[Q][BUG?]Quick reboot - Xperia Z2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi.
A month ago i decided to go back to stock android 4.4.4
I also wanted dual recovery just to make backups.
So, I downloaded a ftf from this page
It contained NDR too. I find it useful cuz fast reboot. But it does not seem like this TWRP supports it, or whatever it is. When I fast reboot it goes fine first time. Then i do fast reboot another time (or regular boot) and recovery is gone!
When system booted, Xposed is not activated. Root is partly gone (SuperSU give me logs saying I have root, but no).
Has this something to do with the TWRP recovery??
Can it be fixed?
(Im shure its not Xposed cuz I havent had any problems sice I did not touch fast reboot...)

ZTE Nubia Z5s wrong Gapps

Well, it seems like I have ****ed up trying to flash Gapps onto my brand new Nubia Z5s (not the mini version)
The first thing I did was rooting it (using Vroot or Iroot) which worked perfectly. It installed Superuser just fine
Then I had some problems getting a custom recovery.
After ****ing up my recovery by flashing with the chinese tool most people seem to use, I finally got a working english CWM (using the program depicted in the first image of this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2749259).
At this point I should have made a backup, but I did not. Retarded me installed flashify and used it to flash Gapps. That's where it went wrong. When the phone rebooted, I got flooded with error messages about google processes that had stopped. I did manage to get into my settings screen, where I don't get flooded. From there I can alter USB debugging and all that stuff.
I then made a backup from CWM recovery of this situation, which is the one I currently am in. I did try to flash another Gapps zip over the Gapps I flashed with flashify, but that just sent my device into bootloop. I got out of bootloop by restoring the backup I made. I also tried flashing MIU (http://www.needrom.com/download/nubia-z5s-miui-v5-2/). It looked fine for the first minute, but then it suddenly started rebooting at random, and it turned out most apps woulden't open. So I restored to the backup once again.
Could anyone please help me figure out how to get Gapps working? I frankly dont care on which rom, as long as it doesn't have buggs (The stockrom didn''t have any either).
Topic can be closed or deleted, already solved the issue:
I flashed a rom from Needrom,. which is the stock Nubia OS with Gapps built in. Works perfectly now!

[Help] Completely Messed my Phone Up lol...

Hello,
These past two days have not been a good day for my phone lol. Some background:
BEFORE:
I had a 4.4.4 Custom ROM [Forgot the name...]
TWRP: 2.5.0.2
AFTER:
I clean flashed http://forum.xda-developers.com/gal...m-cyanogenmod-12-0-nightlies-verizon-t2998057
I cleared cache + Dalvik after the flash and it asked me if I wanted to fix root (From what I read before, you're never supposed to press Fix, rather you're supposed to prses Do not Fix and you'll still keep your root.
However, I accidentally pressed Fix Root and Now I lost my root. The ROM I flashed is glitchy because from what I read is because I have TWRP 2.5.0.2.
Now I'm stuck on this ROM, I have no idea how to upgrade to the latest TWRP and don't know how to get my root back . [Can't get TWRP Manager because I don't have Google apps (I tried flashing the GAPPS by Paranoid but it keeps crashing because I think it's the outdated TWRP)]. I tried to download TWRP manager on my phone via another site, but it doesn't install on my phone for some weird reason.
Thank you,
Jerry
Download, install and run the towelroot.apk file. This will root your phone, takes about 2 minutes

bootloop after super su update

i was trying to get my z3v all set up for my wife to use, the usb port went out a couple months ago and i upgraded to the galaxy s8+, so we bought a wireless charger for the z3v so she could use it. anyway super su prompted me to update which i did then i updated the file hosts on adaway, i rebooted after this and now the phone is stuck in a bootloop.
it seems like once every 8-10 loops it boots farther in showing more of the boot animation which i find odd. i can only get into the stock recovery which has limited options. would doing a factory reset from stock recovery help? i had exposed installed if that makes a difference.
You must have flashed wrong about recovery or boot partition... Bootlops generally happen when boot or recovery partitions were messed. Flash twrp again. If possible, find a rooted twrp zip.

I accidentally deleted my Android OS in my TWRP

I ran into a problem before: but my solution ended up breaking my system more:
Old issue: https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/help/rooted-phone-root-apps-t3708044 - hoping this will help solve that also
what happened:
I went to Reflash my SuperSU.zip: with an updated version: via Sideload: which ended up failing at 78% and putting me in bootloop: So i went to do a Reset with my TWRP: i must have selected the wrong section because now it says i have no Android: Still in bootloop too:
My phone died since then and my TWRP recovery seemingly will not load up, perhaps i just haven't given it the time to, however i looked up a stock Rom to flash if i can get my TWRP running again
Question is: How can i FORCE it to load bootloader, even though it is in bootloop, So i can Reflash my TWRP then proceed to Flash my ROM with this Rom "BLOX2core" which the site says " - This is the ideal stock ROM for anyone wanting a thinned out version of stock. Comes pre-rooted, busybox installed, deodexed (to be able to theme and easy modding), and debloated like crazy. Comes with a Pixel style launcher, new boot animation, and sounds. Roughly HALF the size of the original stock. Simply flash the ROM and start modding the device to your liking."
EXT site i found rom is http://blox2.com/flashablelife-one-x2-stock-roms/
I really am only worried about it having BusyBox since i couldnt install busybox originally: I do doubt ill do much other modding on it, except a bootanimation possibly: but i digress.
The Questions:
How can i FORCE it to load bootloader, even though it is in bootloop?
From what i understand Flashing a rom replaces your operating system: is this right?
Is this possible?
if so: can i get at least a half-dummed tutorial?
(i dont need button Combos or the terminal commands IE Power + Vol Down or Fastboot flash recovery TWRP-recovery.img unless its a completely odd button/command that isnt normally used)
i didnt expect it to fail to update SU so I didnt use NanDroid before hand: I should have though
NOTE I am using Windows ADB not Linux because i do not have a Linux machine:

How to completely restore main firmware from crdroid ?

So I rooted my tablet today in the morning, and has been discovering new stuff with root all the day it's night now. And I tried custom root (crdroid),
And it was pain in the ass. 1- wiped everything using the advanced tool (data, cache 1, cache 2, system) and used the
(Tabs3_oreo_forced+encryption_disabler).zip flashed it then flashed SuperSU, booted into it, explored for 2 hours noticed no SuperSU, wanted to go back to download mode but serial image shoed on screen and in the middle was: {Press home key to go into download mode} did that then got to twrp and wanted to install supersu but couldn't mount data, tried million combination of magisk the disabler and supersu but it's either: run vanilla crdroid, (without google service and stuff and couldn't download thanks to the loop) get data unmounted, get stuck on the screen saying: (tab s3 by Samsung blah blah) so I'm hoping to get back to the original firmware, which I'm downloading it now (region: iraq) but after I get back to original I'm gonna root it (because it worked flawlessly then, I can do that) but any help on how to install main firmware, should I just twrp the install ? Or can you guys give another way ?

Hi thanks for the reply it has been a really long loooooong time since i checked xda on my account, and I'm happy to say I'm now a master in custom roms and rooting, currently trying to port s-pen functions, and fix the damn camera problem with custom roms on this particular device. Thanks again.
