Soft(maybe) bricked huawei u8860
I had installed U8860_EmotionUI_1.5_V100R001C00B606 (Chinnese version) ROM to my phone and i wanted to reinstall it to original U8860,Android 2.3,V100R001C00B886, General Version, so i followed tutorial on this site from /showthread.php?t=1457490 thread.
After flush was completed i restarted phone and it was showing huawei logo, and then phone will shut down. I had no recovery mode, the only thing that was working was pink screen. Tried to put dload to sdcard of B886 ROM but cant install it. Because nothing was working i placed all my original (had copy of "image" folder before changing to any other ROM) image files (that "image" folder) to phone through pink mode.
One good thing that happend after flush, and its working now, is that i now can access to my phone throught pink screen, can see all partitions.
Power button, VOLUP + power, VOLDOWN + power: blue screen
Power button + VOLUP + VOLDOWN : sometimes pink sometimes blue screen
Place dload to sdcard + Power button + VOLUP + VOLDOWN : can see only progress bar, after some time it will stop and red light on my phone will start blinking. Like shown in dload.jpg image.
sd_update.log: dload_sd_ram_data_proc->(retry >= DLOAD_RETRY) failed!
When phone is turned off and i connect it to pc it will power on it self and show sometimes pink sometimes blue screen
Tried to place dload to internal memory but nothing was happening
In other words i have only pink screen.
So how can i fix this?

Turn off device.
Press and hold Vol+ (or Vol-) and then Power Button (simultaneously) to enter recovery menu. in recovery menu scroll down to Wipe data/reset using vol+ or (vol-) button snd select using power button.
Also I have uploaded adb drivers
TUT-Installing via Livesuit
1. Download and double click on Livesuit1.11.exe in a folder (say in C:\livesuit\ ). Then the required files(also flashing usb drivers) will be extracted in that same folder.
2. Then turn off ur tablet
3. Press and hold Vol+ button and connect to pc via usb, then immediately start pressing (not holding) power button ( almost ten quick clicks).
4.Then u will see in Device manager ur tablet with yellow sign. Right click on that and select update driver and browse to C:/livesuit/Usb driver then click ok.
It will install drivers. Now u can flash via livesuit.
Disconnect tablet
5. Now download appropriate rom ( the .img file)
6. Open live suit and select the rom in ROM.
7.Now turn off tablet and press and hold vol+ button and then connect via usb. Immediately start pressing(not holding) power button until IT SAYS SOMETHING IN PC LIKE THAT "you must format internal sdcard......" (I cant remember accurately). click ok twice. Then it will start flashing, Now dont disconnect tablet.
Plz reply here.
Have u installed livesuit driver?

compatability
will it work for my itel it 1452 note?
Is it merely copying of the files to the phone? If so can the same be achieved by using the fastboot mode?
I am trying to restore a device(micromax bolt a27) in which I had copied a wrong .img file into the systems folder and phone is not starting up now.
I tried the ResearchDownload.exe tool after installing the USB drivers but as soon as I load the .pac file and attach it via USB its vibrating endlessly and even after a long time I was not able to see anything in the status panel of a tool.
Is it possible to extract the .img files from the .pac and then manually copying them via fasboot?
Please suggest.
Thanks.

flashed wrong kernel
Hi,
I have screwed up here - I flashed the kernel but not the image, now i am stuck either in a boot loop or getting a load of "unfortunately the process anroid....." has stopped.
Previously I had "psd_pollux_windy-4.5-remix-20140822" installed without any problems.
I suspect i may need to get a hold of the kernel used on that image to get me half working again but i dont really know what to do.
can somebody please help? ive had to try a number of different kernels to get the device to even boot up, initially I was just stuck in a boot loop.
thank you very much in advance!

Hold Power and volume up, LED flashes once, keep holding, LED flashes 3 times this will hard power off the tablet
Attach USB to computer with fastboot access, hold volume up and plug USB into tablet, LED flashes orange then turns blue, you now are in fastboot mode
now run
fastboot flash boot <boot.img>
fastboot flash system <system.img>
fastboot reboot (if the boot.img had recovery baked in boot into recovery, press volume up when LED flashes blue/white depending upon recovery, wipe cache, dalvik and factory restore)
if all else fails use flashtool (search xda for xperia flashtool), download the stock firmware
Run flashtool
menue devices
check update
double click relevant device
select device tab
select branding [vmo_us/ca/pr for north american]
double click version column
right click and download: NOTE will fail on creating bundle (i think the '/' throws it off)
go to menu tools
bundle
create
source folder, navigate to where flashtool was installed, theres a folder called fimrware, downloads, sgp311_vmo_us
filled out fields
select everything and hit the > button, it will now create a firmware bundle that you can use to flash in flash mode
hard power down tablet (see above)
Attach USB to computer, hold volume down while plugging USB into tablet, you now are in flash mode
press flash button in flashtool (looks like lightning)
flashmode, should default to where your bundle is, if not, source folder navigate to where bundle is
select firmware (make sure nothing is excluded, if you want to just flash kernel then excluded everything but kernel, ditto for system)
flash: WARNING THIS WILL PROBABLY WIPE YOUR DEVICE BACK TO FACTORY
Would really appreciate if someone can tell me what is the difference between Customized_NCB and Customized_UK? Sorry for asking this but I am new to Xperia tablet Z and there appears to be too many pages to go through in order to get answers regarding this device

