Having an issue with this error too when phone initially starts up. I'm also unable to download anything from the market now. I can pull an app up and click on install and it says its downloading but nothing happens.
Last things I did was the lag fix and deleted some bloatware apks.

That also happened to me after deleting bloatware! One or more of the removed apps is causing the error after bootup and the Market not downloading apps problem..
I only deleted files that someone in another thread said were OK to delete.....
Did you guys removed the email.apk too??

LOL you guys deleted "Google Talk" while you thought you were deleting bloat-ware. Here is a little lesson well learned. Do not delete anything unless you know what the hell you were doing. I have the files you guys need on my computer somewhere. I will attach them as soon as I fend them. Until then do NOT delete anything else.

I didn't; but now I do know which apps where causing it!!!!! Thanks to jrwingate6 for the heads up and the link for the apps. I had already fixed mine by installing all the apps back. I just didn't know which one/ones where the root cause of the problems!

I am new here learning how to tweak my Atrix and such. I recently installed the Neutrino v2.2 GT ROM by notorious and it is a fabolous ROM. Very fast and smooth but there is one problem that I cannot afford to have. My calendar stopped working. Every time I try to open it, it just force closes instantly. Does anyone know what the cause of this is?

No, it hasn't worked ever since I flashed the ROM. And I did add the sync addon and the google addon too. Everything works perfectly except the calendar.
I would try fixing permissions and seeing of that works. Or PM Notorious with the question. I searched the thread but no one else is having that problem.

Hmm, well I went into Recovery and fixed permissions, still FCs though.
Sorry! Nevermind, I finally fixed it! I just had to go into Titanium Backup and uninstall Calendar and Calendar Provider and reinstall them. They work perfectly, thank you for trying to help though! I

Alright so this was the first time that I'm adding a ROM to my HTC EVO 3D. This is because I was sick of the battery running out so quickly. I searched for a ROM that would be the most stable and found viperROM to be listed as the most suitable. The rooting process along with the installation of the ROM worked out beautifully. Lots to learn about viperROM. Anyways, the reason I am posting this is because a couple apps are crashing on it and I was wondering if there was some way I could tweak it to make it work better, or if there was a substitute app I could install. The first (worst) one that is crashing is "Google Search". Crashes every time I open it. Any suggestions? Another app that I've had issues with is "Alarm Clock Plus". Every once in a while the app will force close as I am setting an alarm. I'd love to hear some feedback, this is the first time I'm posting on an android forum and would like to learn as much as possible about it! Thanks a lot!

Thanks for the page but it seem that the links are broken on that post. I actually fixed it, somehow. I went into recovery and wipe all the data that way (having difficulty installing viperROM Redline v2.5 RC2, but I will make a new post on that!)

I tried uninstalling and installing from store. used a backup from the last rom. All i get is

I keep trying to send a group text which gets converted to MMS and I get a message stating that it can't send it right now but will send it when service becomes available. I am on wifi but never had this problem with Alliance Rom. Do I need to change a setting? I'm using stock messaging. Could it be that I am using a different kernel other than stock?

I have heard other users report that issue before with 3rd party kernels in the main thread. I have tried the function on the stock rom (granted quite a while ago) and it did work perfectly. I would try flashing the stock kernel and see if the issue persists.
Didn't see there was this [email protected] forum. Awesome. I'm on v8. When I try to view pictures via stock gallery they won't auto rotate. Wondering if I'm missing something. Thanks

One thing though. My device isnt recognizing my speech. Is there a basic setting im missing? Google now settings are all setup.

I use an application called stop log, for some reason it removes the "android upgrading " at boot for me.. just saying..

Try going to Settings/Language and Input/Voice Search and make sure that everything is enabled. On a side note, if you updated to the latest leaked lollipop version of Google Now or the launcher, Ok Google functionality is broken.

I just answered this in the main thread, it has to do with an init.d script running, check the main rom op.

All enabled, I installed The Xposed Framework and Xposed Installer from your bundle, could that have messed it up?
Voice recognition works if I open the Google Search app and press the mic, also "Hi Galaxy" isn't working for Hands Free Mode.

I chose Google Launcher from the install menu when I setup the ROM, maybe that did it? I uninstalled it and restarted, still nothing.

