Is it Possible for you to Translate Games from this Company? - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

The company, Kairosoft, is a Japanese game company that creates games on Android (and sometimes IOS). They released about 1/4 of their games to English on Android, but the rest remain Japanese. I would like to know if this would work well with Kairosoft games. Thanks in advance!

[Q] Slow paced (or turn based) multiplayer games?

Do you guys know of any games that can be played with other android phones at a leisurely pace? On that I have in mind is Words with Friends (and similar games). I'm looking for something that I can play with a friend of mine, but that we can but down for a while and then pick back up whenever one of us has a free minute.
Thanks!
I think its a MMO on the market called pocket something its multiplayer not turned based & free
derp
Try searching "ShipCombat Multiplayer". It's basically like battleship and you're able to sync it with facebook as well.
There's an MMO called "Pocket Legends" as well, if that's the kind of game you're into. "Dungeon Defenders" is similar as well.
Not to mention all the RPG style games like iMobster available on the market.
"Chess Online" lets you play games with people around the world also.
Now that I'm thinking about it, I feel like the Market needs more slow-paced multiplayer games. I'm personally waiting for them to port Hanging with Friends.
Thanks for the reply, guys. Cell phones are the ideal platform for slower turn based games like this. I'll look into that battleship.

[Q] software for disabled

my dad has had 2 strokes, i want to give him my Gtab, a mouse is too much, i have seen how kids with autism have really responded to touchscreen and its helped them, any suggestions on software to help his memory or stimulate him on a basic level, but that's not kids games? i tired the angry birds, he just looked at it and then shook head no.
Lol angry birds, i suggest puzzle games or card games, there is even "mind" training games on the market, but i realized for older generation ppl, "like my mother" they enjoy poker, card, slot machine games, or even some brain teasers games.. and worse comes to worse just show him how to search for games and let him chose you be surprise what games the elder generation chose

Gunbound for android

Hi guys. I just saw an app in playstore named "Gunbound-Gunny". The game is like gunbound with added efforts from dota like "first blood, double kill, etc." Also the graphics is great!
But there is one problem, it is not in english language.
Can we do something? The game is really addictive!
Thanks XDA.
I wish something like this would become a reality. All the asian knock-offs in the play store are horrible and overly complex. Some dev teams here should under take this project for a true turn-based tank shooter.

[Q] GT-P7150 Play games.

Sorry if this is the wrong place for this, or even if anyone is still here, but why doesnt marvel contest of champions or angry birds transformers work on my kids GT-P7510? From nz. Thanks in advance if anyone can shed some light, or direct me in the right place. Cher.
What rom? When my tab was still in honeycomb i cant play games too.
Depends what games you're trying to play. The Tegra 2's been largely discontinued in terms of support as game makers move towards supporting newer chipsets and GPUs. It's possible that newer games simply cannot support the hardware.
Does the game just crash as soon as you start it?
(Hi from Auckland by the way)

Which game genres are still profitable to create?

Hello,
I've recently created different flappy bird clones and tried to jump on the flappy bird train, but it didn't work out, as there simply is too much competition.
I wonder if creating apps for android is profitable for small developers anyway. Are there any suggestions on which kind of games to focus? Which genres are you targeting on?
What are your experiences with casual games?
Everyone likes high end graphics games.... but so far the only game i havent seen on the play store... its a soccer game...fifa 15 & 16 just sucks... cant play international games ect... maybe a worl cup game with narrators? Since its just around the corner!!.. & maybe charge $5 bucks for it..

The thing is, as a single developer, I can't afford high end graphics. So I'm looking for market gaps.
Never thought of a football game... I might give it a try, thanks.
Simple games sometimes do very well. Look at flappy bird. I would go for a simple game with simple easy to understand input.
Phone games are meant to kill time. Make a game that requires no skill at all.
Side scrolling 2d games....that have a storyline!
There is no silver bullet. You could never know which one will be hyped.
If you have a lot of money to spend on marketing you can sell any game, otherwise it doesn't matter if your game has high- or low-end graphics. If some people start to play with it and start to share it you'll win
Just make games you would like to play with
jglm4u,
Its too hard to develop soccer games on android and need expensive licenses for stars like messi or ronaldo.
