I don't know if these issues I've been having relate to the latest update, but I've noticed 1) a slightly decreased battery life 2) automatic brightness being too bright compared to before the update and 3) I've just gotten 2 random reboots tonight. Also the occasional SystemUI crashes I've mentioned before.
I don't know if any of these are caused by any apps or modifications I have, or the update itself, but I was just wondering if anyone else possibly had any of these issues.

I haven't experienced any of these. Bad download maybe?
You should start all over. Grab the backup made by @xordos of b126, restore via TWRP. flash stock recovery thereafter. Let it update via ota.

I did a factory reset before updating, which is why it really puzzles me. There should've been nothing "left over" to cause these issues.

Maybe you had bad software from the beginning. I know you have been mentioning ui crashes since I've been on the mate 2 threads.
Use a base that has reported no errors. Do you have a clean backup of your b126 or b148? Maybe we can test this theory of mine. I could restore yours and see if I get the same ui crashes.

Yeah that could be a possibility. That would suck though!
And no, you don't have to test mine. Tomorrow, I'll try to reset again, use another backup, go from there and see what happens.

^This is an excellent idea that would rule out hardware issues if there are also crashes. If Kid_Ding gets no crashes using your software, then that would suggest hardware issues (bad ram or sdcard?) on your device.

I have only had ui crashes and random reboots after modding. My issue is modding too much at one time. I now load a couple of things at a time then check stability. I also think some one else complained of battery issue after upgrade but I think they narrowed it downto some added program. Sorry don't rember what thread.

Didn't see anywhere in the thread if the bluetooth was or wasn't working. Just though I'd let you guys know that bluetooth crashes my Tbolt. I've tried it a few times, just turning it on crashes and when I try to view the bluetooth menu. And now I'm stuck in a bootloop. This is my first post and due to the sight rules I can't post on the actual thread, perhaps a mod can move this to it. Otherwise this has been great!
Try flashing the imoseyon kernal. This should fix your Bluetooth issues.

You're talking about this one, correct?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1086518
I see that it is a GB kernel and this is an ICS rom. I don't know if that makes a difference. Still pretty new at this, that's why I'm asking.
My apologies. No you cannot use this with ICS. Its early in the morning and thought I read the title to be about Jesters other ROM Jellyblur (GB ROM themed to look like ICS). There are no custom kernals yet for the Thunderbolts ICS until HTC drops the source. I will try to re-create this issue and I will get back with you unless someone gives a solution before me lol. Once again my apologies.
If you are in a bootloop you may have to re-wipe and re-install the ROM. It may have been a bad flash if BT was not working and caused a bootloop.
EDIT: although irrelevent for this ROM, the link you provided is an outdated custom kernal. The Dev has since then updated to 6.2.1

As far as I've tried, no. But like baronmxc said, it could be a bad flash. I'm gonna try when I get back from class in a couple hours.

Hi,
Well you are in luck I had the exact same problem today and finally found the fix. I was using the . 9 radio was working fine so thought its ok but since bluetooth was my only issue I flashed ( in hboot) the . 19 radio and now no bluetooth problem. Not only turn it on and off able to use it!
Phone has not rebooted once since I did this.
Hope this helps you out,
Bryan
Swannyman, I suggest you to try out what trapperjohn found before you wipe. I have also heard reports of the latest radio fixing these issues also.

I love it when a plan comes together.
I also notice alot more 4g speed.
That bootloop sucks.
I wonder if this radio came out when the leak was initially released.
Would explain why on gingerbread we didn't see a big change but obviously the minor change in it was for ics.
Thanks,

Since the problem got solved...figured I'd jump in with a couple issues that I'm having with this rom.
1* I go into settings and to my apps. When I click an app and it brings up the space used and other info...everything says computing and doesn't show a value. I'm trying to move my apps to the SD and it does nothing since they wont compute. Anybody with this issue...a fix?
2* When I get a SMS, the LED keeps blinking after the message is closed or replied to. It stops after a few minutes, but its annoying. I have GoSMS.

