hi guys
I would like to ask if someone know how to modify the ICS pin unlock so that i only need to input the numbers, then it can unlock automatically without press the OK button. anyone knows how to do that?
I have my G3 rooted with Lollipop and am trying to find a module that will allow me to remove the "check" step to unlocking the phone via pin.
Does a module exist for this?
Can you post a screenshot?
Hello Guys and Girls!
I am about to buy a new LG V10 H960a in Germany.
Currently I am using a Galaxy Note 3 which is still a great machine, but I think it is time to switch to a new phone with more speed, better camera and better sound.
I do not game, but listen to a lot of music and take a lot of photos and videos.
At the moment, my phone running stock Android 4.4.4 is rooted, has Xposed and is encrypted.
My question:
After officially unlocking the bootloader on the V10, will I be able to:
Root + install Xposed (Xprivacy, Greenify) + ENCRYPT the device on Stock Marshmallow? (I am not going to install custom roms). Does the method [adb -> pkill -KILL daemonsu] still work? If not, which way do I have to choose?
Also, if I ENCRYPT my device, could you tell me more about the unlocking mechanism?
1. After booting, what is the maximum of letters and numbers possible in the password field [16?]?
2. Is it possible to unlock with the fingerprint sensor after entering a password once after booting?
3. I did not find much info or looked in the wrong place: Generally unlocking with fingerprint, do you have to press once to both wake and unlock or do I have to press twice for wake and once again for unlock?
Thank you very much!

Hi ndroiduzer,
I'm not able to answer your questions regarding encryption as I currently don't use ist but I will try for the rest.
After officially unlocking the bootloader on the V10, will I be able to:
Root + install Xposed (Xprivacy, Greenify) + ENCRYPT the device on Stock Marshmallow?
Click to collapse
Yes, root and installing xposed is possible. I don't know about encryption. The Option is still there but as I don't use it I cannot confirm it is still working after bootloader unlock.
Unlocking with fingerprint:
Genarally you have to enter the alternative code (PIN, Pattern, Password) after reboot once before you can unlock you phone with your fingerprint. There is a module for Xposed called "FingerprintEnabler". If you have installed it you can unlock your phone with your fingerprint directly after reboot. You don't have to enter your PIN/Pattern/Password first.
To unlock your phone with the fingerprint you place your finger on the sensor (which is the power button) and press the button once to activate the screen. Just leave your finger on the sensor and the phone will unlock. If you have a flip case which activates the screen when you open it, you just need to place your finger on the sensor.
I hope this clarifies things a bit.
Thank you a lot for your thorough explanations!
Nice to hear, one does not have to press twice to unlock.
Hello,
my Friend bring to me his Daughters Xperia Z5C and asked me to remove the Passcode Patern ( She forgot )
I thought it should be Easy done by wipe the Phone from Bootloader ,Boot TWRP...Whipe the rest.
But :
-Figured out there is no Bootloader Menu like other Androids @ Sony Phones
-No ADB Recognition if i plug in the device.
Has any one Ideas how to save the girls Phone ?
Is it on a custom ROM or stock?
Hi - I have a Poco F1 running 11.0.9 with MUIU EU and Magisk 25.1. I'd like to remove the pin check at boot so that I can sell the device (I don't want to deal with locking the bootloader again). Is there a way to remove the pin? Under Developer Options, I see the "Encrypt device using Lock screen password" is disabled. Do I need to enable/disable it, or..?
Any suggestions are appreciated! This is a great device I just don't play pogo anymore
SOLVED: enable-then-disable did the trick.
