Hello,
ich need your help by a big Mistake/Problem!
I tryed to update my Huawei Phone Honor 3 Hn3-U01 with an unofficial Version to Android 4.4.2.
This failed and a new Recovery Version was installed by this Process on the Phone "Recovery 3e".
The Phone does not Boot and hangs on Bootlogo. I do this Update Progress with TWRP and boot in to the old Recovery.
After the failed Update Process the old Recovery Version would not restored. This is very bad, because ich can not Restore a Stock ROM with this new Recovery Version...
If I try to Install an stock ROM he failed and said "installation aborted. cust copying files... copy cust files..."
But i don't know how can I restore the old Recovery Version in this Situation?? Can you help me Please!!!
Do you need more Information!?
Thanks

i have got same problem with my gionee s7. please help me too if you find solution.
This is the first time I tried to install a custom rom. Please be gentle.
Device: Huawei Y300 (Bootloader unlocked and rooted)
TWRP Version: 2.5.0.1
Custom rom: cm-11-20140510-NIGHTLY-u8833.zip (found here)
I mindlessly tried to flash cyanogenmod 11 (kitkat) on my Huawei Y300. Here was the last steps I did:
copied rom and gapps zip files on phone root
restarted phone in fastboot mode
on ADB, ran
Code:
fastboot flash boot path\to\boot.img
(everything seem to be working fine)
ran
Code:
fastboot reboot
(phone rebooted in TWRP)
Tried to install cm-11-20140510-NIGHTLY-u8833.zip rom file (installation failed)
From what I read, the version of my twrp is not compatible with kitkat? Now i believe I bricked my phone because I forgot to create a backup of the stock rom.
Questions:
Is the stock rom still somehow there, hiding in my phone memory?
Is it possible to "undo"
Code:
fastboot flash boot path\to\boot.img
so that the "original" boot.img is used by my phone when I try to reboot it?
I am currently downloading Android SDK with a plan to upgrade my twrp for kitkat compatibility. I hope this will let me install cyanogenmod kitkat on my huawei. But I am not sure if I will succeed. If I still fail, can you guys tell me what other options I have to save my phone?
Thanks
Edit: problem solved.
I learned how to properly flash/upgrade twrp via fastboot.. Retried installing rom with twrp 2.7 and it was successful.
I have the following problem: had android 6.0 properly rooted and with TWRP installed. I upgraded to 7.0 and the phone entered a bootloop. I used TWRP to flash two images (fool): a boot and a recovery. (within the android 7 zip file) I was able to get into the system and the phone seems to work fine. However nmy UMI MAX was without root and I do not have access to recovery (the icon appears and the message: "no command"). Such a bummer. When I try to access the factory mode, I actually access the menu but can not do anything and I have to force the phone off.
To add the mobile phone is not recognized by the computer in download mode. I have tried several methods and o.s. (Xp, w7, and w10). I can not get the drivers to install successfully. So I can not use the SP Flash tool. What can I do to reset root and recovery? Please help. Thank you, guys.
I ve got same problem.... I guess u hv to flash twrp wt d latest .rar scatter file of ur current Android 7 rom to gt d twrp bk on ur device then root ....because i flashed twrp wt the scatter file i used on Android 6 nd i gt a 100% wt red background which didn't work......now getting ur fone to be recognized jst run driver's installer then wen u done wt d whole blah blah of flashing twrp nd u plug ur fone jst try ro shake d usb after clicking download until d system notices ur umi max nd download complete dts how i do mine i hope dt works
I finally got the computer to recognize the phone. Then it was a matter of flashing S.O. and then the TWRP. With android 6.0 the mobile phone works perfectly.
Question: Can I install android 7 (nougat) via OTA without having to tinker with TWRP? Or do I have to update / flash TWRP too? Is there a compatible version with android 7?
Thanks!!

Hi.
First of all: "Thank you" for your reply.
Second: I've the following doubt: after upgrading via OTA don't I already have O.S. 7.0?
The "Download any latest max v.7.0 ROM file flash twrp" is to use the "scatter" file of this ROM to be able to flash recovery with twrp?
Thanks again!
Yes after upgrading thru ota u already HV d 7.0 o.s
And yes downloading any latest ROM max v.7.0 file is to gt the scatter file to be able to flash recovery with twrp
Heyo Jorge are experiencing ghost touches on ur umi max?
Hi guys,
yesterday I succesfully unlocked bootloader on my Mate 10 PRO (Bla-L09) and installed LineageOS 15.1 with success.
The problem is that now I just want to recover my stock firmware on it.
I downloaded the update.zip from the site (for my branded phone) and it was C55 version but I don't know how to repair it. Just tried to reflash stock recovery and start recovery mode but with no success. Installation hang on 5% and then phone reboots automatically.
Already tried to flash SYSTEM.img (from Huawei Update Extractor) with fastboot: it flashes correctly but im impossible to boot the devices.
I am sure that I do something wrong. Can you help me please?
Hi,
Where have you found original stock rom. It is my impression that it is not available. Could you please provide a link?
Thanks

After flashing back stock system.img you need to Factory Reset in stock recovery. Alternatively use HWOTA: https://forum.xda-developers.com/mate-10/how-to/guide-mate-10-flash-oreo-update-package-t3716814
Always make a Twrp backup of your rom so you don't have to worry about flashing back like this.Thats what I do and I have never had a issue.
Hi guys,
My bad that I kind of bricked my A50S . I was trying to install TWRP, which I did and I am able to open TWRP. Then when trying to install the Lineage OS 17 Unofficial, TWRP confirmed that installation was successful however, I ended up with no OS. I tried downloading the Stock firmware and flashing via ODIN, but it's stuck at pit_flash_binary - Unsupported Version. Can anybody please help?