Well if you are refering to OK Google command, make sure that you have the search widget on your home screen or you can enable the ok google anywhere option in Google now settings. Xposed by itself and any of the included mods should not really effect anything depending (of course) on what mods that you have installed. If You want t troubleshoot than just uninstall the xposed framework from the xposed settings and reboot. You can always just reenable it with the touch of a button. Of course the last case senerio that I would recommend is doing a full wipe (data, system, cache and dalvik) and doing a fresh install. That should definately fix the issue as long as its not hardware related (your phone itself).

I tried enabling from any screen, when it prompts me to say Ok Google 3 times it doesn't recognize it. So yeah, I'll try a fresh re-install.

Did a fresh wipe and install, still doesn't work. Worked fine on my STOCK rom.

There are NO options to set as for my files to download and I will NOT let it download to C:/ drive just in case it opens a backdoor to allow viruses onto my computer. Call me paranoid all you want too.
Is it being hosted on any other sites that I can control what gets installed and where? Even Pirate Bay allows you to save files wherever you want too. I'm not asking for much. Just dont want my main drive to get whacked by some crap that I have to install just to download files "over 1GB in size you need our extension" . Ummmmm no I don't. Just download the file and allow me to put it where I want to put it. Thats all.

The original thread for the mod is here. It stop working since Nougat. I forked the source code sharing by tkgktyk and updated to make it compatible with Nougat.
You can use it as before now.
Most of the functionalities, including slide down, small screen, moveable screen and etc., works. However, the status bar still doesn't work now. I will continue working on it.

So I generate my own signature to sign it using Android studio.

I can reproduce your issue now. The root cause is I didn't sign the app correctly. In the next release, I will fix this issue and also bring back the status bar feature. Stay tune.

Just seen you updated in OP and try to download, VirusTotal Scan, Install, Testing.
VirusScan still show as Trojan (I'm not sure it's a false positive or not)
but this time I can install. Enable module > Reboot.
and yeah ! it's working.

I tried forcing it with some apk installer app and it installs, but I can't actually toggle the mode in any way.
Any ideas? Am I missing something? Any logs I could provide?
I just installed the newest Xposed and Gravitybox works so it shouldn't be an Xposed issue.
"One-Handed Mode for all devices" somewhat works but its kinda buggy while the xda one handed mode is completely unusable :crying:

thanks a lot for your work, I was desperately looking for something like that for my OnePlus 5T which is lacking a one handed mode. I experience the same graphical issues with telefon/contacts App which are not that bad - what I don't like though is that the one handed mode doesn't work in Chrome at all. Anyone got an idea why or gets the same?
I tried to use Slide down as well as Small Screen but in Chrome just nothing happens.
Also I can't attach it to the Home Button because it seems to interferes with other functions (in apps) - with the "last Apps"-Button it works well so I'm using this one atm!

I'm also on 4.7.6 but the Magisk Xposed module didn't work for me, the Xposed installer told me there was no framework installed so had to flash the zip manually.
And yes, I redownloaded the File from the OP several times, still can't open it.
But since it seems to be buggy anyway I guess I'm just gonna wait a bit longer before making my final decision and see if someone finds a fix, but I don't have high hopes anymore at this point

I agree with the XDA one handed mode. It's not that usable. So I get back toNiwatori as soon as Exposed works on Nougat.
I assume there should not be install issue with my updated link. Could you share me the information of the file you downloaded?

For the graphical issue, tkgktyk has solution in the original project. But he didn't enable it as default. I will work on it when I find some time. Actually, it's not a real issue. It doesn't stop you using anything, isn't it:laugh:
By the way, you can call me Ben. I guess OP is my phone's brand, OnePlus. I don't know why XDA put OP there. I would like to have a signature here, but I don't know how to. I'm a XDA fan for quite some time. But only start posting recently.

It looks like you use installer that not support systemless Xposed.
You can try to use Xposed Installer by dvdandroid
and download systemless by topjohnwu (Magisk's Dev)
Now It should work.

Yea, that's probably it. I haven't really done much with all the "new" systemless stuff, since the ROM on my old phone basically gives me everything I need out of the box. Gonna try that on the weekend. :good:

Also I can't attach it to the Home Button because it seems to interferes with other functions (in apps) - with the "last Apps"-Button it works well so I'm using this one atm!

Yeah, home button is tricky with finger print function. I'm using pie control from gravity box.
For the chrome issue, I don't have in my room. Chrome works pretty well. You my try the latest version to see if it works on your side.

New version (0.5.0) seem to cause this issue.
My background turn to white when disable modulemy background revert to old one.

No, not yet. Xposed module doesn't release the stable version. I don't move to it. So maybe later.
