Hi all.
Does anyone know if the new RR KK 4.4.2 supports any custom kernels like Dorimanx?
Feel like I'm searching in vain on the forums regarding this ROM and kernel support :/
Thanks

I will try this out when I have time. Maybe I should just wait until there is an official message regarding support on RR KK Rom for other kernels.
Thank you

which rom you tried to install as second rom?
you know that syah kernel is discontinued and does not work with newer roms?
use instead googymax kernel (based on syah kernel), it is discontinued now as well, but at least it also supports the latest roms (except the ported note 2 rom kitkat rom)
or use devil kernel
or use arter97 kernel
for dualboot

I use AICP on my Nexus 9 and figured I'd search Google. It's weird, I can't find anything in G2 Android Development for them though.
Also, like the recent Blisspop builds, the wake issue is not a problem on the latest nightly with the included kernel.

Any more information about the builds? I've not heard of that project yet. Are they AOSP based or a derivative of CM?

Thank you so much
So for D802 it requires Jb bootloader /Loki or Kk bootloader?cause Lp uses kk bootloader (stock) but this is not stock perhaps. Installation and instructions arent that specific Coming from cloudyg2 3.3 Lp 5.0.2 Dorimanx kernel.
Both lp-loki and lp-bumped boot stacks will work. Most convenient way probably is

thanks. I was just reading that thread while you were posting it So jb bootloader it is then
EDIT: What kernel works best with this rom (to the ppl who flashed diff kernels) ? Dorimanx or most other kernels are stock based here. 5.1.1 Nightly isnt exactly stock, i think. SOme d802 users battery drain, idle or SOT is because of the stock kernel 3.4.0 (well atleast for me), dunno about other versions tho.Cheers
The daily builds run Marshmallow now and it's pretty stable. Everything works on my d801. I'm also using LamdaKernel even though the one from AICP is pretty good.
How is battery doing?

I'm curious about this rom, but the problems i had with cm12.1 and 13 was the battery, it drained in 5 hours even on screen off i tried using other kernels but i never got them to make a significant difference, now im on Resurrection Remix 5.6.1 on M and the battery is amazing, also, i wasn't able to get QuickRemote working on M either CM or RR, have you tried it?

I do not use nameless ROM but a quick look over the LP thread suggests Boeffla CM kernel could work with nameless. Have you tried? Just asking...
Anyway I would suggest Archi Kernel. Should work fine because it uses the AnyKernel method. Just be sure to flash it over the stock kernel that comes with your rom.

I just mentioned that because you wanted a kernel for nameless rom on LP and as I don't use it I wanted you to know that I'm not speaking from personal experience with that rom in particular. But the way it is built, ArchiKernel should work with every rom and people seem quite happy with it.
I personally use a sammy based KK rom at the moment because I like the UI, mainly for the looks not the performance...
If you want to try another non-sammy based rom other than nameless I would check ArchiDroid also developed by JustArchi as is ArchiKErnel.

Allright thx for the advices
I wanted to flash a custom Kernel for the best battery life and buttery performance over my Nitrogen OS 8.1 ROM. After going through the xda posts and several kernel review videos, Franco Kernel was the best match.
So I tried flashing the latest version 'fk-r16-anykernel2.zip' over my clean ROM but it resulted in a bootloop. So I did a factory reset, flashed AOSP Extended (I thought probably Nitrogen OS and Franco doesn't go hand in hand), and tried Franco Kernel again but without success. I tried all the available versions of the kernel for Oreo ROMs but all resulted in a bootloop ultimately. Please help if anyone has faced the same problem.
I tried wiping the Cache and Dalvik Cache before and after flashing the kernel (although I don't see a point in doing that).
My device information:
Device - Redmi Note 3 SD (Kenzo)
ROM - AOSP Extended Oreo (June 10 official build)
Bootloader unlocked.
TWRP Recovery 3.2.1 installed.
No custom kernel installed.
FK is outdated and will NOT work with roms with the new device tree. This is already posted on that thread and AOEX too.

Ohh.. I didn't know that.. Thanks for your quick reply.. Can you please suggest any alternate Kernel that's as good and supports the new device tree?
Thanks in advance.
Agni kernel latest
The stock kernel is good enough for me, you can always use a kernel auditor to edit it. People use agni kernel.

I tried that too. But there were stutters everywhere. That led me on to Radon. Are you using it with AOSP Extended?
Im using it on bootleggers
