Int2ext help

Hello guyz, i'm trying to install int2ext script on my phone, but without success. I've got a Samsung S4 Clone with J.B 3.1, stock rom and stock recovery. I managed to create an ext2 partition through windows and enable init.d scripts with an googlestore app. Using a script named 05mountsd, the system manages to mount the ext2 partition and i'm able to browse it with root explorer. But when i copy any of the int2ext/int2ext+ scripts in the init.d folder (remember, i dont have cwm recovery to install from zip) the phone boots normaly and 5secs after i see my background, the phone goes back in loading android screen.
I have to delete the 40int2ext script from init.d through adb shell, for the phone to boot up normally again. Then inside the ext2 partition i am able to see that the script has managed to create some files and folders! But i cant install apps in there. Also link2sd app gives a message that the partition cannot be mounted and that i should try fat.
Any ideas how to get int2ext or any other storage script to work?
Bump!!!
I managed to install a cwm recovery that supports my phone's UBIFS format.
Still can't get any script that links apps to sd to work.
When i try to install CronMod_int2ext.zip through recovery i get an error. Also i cant mount or format the sd-ext partition in the recovery, though i tried partitioning the sd inside the recovery as well as from windows. Both attempts fail to mount in recovery.
With Mounts2sd app, i get bootloop problem.
Anyone!?

Error mounting /system in CWM 5

Hi!
I tried to install Android on Samsung Wave GT-S8500. I flashed FOTA and bootloader and got into recovery but since it can't mount /system (same goes for /data and /cache) I can't install any ROM or make any backup.
Is there any way to get those partitions to mount as they should?
wrong kernel. Search Kernel NAND and copy it on SD. You have Kernel SD and u need ro format SD for install any rom

[Q] Help, my GT-S5830i is bricked

My GT-S5830i is bricked, but the recovery mode is still working. I have the problem since I would flash CWM6, but that version is for GT-S5830 and I have a GT-S5830i (but the site where I downloaded that says that it's for GT-S5830 and GT-S5830i) In the recovery mode there's an error that /system can't mount. How can I fix that?

I think we should try to install original firmware for S5830i, with Odin.
You can read here and here.
Try first to understand what you want to do.
If you're not sure that you understand, looking to read more.
Be very careful and you'll succeed.

Normally when somebody soft-bricked his/her device , i would go with the solution @ post#4 , instruction part . But you have access to recovery and assuming you were on stock Rom /Stock kernel, before bricking it mate . For you device I would strongly suggest temporary CWM 5.0.2.6/5.0.2.8 zip flash-able file from here for instance ( for CWM6+ , you can read my explanation, why i did not recommended it for now ; post#6 ). Put this zip file inside root of your SD card / pick one custom Rom based on stock kernel , which is already rooted ( i,e: GB 2.3.6 & Stock Kernel] Ace-i-Sure v.12.0.0 ) > inside root of SD card as well.
Now follow this procedure :
- Turn off your phone
- Go to recovery mode (Stock Recovery 3e) <<Home screen button + Power button + Volume up key>>
- Select install update from SD and select the CWM temp zip file , flash it and get into CWM
- wipe data / reset; Wipe cache partition ; Advanced > Wipe Dalvik cache
-Mounts and storage > Format the following partitions : /data ; /system/ ; /cache ; /sd-ext if available .
-Mount and storage > mount everything you see (when something is mounted then it will show "unmount". If it shows "mount" then it is not mounted)
-Flash the ROM. (Install zip from sd card) follow the process inside the OP of ROM :
Select wipe data / reset and Confirm the action
Select wipe cache partition and Confirm the action
Select install zip from sd and select the rom zip file & Confirm the action
-Reboot

I have not ever used the phone on Linux.
There are several alternatives for Linux, but I think a little more difficult.
So.
If you want to use Odin, now or in the future, you should get a PC or a Laptop with Windows.
You will also need to install on Windows the drivers for Samsung.

I know that there is a tool called Heimdall and it's available for Linux, OS X and Windows and it does the same as Odin. Could I use that tool or is @ehsanotaku solution better/safer?

@ehsanotaku gave you all the explanations you need.
"Would i go with the solution @ post # 4" here also he refer to Odin.
But also refers to a custom ROM which I installed myself on a S5830i and witch it is ok.
For Odin you need a firmware for S5830i.
You can download it from http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/database/GT-S5830i/BTU/
This address is found also in the explanations of @ehsanotaku.
I know about Heimdall, but I have not used, as long as Odin works very well.
So.
Read carefully all posts of @ehsanotaku.

Error mounting /system!
Skipping format...

The error log:
Code:

Can I download the PDA.tar from here and flash it on my phone using:
Code:
heimdall flash --kernel PDA.tar
and then install Ace-i-Sure?
What should I do now @beegeero or @ehsanotaku?
PLEASE HELP ME!!!
@wb9688, OK , I start with what methods do not work on your Lubuntu 14.10 , which is in reality a light weight flavor of Ubuntu , based on Lightweight X11 Desktop Environment of course . You are either on a very old PC or suffering from a low spec such as Ram etc etc , So I am assuming chance of making a dual boot system with minimum 1 GB ram and probably very low storage hard is out of the picture , correct me if i am wrong . 1-Virtualization with the help of Virtualbox/parallel/Vmware and creating of virtual guest machine for windows 7/xp/8 inside of your Ubuntu based OS won't work , because in virtual environment Phone work only in USB Mass Storage mode but not in download mode. 2-Heimdall cross - platform do not work on Ace devices , this solution is only applied to Galaxy S and tab variant such as :
GT-I9000
GT-I9100[T]
GT-I9300
GT-I9505
SGH-I727
SGH-I777
SGH-I927
SGH-I797
please do not flash kernel and that pda.tar .
3.Making a boot- able windows 7 USB might let you to install Odin, never tested it ( For requirement and tools , Google it )
4.Wine does not convert Odin executable successfully as far as i know .
let's back to the instruction at hand mate , which obviously failed to format your /system partition manually , due to incorrect recovery image you did use possibly or other thing you have done and did not provide sufficient output for troubleshooting .
Another alternative that does not require flashing Odin over windows is ,the EXT4 Formatter tool ( formats important partitions into RFS <stock fw> or ext4 and vice verse to get out of this part) .
After wiping data /cache/Dalvik , rather than formatting /system manually; flash this tool < post#8> put it inside the root of SD card .
If your partitions being transformed into RFS , without st19 Invalid argument and such , proceed with the rest of the instruction .
IF your partitions being transformed into ext4 , you need to follow post#4 , starts from line '- Flash kernel_CM7_v4.0_cooperVe ....' no need to say you must put SLIM_CM7.2_Cooperve #4 and kernel inside the root of SD card .
If all failed , the only option to counter /system partition corruption is Odin , as i explained the whole process in post#4 . ( make sure to flash correct CWM this time ).
Today I was by a friend (with a Windows notebook) and try to flash that pda.tar using odin, but odin don't view my phone and Windows give the error "device is not good connected"...

You need to use 3 parts-split wipe package as i have instructed ( PDA/MODEM/CSC) , pit file and boot loader ; re-partition enabled , not a single pda file; Please read to understand my comments provided for you . For connection issues , make sure you have installed appropriate drivers and other requirements have met ( this post )
Edit: did you try my previous proposal in regards of formatter tools ?