"Cold Boot" did not appear
i have followed every steps of the unbricker but until i switch on the tablet, it just continue the boot loop on the blue streak logo and the cold boot did not appear at all... what should i do? i am sure i am using the xperia tab s not the 1st gen tab... thx
Hi.
I also have the problem with my Xperia Tablet S that it won't go over the blue waves after the Sony logo startup.
I tried the hard resert (Vol + / Power), but it did not work.
The Unbricker copy procedures seemed to work well, but when I put the SD card into the Tablet again it does not show me the "Cold Booting" text.
It - again- shows the blue waves and nothing else.
Should I start the tablet with the SD Card with (Vol - / Power) or (Vol + / Power) for the Recovery Menu and than "Update with SD card" ???
What am I doing wrong. Can you help me.
Thanks.
Xperia S SGPT1211
HI
Problem with my tablet, it boots up normally but it constantly gives an error
" System UI has been Stopped" If I press ok it changes to "OLS has Stopped"
I rooted earlier but installed a program which allowed me to change the density of the pixels, I thought un - rooting would solve the issue but Noap
And it appears in a big font.
Tried company full reset using the power + vol key, it goes thru the whole spill of formatting everything, but comes back to the same problem
Tried your method, it does pretty much everything apart from where it says remove SD and then press enter to reboot comes up with an error.
Restarted for same error again
Suggestions ??
How do you backup the internal memory when the device cannot boot up normally to the Android OS interface?
Is there a method with a USB cable or something?
I don't have Blue Waves, I have Yellow/Orange waves after the Sony logo.
Just keeps animating the Left to Right Yellow/Orange waves!
Hello,
I have been trying to unbrick my Xperia Tablet S but ran into a problem with the unbrick tool.
It seems to be running fine up until the following:
[*] Take SD card out of tab and press enter...
Then it reads:
[*] Rebooting...
-exec '/system/bin/sh failed: No such file or directory (2) -
[*] Finished!
[*] Press any key to exit.
At this point the tablet doesn't reboot it stays on the Sony logo with cold boot text in the top left corner.
(And yes I'm sure I removed the SD card before pressing enter.)
I beleive I might have a problem with ADB drivers.
With the SD card inserted and cold boot text showing I see the device as Andriod phone/ Adb interface(something similar) in the device manager.
I can also find it with the adb devices command.
However if I power it on without the SD card (only Sony logo on screen) I see it as Portable device/MTP USB-device in the device manager, and I can't find it with adb devices command.
If anyone has any suggestions please share it with me.
Not working on SGPT1211
Hi Condi,
Thanks for the great work.
Unfortunately the generated SD card does not boot on my Xperia Tablet S (SGPT1211)
I tried several SD cards
(Sandisk 4GB Ultra, Fuyutsu HC8GB and Samsung mircos 2gb)
What else could be wrong ?
Cold Booting Text
Hello,
I used the unbricker and everything seems to go fine, but when I get to the point to
"Put SD card to tablet .... etc ..."
I don't know what you mea with [Cold-Booting] text ???
- Is this the recovery menu of the tablet, after pressing Power and Vol+ ?
- Or is it the blue waves after the Sony startup logo ?
- Or anything else ?
I tried both of it and waited long, but nothing happens?
Can you please help me.
Thanks.
Hello,i bricked my xperia tablet s and i want to unbrick it but when i put samsung 16 gb class 10 micro sdhc with adapter tablet´s screen is black.(sorry for my bad english).Format of sd card is ntfs.
Won't recognize drive letter
Hi Fellas,
I tried the tool and it works fine until writing on SD. I tried a few but the problem is different.
The script says "invalid drive letter" but then begins to write on the SD Card.
Unfortunately Windows can't read the SD Card after the procedure - Windows wants it to be formatted again.
Therefore trying to boot the Tablet (SGPT1211 de/s) with the SD Card has no effect.
What can I do? Seems to be a small issue.
Thank you in advance!

Hi, my Xperia Tablet S was brick as yours and I tried since feww days to use the UNBRICKER too, unsuccessfully.
My boot was blocked on the SONY logo then nothing happens.
And here is the miracle !!!
I found this topic :
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1687429
I downloaded the zip file related to my XPERIA Tablet S with the good region (FR for me)
Then I put this zip file on a SD card, renamed it in update.zip and insert it in my tablet.
I boot my tablet in recovery mode ( hold vol+ button, maintain the hold, hold and release the power button, still maintaining vol+ button and when the menu appears release the vol+ button.
choose to boot update from SDcard then choose the update.zip file and yeeeeeeeeeeeees ! It works for me !
Be carefull to choose the right zip file !!!
Enjoy
