I have a strange problem.
My phones WiFi will drop its connection randomly every 2 or 5 minutes.
After a connection drop if i tries to open (Settings -> WiFi ) it will freeze my phone.
The only option is to toggle the WiFi on/off Switch at the settings.
After turn off and on, WiFi is back to normal and it auto connects to my router.
I'm Running
ROM : Temasek's UNOFFICIAL CyanogenMod 11 v161
Recovery : Phiz recovery v6.58.9

Try forgetting the network and connect again. If not ok then goto recovery and clear cache.

if i clear cache it works for like a 6 or 7 hours for normal then the problem starts again

Sorry for the english I'm from Brazil.
WHen I go to Menu - Settings - Wireless & Networks underneath Wi-Fi it just says error. When I try to connect it goes grey with Turning on... underneath and then 10-20 seconds later just goes back to error.

Are you still using the stock/factory ROM with root? If not, which custom ROM are you using?

Tip to newcomers - there's an Apps in Market, "APN Backup & Restore" that I personally recommend, especially if you are using the pad with a 3G sim card, so that after you flash to another ROM, you can easily get it back. Also, try "SMS Backup & Restore" as your settings will be saved to an XML file for easy recovery.

i still getting this error.when turn on the wifi whith error.i install the latest official rom and try one stuck rom.but this error still is.would u please notify me that this error is hardware or software problem?i perform reset factory 3 time.also i check the advance setting in wifi seeting and mac address but this message mac address unavailable.please help me

Ok - before you changed or flash ROM, did WiFi ever worked on your pad?
Did you try to connect to an open WiFi network (unsecured)?
Do you have a Mobile(Cellular) sim card account & is it active/working on the pad? Can you make outgoing calls and/or answer incoming (voice) calls on this device?
Go to Settings > About phone > Status > and 3rd. menu item from the bottom (scroll down the screen) is Wi_Fi Mac address - does it show anything or say unavailable ?
Next is Bluetooth address - does it show anything or say unavailable ? If it has a MAC address, can you connect & test a BT headset?
Go to Settings > Wireless > WiFi setttings - then press the home key to bring up the "Scan" & "Advanced" menu - press Scan .... anything happen ?
Go into Advanced & check your Wi-Fi sleep policy, change it to "Never" for now. then exit (all the way out.)
Reboot into CWM Recovery, wipe dalvik & cache 3 times and then power down the device, wait 3 to 5 minutes, then turn it back on - check & see if you can turn on WiFi & get a MAC address?
Whatever wireless network & router you are trying to use to connect, please check & confirm that it is working properly & other device can easily connect to it & picking up a DHCP assigned ip address.
Otherwise, you might want to return it as defective if still under factory warranty & get it repaired or replaced.

I have a i9300 international and since i upgraded from 4.0.4 to 4.1.1 i`m having problems with wifi. It keeps disconecting from router every 5 minutes and automatically reconects. I tryed everything from disabling things in advanced wifi to disable power save mode in *#0011# menu, keeping it ON allways. Than i changed the router, i modified settings in the router, disabled wifi security. Nothing works, every now and than (sometimes every 5 minutes) the wifi starts disconecting and reconecting in 2-3 seconds. It is verry frustrating. Is there any fix? Real fix?

I've installed the custom rom Revolution HD 16 with 4.1.2 in it and it works great now. Done a full wipe, installed the rom and then deleted the cache and dalvik again. That was all, hope to never have that problem again. Oh, and the phone is more snappy too

open wifi settings and select the wifi. then press connect. if you have changed the password for wifi then try pressing forget and the again press on connect. if this did not work the see below
did you flash any rom or made changes to your phone? if yes then try flashing the stock firmware and try again.
Reset the phone to factory setting but do the backup if that doesn't work check your modem setting.

I have recently flashed my MMx Nitro 311 to CM 13 rom
everything is running ok aoart From Net connectivity Problem.
After Using 20-30 mins of Data internet my Data automatically disconnecting. i am unable to reconnect it after toggling the data off/on switch also.
so i have to reconnect it by either restarting phone. or by using airplane mode.
Plz help me with this issue.

I am having problems with mobile network in the Zenfone 4 Selfie ZD553KL. My problem is when I turn on the phone data to use 4g/3g network and turn it off it doesn't turn on again. Turning the data on,off and on again is impossible. If I turn the data on and want to use the phone I will always have to reboot it. Does anyone whave this problem?
System version: 14.0400.1712.181_20171205

It happens to me too, then I always wait for a second or two and I turn on data again
update your device to latest version qnd clear the cache partation it will solve your problem
