ZV8 (Lollipop) Kernel - Sprint LG G3

Hey all
Just wondering is there any kernel for ZV8 with extra features yet?

Gonna take some time as @engine95 said. Lollipop isn't like previous versions.

Steps to prepare for stock 5.0 update?

I have rooted my G3 but I'm still using the stock recovery. What steps will I need to take to be able to do the OTA for Lollipop when it happens? I don't want to do any custom Roms just yet.

But understand that the 5.0 OTA may be very difficult to root. Personally, I'll wait to see what the experiences of others are, and hope for a pre-rooted versiom of 5.0.

[Q] Preparing for 23c ROMs

Quick background: I'm a new LG G3 owner and I've been rooting and ROMing with three previous phones going back to the OG Droid but only by following the awesome work of developers. I'm currently on the 12b build which is what the phone came with and I've rooted and installed a custom recovery.
At some point I'll try a LP Rom but I'm not quite ready yet. I was wondering if I should go ahead and flash the 23c modem and kernel now while I'm still on KK. Would that cause an issue? If that would be an issue, when would I flash those in the upgrade process?
As a side note, does anyone have a recommendation as to which LP ROM is most stable? I like customization (which the LG UI doesn't have enough of), but I value full functioning and stability more.
Thanks in advance for any help and I apologize if this info is already posted; I've been searching and reading for hours
You can't use the 23C kernel or modem on 12B.
ROMs usually include kernels so when you flash a ROM, it'll include whatever kernel's needed. I could be wrong but I think the stock LG Lollipop ROMs that have been released include the modem, too.
If they don't, flash the modem after you flash a 23C ROM.
As far as what Lollipop ROM is most stable, that's personal preference. I use my own modified Odex'd.

Thanks for the help.

KitKat vs Lollipop?

My battered S4 is on its last legs, so I'll probably replace it with an S5. TMo lists it as coming with 4.4.2, but has an update to 5.0 available. So two questions: have you guys found any real advantages to using Lollipop? And if I gave it a go & liked KK better, can I revert back? Thanks!
I am sticking with KK for only 1 reason is that i am using "Safe Areas" app that its only work KK or 5.1 since 5.0 has a bug that it cant work well with it.
To revert from Lollipop to KK if i dislike it, yup gotta to have custom recovery/rooted and i dont update bootloader to OB1 (lollipop of an official firmware) its still on KK. I think when ya update bootloader to OB1 become to non-revert to KK.
Thank you, sir. It's good to know I can try both without having to commit to either one, at least initially.

Updating Rom

Hi, it been a long time since I have been on here. I'm running 4.4.2 stock based Rom and want to upgrade to SD or Jasmine and not sure which is more stable. There is too much to read between the to roms so if someone can help that would be great.
As far as I know, both and also @xdabbeb 's VS985 ROM are all just as stable as stock 35B / LG Android 5.1.1 since they're all based on it. I never experienced any more or less stability on one versus another versus 100% unrooted stock, which I was on recently after the 35B OTA came out and we couldn't figure out how to be able to downgrade to re-root at first.
