Has anyone else had weird issues after getting the new market update? I'm running stock thunderbolt, and after getting the new market, the web browser and camera have been having issues where they seem to refresh constantly. In the browser, it looks like the notification bar keeps coming up, constantly taking focus away from what ever field i'm in. The camera is the same, except instead of the notification bar, it just keep refreshing, not allowing you to take a picture or use a menu.
When I uninstall the update for the market, the problem goes away, but, it comes back again soon after, as the market updates itself in the background. Any fixes for this or anyone else having the same issues?
Has anyone else had a problem with the Skype app crashing all the time? Every time I use it it will crash and return to the desk top telling me the app crashed and with the "ok" button and the "report" button but I am still able to talk for a few minutes. I have continued to send the report when the app crashes telling them the app will just crash while talking, have un installed and re installed multiple times, but it keeps happening. I was just talking to my mom and it happened 3 times. I am just talking and the app will crash. This is seriously the worst app I have every used on android. I googled skype app problems and while mine didn't come out there we many others. So has anyone else had this problem and now how to fix it?
Hello,
from some time I get occasionally, mostly at phone reboot, weird notifications in status bar which have facebook or google play logo. Any move I do to get rid of it ends with downloading, but I don't know what. It usually has a cartoon astronaut logo and lots of chinese characters and downloading bar. Download ends at 40-60% and nothing happens. I cannot localize anything weird in memory and background processes, no new apps, spam, or services.
Of course I didn't download anything suspicious or Facebook or any stupid game. It came up by itself. I hade same apps I always had on previous android phones and nothing like that happened ever. I get my S2 from someone else but at first I flashed 2.3.6 GB, stock official one. Then I rooted it and get RootAppDelete to get rid of some stuff. I don't use Facebook so it was uninstalled quickly.
Anyone has the same thing?
Look at the white place:
I tried to Google this but just kept getting results about what phones have what Rom updates and how to update apps.
The recent updates to the Trillian app are pretty terrible, I and many others are choosing to stick with the older version. Problem is I have many apps installed on this phone. Thanks to that update I am no longer able to hit "UpdatecAll" as I do not want the Trillian app to update, so I am forced to manually open the page for each app that has an update and update them one-by-one. A very annoying and tedious processes, especially since if I wait so much as a week there can be up to 20 updates to install.
Is there any way I can somehow block this one app from being updated or put it on a no update lust or something?
I don't like to have my apps auto-update.
Is there really no way to do this?
I would really like to know this too...
Hi all.
Now recently I've been getting this really strange popup always asking me to download 360 Security, it randomly pops up on the home screen. I haven't downloaded any dodgy apps recently or downloaded anything off the web. I've tried various Virus/Malware software and don't find anything. I downloaded some Adpush apps some crashed midway and some found apps that I've used for ages to be the problem.
I deleted some apps that I thought might cause the problem but it still happens. It's slightly worrying and no idea how to get rid of it.
I have an image of my problem which right now I cannot link
Thanks,
Chewy
