My wife deleted some files from her Nextbook 8 HD 8 G - When she tried to repair with factory ROM, she had an incomplete image file and deepbricked her tablet. We have rescued a tablet before ( Ainol Fire ) from a deepbrick, and that tablet had an easy solution ( short the NAND ). However, I have searched many forums and now some help on howto awaken her tablet. I do get the redlight, but cant get it to boot or even show up on USB. I tried the "unbrick" kit, but nothing is happening. Is there a hard reset for this tablet? Please anyone, some helpful suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Sal all,
I cannot find firmware for this tablet. It's a 7inch, dual camera, atm7029 quad core cpu, that doesn't start, but i can write firmware with Actions Pad Product Tool.
The only available firmwares for this type of cpu (atm7029) i was able to find, were from Ainol tablets, but these are not good.(only lights start 1sec)
Can someone help ?
10x in advance !
Hi! There is a similar device firmware from (Russian): (yadi.sk/d/Wku6HWTxKkaKa)
But WiFi and camera other.
System image
Here is the image of the system partition. Dumped with ADB from a working tablet. (512MB)
(mediafire.com/download/roc8870rirvt3hw/actc_system.img)
And this is the image of the recovery partition: (48MB)
(mediafire.com/download/fd30kaio8xb490j/acta_recovery.img)
If you want to see what's inside the images, mount the image in Linux, or use Linux Reader if you're using Windows.
How to use the actc_system.img and acta_recovery.img
Hi, I'm an android newbie needing help. I found this thread while searching for how to deal with a bootlooping Orion TAB-700qc tablet belonging to a friend.
Apparently my friend tried to update the tablet with the wrong update (I'm not really sure what he did), but it went into a bootloop -- it will not get past the "android" screen. I found how to go into the Recovery menu but nothing there would fix the problem. I have downloaded the actc_system.img and acta_recovery.img discussed in this thread, but I need step-by-step instructions for how to use them to get the tablet working again.
Can someone please direct me to instructions that I as a newbie will understand? I have worked a lot with pc's but I have almost no experience with androids.
Thanks,
cmNhu
Hi I kinda have a problem with my tablet it keeps booting in to the Android system recovery and when I try to apply a firmware from the Archos site that I put in the external storage the installation keeps aborting half way and I have no idea what to do any more so can anybody help me here on how to get android to work again because so far nothing is working for me.
Really desperate so please any tips that could help are really appreciated!
still same problem anybody with any tricks or tips to get this to work?
I really can't seem to find any information on this problem for this tablet.
Have you tried with SD-card? You can also try to debug your problem through USB / UART.
Also, do you have SDE menu installed?
Hi,
Let me start at the begging.. Tablet is 1 month old and was rooted by a friend.. All was good but then me (stupid me) did an update on the tablet. That messed up totally the OS on it. It only boots in recovery mode. I did all the hard reset stuff but with no luck. I can’t get windows to recognize tablet to use SP flash tools. I did install drivers. I downloaded the firmware A7600F_000_016_140627_row.zip. I have placed the file on my root of the SD card but still no luck to get it install on the tablet. I don't know what to do anymore. I know there was a gentleman on this website that had the same problem.. And someone help him to get it fixed.. They don't say how and also no more response from him.. Please Please Please can someone help me to get this tablet fixed.
Thank you in advance
Hi, I have an Ainol Numy 3G AX1 that's stuck on boot animation after an attempted root, I'm assuming it's soft-bricked right?
Problem is, every time I connect it to the computer to try and fix the issue it gives me a "USB device no recognized" message, it's been this way long before it was bricked, all I have is the original ROM for the device that I downloaded from a Turkish website, and I'm poorly educated on how android systems work (I don't know what to do with it), is there any way to fix this tablet? Please help, it might seem trivial but it was the last gift I got from my late father, I really wish I could have it back. Thank you in advance for any help you can provide.

Assume it is rooted to run the learnpad software.
Sadly I have not been able to enter recovery mode to reset it. Have tried everything I can think of.
Tablet has no volume up or down buttons
Have tried everything & am running out of ideas.
Somebody must have encountered this issue before.
Any ideas or help would be much appreciated

Hi there,
I just finshed reading the info about the tablet since they are using their own version of android it maybe impossible to get the exact rom however you can unlock the tablet to access restricted features.
And no the tablet is not rooted.
try this website about unlocking the tablet : https://support.learnpad.com/portal/kb/articles/locking-and-unlocking-learnpad
try this website to root your tablet it may or may not work : www.kingoapp.com
Hi there. Thank you for replying.
I cannot unlock the tablet as per your link because to do this you need the original owners login details.
I am a second user.
Tablet seems to be really locked down. Cannot even access the recovery mode which is probably what I need to do.
Seems such a waste of good hardware to maybe have to bin this tablet just because basic android cannot be installed on it.
Really appreciate your help & advice. Many thanks.
Please help
