The back of the Nexus 6 is just too slippery, afraid of a drop? Is there a thin material that can be applied to the back of the phone that has a textured surface that is non-slip?
Thanks
Skateboard grip tape?
You can get that on clear also.
Skinomi skins are awesome for exactly that reason. Even if you don't like the feel on the screen, the back is grippy and protects your device. They also offer a life time warranty so even if you mess up applying it they will just send you a new one. I applied a wood dbrand skin and then a skinomi over it for grip and gloss

I am loving my bear Nexus 6 case on Amazon.. Closest thing to not having a case IMO but solves the slippery issue.

I didn't realize that skinomi had a skin like that. I agree though, I bought a Black Bear case about a month ago and its really well made. Except now I am sick of that sandpaper like grip. Its definitely a non slip case, but I want a smooth matte grippy case that is very minimal. I will look into Dbrand or the Skinomi.
Good combination.
I just ordered dbrand black leather, next is the skinomi

I was thinking about getting the dbrand matte black. Let me know how you like the dbrand leather. 10 bucks is a good deal imo. The mahogany looks awesome. why dont the skinomi pictures show the nexus brand and logo like i see in the picture you posted? thats the same case right?

Same case I've had on mine since day one. Love it. Light and looks great and it was about $10 on amazon.
Cheap, light, and durable. Works perfect.
This Diztronic Case Is Great. I WasWorried AboutOrderingIt Sight Unseen But ItWorks Great. (SorryAbout The Caps. StillLearning Swype).
I have this case in matte clear. Works great! I also have some Cruzerlite Androidified cases. They are both excellent brand choices. I do like the camera/flash cutout on the Cruzerlite Androidified cases a little better though as it's slightly smaller than the Diztronic cases cutout.

Old thread revisited, lol... I had this case, but ditched it for the Incipio NGP case, which is a bit thicker, and has the buttons covered.
I am looking for a actual leather case, like this one here:

I don't want a wallet type, or flip. I want a actual case, but it's very difficult to find such case, if there even is such option. Preferably a leather case that covers the volume rocker, since it can get scratched up.
Thanks,
Thomas
I have this one. Its not real leather but its very cheap and looks like leather. Great fit too...

This one is real leather. I might pull the trigger and order this one too

Just got the real leather one from Ebay.
Made by TETDED
Excellent case. Slim and real leather. Feels great in the hand.
I was going to get the TETDED as well but the pictures show the top right corner exposed which I find odd.

So, after wanting to try a wrap for so long, and seeing how it doesn't exactly provide the ultimate protection that I wanted for my G3, I combined a few elements to come up with a setup that works perfectly for me and looks nice at the same time. First, I got the Tech Armor Ultraclear Ballistic Glass screen protector. It fits perfectly, I still get maximum input, and barely notice it's there.
Then, I got the Teak Wood wrap from Slickwraps. Finally, in order to protect the corners and sides, but still be able to appreciate the wrap, I got a bumper case from Nillkin. Love the combination and the bumper case is exactly what I was looking for, for a little added protection. The case is very snug, a perfect fit with all the right cutouts in place.

Looks pretty sweet and great idea with the wrap on back cover I like it and should protect against scratches, doesnt take away the nice design LG have done like a full cover would.
Another benefit would be more efficient wireless charging(if charging with case on and using stock LG wireless charger)since no bulky cover, looks to me like LG wireless charger would easily fit between that bumper, could be wrong though.
The Nillkin Bumper is working 100% with wireless charging (at least with the Nokia DT910)
Has anyone noticed wearing marks on the bumper on the Neo Hybrid case? Mines starting to get really bad. I assume from being in a pocket and going in and out. I will be contacting Spigen soon.

haven't had any issues here. Had it for 2 weeks and is always in and out of my pocket. I got the gold version
Mines starting to bowl out of shape.

Is that a white mark? Mine broke in about a week of use so it returned it and I couldn't be happier. Spigen needs to get some better QC before I buy another case form them. Their plastic screen protectors are excellent, but their cases are hit and miss :/

Yeah it's white, like the top coating is rubbing off and exposing the bare plastic below

That happened on my Note 3's Neo Hybrid after 7 months not a week or two. I would contact them because that's terrible quality for such a short time.
I agree!
The bumper on my Neo Hybrid is starting to pull away from the case shell, right by the power/volume buttons. I don't abuse the case or phone all all. I emailed them but doubt they will do much about it.
So I decided to try out this new Incipio case called the Area. I went with the frosted version because it's a cool contrast for the black phone, although I like the case so much I might go and try out the black version of it as well!

So when I first got the case, it was a little beefier than I thought from the pictures on Amazon...but it's not a bad thing. The corners are reinforced so that it's definitely protective if it falls. I actually dropped it off my counter in the bathroom and it landed on the floor and protected it fine! (I never drop my phones, so I was lucky I had a beefier case on it this time!!)
The buttons are awesome! They aren't shaped like buttons, but rather, each button has a little raised mark of what it does. The sides of the case are completely flat, but once you're near a button, you feel the outline of it's shape. And on top of it, they're really easy to press, which is hard to find in a gel/tpu case like this.
The frost matte back feels cool, and all of the cutouts are shaped perfectly.
I've got the spigen screen protector on it that wraps around the curve of the device, and there's no issue with this case pulling it up on mine, so that's another plus.
All in all, this is an awesome case for the price.

This case isn't on Incipio website. I believe it's a bit of branding trickery. I ordered one anyways to check it out.
