model? I've taken phones apart and repaired them many times. So thats not the problem. But I know Verizons model came with wireless charging and the others didnt. Is this the reason for the button change? Anyone out there with both willing to take the backs off for a comparison?
There is a thread on here that show them both with back cover off. As well as a few YouTube videos

I posted pics in an earlier clone of this topic. It would be much easier to mod the speaker and/or grill.

There is only one speaker in both models. The GSM version is not stereo.
in all honestly it seemed like the verizon model with the 1 speaker hole was louder than the GSM phone with the 2 speaker holes....maybe with the second hole for the sound to come out of it mellows out the volume.
I found the other post with the comparison. looks like swapping back plates would kill the wireless charging function verizon has...which is my main reason for getting the verizon model.

LG G2 D802 European version - voice call quality

Hello friends.
I have a 32GB operator free LG G2 bought online at Expansys.pt
I'm happy with everything except the voice call quality.
Over +/-60% the sound becomes muffled/a little distorted.
I've read allot about this and it's more common than I expected.
Some say it's a hardware problem some say it can be fixed by software configuration.
Here in Portugal, the LG Support says it's a hardware problem and are replacing some units bought physically in Portugal.
Has I bought my online, the Portuguese LG Support will not exchange mine!
I've seen that for the american operators like AT&T and Verizon there are some thread's saying it can be fixed by software configuration (ex: http://forums.androidcentral.com/lg-g2/314167-poor-call-quality-verizon-g2-4.html#post3280213 )
Is there any solution for the D802 European free version??
Is it normal that this kind of problem occours in such a large scale ??
This is the only thing I dislike in this wonderful phone
Thanks.

My D802 represents excellent call audio, sorry to hear this man!
My problem is instead the bluetooth audio when listening to music. It has a crackling/distorted sound when I'm playing music. Especially when the chorus of songs kick in. However installing CM11 solves the audio problem for me so I know its software releated.
My point is - you could try CM11 and see if the calls are any better, or flash any other stock rom with a newer build number than ur current
Have a nice evening!
Found this interesting fact in another forum:
This is actually my second G2, and has the exact same problem with distortion that the first one did. After doing some research, i also found out that the note 3 is also experiencing similar issues on both verizon as well as sprint. Which makes me wonder if its a cdma/snapdragon 800 issue. But from what i've also read and have been told, samsung actually released a software patch to address those issues with the note 3. I hope that LG will do the same. I love the phone! Fast and awesome! If LG can fix the actual phone part of this, it will be perfect.

please help me em facing call issue no sound being heard from my side to other callers i can hear them but they cant please
Having experienced something similar, I tried using 2G for calling. Big surprise, call quality was flawless. I don't think there's anything wrong with the phone, I'm blaming my operators crappy 3G call quality instead. Pretty sure it suffered on the account of 4G spreading.

calling mic problem
