It shows up as installed with 0.0KB meaning it is installed but it is not there. Try finding the apk somewhere and install it as a third-party app.
I am trying to find a way to disable or at least password protect installation of apps on an epic touch running ics. I can easily lock the play store on the phone, but can then install apps using the pc or downloading the apk. I also have app protector pro which allows me to lock certain android processes, but locking the package installer with that app doesn't work (only keeps me from uninstalling). Any ideas would be appreciated.

Does anyone know the package name of Samsung apps? Is it the same as Google Play? I've disabled app installation from Unknown Sources but I'm still able to run Samsung Apps and download/install apps from it.

Hi everyone,
I have android app installed in my device I cannot update/ uninstall or even use it.
I want to use the new version of the app.
I’m thinking to change the package name to be able to install and use the app.
I tried apk editor but unfortunately when I open the app I go error message and app closes.
Please help me to install the app
