I need some help..
few days ago i buy asus padfone s , and i need to root my phone
but!! i can't found anything about "Root Asus Padfone S" it's just have for padfone x,zenfone 4-5-6 but not found Asus Padfone S :crying:
anyone can help me ?
Please tell me step by step to root Asus Padfone S ,and unroot method (if want to upgrade firmware from Asus it's need to unroot first ?),and how to enter to recovery mode
and i have some step please tell+fix if my step it's incorrect
1.Turn on my phone and Factory Reset on system
2.go to Recovery Mode and "wipe cache partition" -> "wipe data/factory reset"
3.Root
4.go to Recovery Mode and "wipe cache partition" again after root
5.Done
It's right ?

Root doesn't require wiping.

Okay, honestly speaking I don't remember whether my bootloader was locked or not but I do know that it was rooted (duh!) and had x-recovery.
I wanted to format it completely so I booted to x-recovery and I used many format options, these are the ones I remember,
"wipe data/factory reset"
"wipe cache partition"
and many other options in "mount and storage" and "advanced" but only related to formatting/deleting data
and now my phone won't go after "sony ericson" logo, I tried pressing back button but it is not even booting in x-recovery...
please help, I've already downloaded sony pc companion, sony update service, flashtools, please please please
NEVER MIND guys, it finally worked, I don't know it just got recognized by SEUS and I got back to stock rom...

my cell is giving error of software corruption and after error mobile restarts.
i tried to wipe by pressing volume key. it goes to recovery mode . but when i selected wipe data/factory reset it do not take any action.
i want to install the OS again. and i dont know how to do it. please help me.

Im here with a problem..
My phone is a WIko Cink Peax 2 with Jelly bean OS
Yesterday it was released a new official update for this phone and 1 month earlier I had done root.
Its happens that when i clicked to start the update phone was about to reboot but nothing happened. I thought it was dead..
Now every time I turn the phone on it goes to cwm recovery (v6.0.3.7) and down in the screen says “warning: no file_contexts”.
When I click “reboot system now” shows up that phone doesn’t has root “root access is missing. Root device?” I click in “Yes - Root Device (/system/xbin/su)” and phone restarts but everything still the same.
I already done wipe data/factory reset and wipe cache partition. Still nothing..
I downloaded the super su and put in on my sd card because I read in a website that this could solve the problem. Happens that when I click “choose zip from external sdcard" shows this message "E: Cant mount /external_sd/" with all this I have no more ideia of what I should do.
Other thing that I think its important to mention is that when I connect phone via usb to pc it turns on by it self.
If anyone could help me I appreaceate it ..

My Samsung Galaxy S4 which fell this morning and now is stuck in Android system recovery mode. Each "reboot system now" ends with the same home recovery screen. I still haven`t tried "wipe data/factory reset" since I would like to back-up my data, if possible. Is it possible to back-up data if my phone is in this state? I don`t think that USB debugging is turned on.
Can you please advise what are my options?

My Doogee X10 boots to the resting android screen where it says 'No command'
I have tried Wipe data/factory reset and Wipe cache partition with no luck
I have also tried uploading the firmware Doogee_X10_Android 6.0_20170616.zip (from Doogee forums) using SP_Flash_Tool_v5.1628_Win but get error 'chip hw_code mismatch! scatter MT6570 device MT633'
ANY help would be great thanks
I also have a similar problem. It will no go past the DOOGEE logo and I have tried both the "wipe data/factory reset" and "wipe cache partition" also with no luck. Really hoping for a breakthrough here...

hi saw this while looking for custom roms and saw this if youre stuck at no command click the power button one time and you will be in recovery
