I wished I could answer your question.
But I know in the BarRin Roms, I've changed those values to 512m and everything has been fine.
Yeah i kinda assumed it will set the latter value. Because if i remember correctly, system reads build.prop from top to bottom. I was just looking for a validation if someone else knew that to be true...

Today, when I was looking for Brazilian CSC ("Customer Sales Code") in a Brazilian branded firmware, I found this comment in /system/csc/feature.xml (@right):
The point is: how good has been being Sammy's QC?
Please, think thrice before answering! I'm talking about stock firmware.
Happy browsing (hdlnc.com)!!!

Yep! Means loss of control.
How to fix it back to a single row of icons?

I'm currently running WanamLite XBLFB Stock Rom. I've been looking for details on how to change the dialer buttons to transparent as I've managed to change the background to a custom image. I've found instructions for AOSP Roms but most of them seem to involve using DialerTabActivity.apk which I've been unable to find on my phone. I suppose it's different on an ICS Stock ROM.I'd be grateful if anybody can direct me to the file that's responsible for this and tell me what to edit. If there's already a tutorial that's applicable for our phone, please post the link
This is what I want to change.

33 Views and no reply!?....Anyone!?!?!?!?
Hello. I just moved to ICS, and I'm doing some modding in it.
There's one thing I don't like and that is the spacing/padding on the left and right side in some (most) menus.
Does anyone know how to remove this?
Let me illustrate with a mockup:

"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
The left is how it is, and the right is how I'd like it.
It is ofcourse also very noticeable in the Settings menu:
Any ideas?
Thanks,

I would like to know as well, how to increase/decrease padding in Settings?
Thanks
So I have discovered that when searching in the settings as soon as I type in 'a' the settings app is force closed. This shouldn't be a huge problem for me. Thought I would share though in case anyone knows why this could happen?
It's working for me.

It can happen after you debloat your system. Happened to me.
Still the same for me, I have removed some system apps via the Xiaomi adb fastboot tool. It must be related.

To be honest it isn't a massive problem, Just weird... I think I will keep an eye out for any more issues and go from there.