1. Wait and let it total all the apps before entering to move them. It may take a minute if you have a lot of apps.
2. That's a bug with gosms. I never could figure out a fix other than disabling the led notification.

I finally got them moved, but it would take 1-4 minutes a piece to move. And when I try to uninstall an app, it just says uninstalling and hangs on that screen.

Have you rebooted since installing the rom?
Usually a reboot and waiting 5 after boot corrects this problem.

When you say stock, do you mean stock on the original firmware, or have you updated to the new ME7 firmware? The new update is reported to speed things up and smooth things out for most. Though I'm rooted, I'm running the ME7 stock ROM. I find it to be a nice performance improvement.
So if you're not ever going to root, and you haven't already updated, you should.

do nightlies seem to get issues resolved on a quicker basis? not that I have had any yet with the 4.3's I have run so far. actually pretty impressed so far.
Depending on your style of life (and view of marriage) it's more like being married but waking up with a different sister every morning. Problems may be resolved faster on nightlys (or not truthfully) but new ones are likely to arrive just as quickly. Plus we
are warned not to send in bug reports because being nightlys they are supposed to have bugs. I never completely understood that because we seem to be an ideal audience from which to get feedback. But those seem
to be the rules.

really, waking up with a different sister? are you from the south?
you would think nightlies should be more stable. sounds like its a yes but no? which makes it a personal preference and what are you willing to tolerate or sacrifice? pretty much like everything else.
it makes things more sporting anyway. after a month on the most solid ROM my phone has ever been on, I was getting bored.
I just keep following the forums, trying different nightlys, and wait for that gem that comes along and everything works like a dream. Those gems are few and far between sometimes, but usually worth the wait. And so far, 10.2 is off to a good start!

Did you try flashing a different kernel or dirty flashing the rom.
Your sig says your probably on hyperdrive. This is odd behavior for a touch wiz rom. I have seen this on AOSP.
I would almost bet something has gotten stomped on.
Does this happen regardless of toggling airplane mode, or rebooting, or changing mobile network settings?

I am on Hyperdrive - says that a few posts up, too.
I'm on stock optimized kernel on HD - and have ran that kernel since it's been available. I'm not one for switching around kernels - too buggy for me
What I've done is set Tasker to always keep mobile data on when at cell near work. This works and doesn't appear to have much of a detrimental effect on my battery life.

Stock Optimized does run nice on HD.
Honestly I'd dirty flash the rom.
If it didn't clear up, I'd nandroid, back up apps and reflash.
Like you the best I can tell this is not normal behavior on HD so I'd say it has to do with your setup, how it flashed, what you installed, the tweaks that were done, etc...
But you also have a work around in place. I know sometimes for myself I cease to care about what the problem is or what has caused it if I have a viable work around.
I'd say your call all the way on this one.
Or heck if your a flashaholic like me, nandroid and flash something else to see if it happens there too. Eclipse TW 2.0 and Dirty Unicorns are my favorites right now, both running really solid, with exceptional battery life. DU if you like ultra customization like hyperdrive and like aosp as well. I like me some Hyperdrive as well, but those are the 2 that have my attention @ the moment.
Sorry not more help, but that is just one of those weird bugs you could chase forever.

From the feedback I have gotten and personal experience, sound wise if you got to 136 you will lose the Sound Enhancements options from working on other apps but Walkman and also even with Walkman, it won't apply to flac files any more.
I went back to .290 (accidentally but happy that it happened) and got back full use of the Sound Enhancements feature.

Well, this is still not right even with 6802. I used it for hours, after restoring all the apps I needed. At one point during restoring, I lost the feature again but I uninstalled the last apps I restored and it came back.
Then I finished restoring all apps I wanted again (never figured out how I lost it) and used the phone, restarting several times to test it and all good.
But when I finally decided to log in to google and it started restoring the "google" back stuff on its own, I lost it and couldnt make it come back.
I did a back up right after my apps where restored and it was working so I am going to go back to that back up then log in to Google again and this time NOT let it restore previous data etc.
I doubt this has anything to do with it but the fact is, it was working for hours with several reboots included until I restored google for some odd reason.
The mystery continues.....
