[Q] Unwanted wake-up by low battery alarm - Samsung Gear S

Hello from France,
Bought that watch 2 weeks ago and very happy excepted one thing.
When you want to monitor your sleep the watch say that you will switch to "do not disturb" mode. Nice don't want to be wake up by a new mail or sms notification.
BUT...the watch waked me up with a low battery alarm the first one at 15%
Why let this type of alarm go through the "no disturb" mode whereas it a sufficiant battery level to finish the night and plug it to charge on the morning ?
Did i missed an option in the menu ?
Thanks in advance for informations

Alarm

Is there a way of turning my phone off at night as it charges and have my alarm clock set to a time lets say 9 Am. And at 9AM my phone will turn on and alarm will ring? is there any program or way of doing this.. thanks!
it sounds like you don't want to be bothered with late night annoying calls and text messages. some phones if you set the alarm and turn the phone off the alarm will wake up the phone and in return wake you up as well. not the raphael. so take this approach.
Set your alarm for whatever time you want to wake up. Then go to your 'Settings Tab' and click 'Phone Off'. Why do this?
- it's going to save all of the text messages you receive at night
- it will let you have full function outside of your internet and receiving/calling ability
- your phone is actually off to everyone else but you. its like your invisible.
hope that helps

Airplane mode bug?

Hello and Happy New Year to everybody!!
I recently started using my Hero as an alarm. Thus, while I am sleeping I set it to airplane mode so that the alarm rings. When I wake up it always shows a notification that the time zone has not been set. Rebooting the phone is the only way to fix it, except -of course- if I manually set it... Could this be a bug?

Alarm wont take G Tablet out of sleep mode.

I received my tablet a couple weeks ago and I have flashed Harmony Gingerbread rom onto it. I have been very very happy with it so far but I have noticed one thing. The alarm clock is not working correctly.
I have the alarm clock programmed for 630AM in and I put my G Tablet onto the malata dock. Like normal after a short amount of time the screen will turn off. However when 630AM rolls around my alarm on my tablet wont go off. (I have my archos 70 alarm clock set just in case the alarm on the G Tab didn't work) When I hit the power button on my G Tab the screen comes up and then the alarm will start going off (however many mins later than 6:30am)
It seems as if the alarm clock does not force the G Tablet out of sleep mode. Where on my Archos 70 the alarm does force the tablet out of sleep mode.
Has anybody else had issue with this and/or know a fix for this?
Thanks,
Aawa
I use Calkulin's ROM with pershoot's kernel. I have my email set to check every 5 minutes, and wifi set to never sleep. I don't know if this helps keep the tab awake or not (results in about a 10% loss of battery overnight), but I tested the alarm for two mornings and both times it went off.
I wouldn't rely on it though.

I know that there has been issues with people having sleep issues with the dock. Try taking your tab out of the dock and see if that will allow the alarm to go off as it should.
Other than that, make sure that you are on the latest kernel by which ever kernel dev you prefer, as they are both continually updating with the latest-greatest...
Same thing here,
Not even having the dock with stock ROM. Device will not wake from sleep on events for what ever events they can be.
Let me know if any solutions,
Charles
I have the exact same problem. I posted on the Q&A side and didn't get much response. I did, however, find a fix that involves an app called Load Monitor. It can be set up to prevent the tablet from entering what they call "deep sleep".

My alarm has gone off correctly the past three mornings (using App Alarm set to open Pandora).
follow-up
OK,
I think I found something related to this issue, when I turn OFF the screen time out, the alarm come on however, I have no sound. BTW this seemd to be calendar related only. I tried all combination of sounds settings and nothing works.
I will try with the alarm clock to see how it goes.
Lets see with the next patch.

I still haven't been able to get this to work correctly. I installed App Alarm and Load Monitor last night and it didn't go off this morning. I will see if i made any configuration mistakes and see if that works.
Did you go to Load Monitor preferences put checks in "Add Notification," "Auto Start," and "Wake Lock," and then change "Update Interval" to 5 minutes?
Apparently I didn't have Wake Lock checked. I just changed that and will be testing it out.
Thanks for the advise!
Ran into this issue this morning after updating to Ginger Edition 7 RC1 last night. It worked great on Vegan 5.1.1 but not after the update. Good thing I am paranoid about oversleeping. I will check out the load monitor app as well.
I installed load monitor and tested the alarm before I went to sleep. It appeared to work as the screen had locked and the alarm went off. It went off on schedule this monring but I hit snooze and the entire tablet was powered off when I woke up 30 minutes later.
I solved my problem
Since reading all the posts here that people were leaning towards wifi being the problem I remembered seeing wifi setting having something called wifi behavior under advanced settings, while I was poking around my new tablet. I went to it and there is an option where you tell the wifi never to sleep. That seems to have done the trick. It has worked both plugged in and on battery. The battery drained from 75% to 65% from 10:30 last night to six this morning. Hope it helps
Just noticed I posted on the wrong thread. I meant to put it on the g tab won't. Wake after sleep thread but I guess. It could be a related issue.

Possible Bug with Movie Mode?

Does anyone else have the issue that I found to have this morning? Put my daily alarm on my watch as per usual, and put the watch into movie mode (so it doesnt keep turing on all the time when asleep - or trying to sleep!), and no alarm will go off. Even once only set alarms will just dissapear at the set time.
I have also alarm wich do not fire. And the new defaut alarm in V5 are "one shot". So do not fire and are erased at schedule time because is "one shot". So Wear BUGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG
It's quite annoying but found a way around it. Use the wear app on your phone to turn off screen and turn off tilt to wake screen. Alarm still goes off ok.

[Q] Disable full charge notification ?

Even in "do not disturb" mode, the screen still lights up during middle of the night when fully charged
My previous phones solved this problem by using xposed, but i don't think it's available for s6 yet
Just wondering if there's alternative way to disable full charge notification
to be more accurate, I don't mind the notification, I just don't want the screen lights up during middle of the night.
appreciate helps
cheers
I use Gentle Alarm for my alarm app, and it includes a function to ignore some (or all) notifications that works great for this purpose.
