184 Build, anyone have this on their phone? - Huawei Ascend Mate 2

I asked a question on a huawei site and the tech said I need the 184 build. When I check my phone my last 3 digits for build are 148 so I'm thinking maybe they are just mixing up the numbers. Can anyone see their build and tell me if they have 148 or 184? They said that would fix my camera issue. Before I wipe my phone and do hard reset I'm curious if they know what they are saying. Thanks guys/gals

yup, mine is B148. I think they messed up the numbers.

B148 on my L03 also.

Confirm I have 148 ...

Add one more to the list. I've done multiple factory resets to no avail.
Additional info as FYI
Purchased from Best Buy
Actual serial number ends with 32919
Shows up here too, and match the label near charge port, mine from BB
so far there are 3 of us with no serial number and no OTA and at least 2 of the 3 bought from best buy
Mine`s a champagne from Abt
ive had several posts about this and i do correlate not being able to get ota updates because it is showing serial number unknown. Mine is a US unit bought from best buy.
I really hope mine doesn't have this problem... I ordered mine from best buy and it should be here sometime today..

I bought mine from Gamestop and I don't have a serial number as well and no OTA updates either.
Well looks Like we solved this mystery as to why some can't get ota updates ....now for the person who solves this puzzle they will get a nice shiny reward!
I wouldn't mind if mine had this problem. I never accept ota updates after i am rooted anyway. And if you have no serial number what will Asus copy to void your warranty when you use their bootloader unlocker.

We have a serial on box and outside of tablet but not in the actual about tablet area under settings. Not a big deal not to be able to do ota updates but it may delay us getting ics which sucks.

Yeah, not getting OTA-update is not a problem. But the waiting time until they put the latest firmware on their server is annoying.
I think everybody who has the problem should write Asus. It's the only way that they will start to look into this.
Have any of you tried to update via a microSD card?
The procedure is here.
note: the document ("Updated Version of SOP(English)") references TF101, but was present in the "manuals" section for the TF201 at support.asus.com.

The problem is asus hasn't posted the newest firmware. If someone with root could just get us the latest zip from their updated prime we would be able to update via sd card.

Nothing yet in Spain :S
If anyone is on an AT&T phone and installs this let us know if tethering works or not.
It would be nice if it's there in this update.
nothing here too in Saudi Arabia both in my HD7 t-mobile brand & HTC Titan UK...
Hello,
I think this update will start to be released next week (for all equipments)
Maybe HTC launches a new firmware update with this new build too.
Thanks,

I think this is just an HTC update. My OS version is still 7.10.7740.16.
@Rickgig, tethering worked before this update. You just have to pay for it.

The OS version on my AT&T HTC Titan is 77.10.7720.68 Your manual update seems like it pretty easy to do I was wondering if I wanted to try this then roll back how would I do that since your file don't have the version my phone has?
Also, do you happen to know if this new version or any newer version takes care of the random power cycling/reboot that occurs like 1 or 2 times every 12-18 hours? My phone seems a little better now that I uninstalled the HTC apps (except for the HTC version of Tango video chat software since that is made for the Titan) hope that these updates take care of that too.

Hello,

Hey guys,
Just updating you all on this if you haven't already read the Windows phone blog today.
They have mentioned in their blog that this update and the future 'maintenance updates' will fix more than the change log just to maintain any issues raised by the carriers. However, these maintenance updates will only be released to carriers that ask for it. So if your carrier did not ask for this maintenance update or anything else in future you won't get these kind of small maintenance updates. I am going to manually update my phone today as mine is SIM free and my carrier will never get me any maintenance updates.
I will post back if I see anything noticably different. I would however recommend that if you feel confident, then go for manual update as your carrier might or might not have asked Microsoft for the update. The reason I understand is these maintenance updates once applied require your carrier to put their crap back on your phone. Some carriers happily will do it and others will take long time to re-do their crap on the phone, which means you get update later than the world. I do appreciate MS's approach regarding maintenance update, but it's a shame we have some lazy carriers supplying network to windows phone!
I am thinking of doing the manual update as well. Would you indeed be so kind to post the result? I am curious!

Serial Number

Hello, wish you have a good time.
I've got a Huawei g750 t-01. Once I updated it to android 4.4.2 and now its serial number seen in setting > about phone is different from the one labelled on the back of the device beneath the battery.
Is it the way it should be or... ?
Thanks in advance.
Sent from my HUAWEI G750-T01 using XDA Forums
Shouldn't happen, may have been different when you got your device, but if you're sure it was the same prior to update then I would be suspicious of that update, was it direct from oem?

Can't remember whether it was the same before the update.
And I updated the device via recovery mode.
Sent from my HUAWEI G750-T01 using XDA Forums
Its real unlikely the update changed the serial number, I would assume it was either tampered with if you bought it used or a mistake from factory

Thank you for the answer.
So, would I face any problems?
If I wanna contact the company, is my phone a valid one?
Sent from my HUAWEI G750-T01 using XDA Forums
Its valid as it works but if you have issues down the road there could be warranty issued. If you purchased direct through the oem or official supplier you should be OK, if you bought through a 3rd party like eBay you may not. Either way just hope for a problem free phone

CM13 unable to send sms with two sim cards

Hi,
I am using cm13 and have two sim cards, same operator (home, office).
If used one at a time, I can send sms (smsc is correct).
If they are both inserted, they both fail.
Has anybody ever seen this?
Will try to get some logs tomorrow if I am not doing something stupid.
Unfortunately I do not have a sim card from another carrier to test right now, maybe the combination works.
Thanks!

Basically what is repeating is
11-06 09:23:24.018 W/MessagingApp( 9162): PhoneUtils.getForLMR1(): invalid subId = -1
11-06 09:23:24.018 E/MessagingApp( 9162): Get mms config failed: invalid subId. subId=0, real subId=0, map=[1, 2]
A few interesting things:
In the sim menu, my carrier Vodafone IT is "unknown".
The smsc can be read and updated only in slot 1.
I'll be able to do some better testing later.
Thanks!

That is why I was wondering if anybody else has two sims on the same carrier, and if theirs appear as "unknown" as well.
I am also coming form a clean install.
I will update asap, however there is really not much more to test.
Ii is already confirmed that it works with one sim at a time in either slot, so something is wrong with the combination.

Just remembered that while flashing for some reason my clock went back to day 1, which is Jan 1 1970, and that is the date on my system folder actually!
Could this be it?
I just want to see if I can avoid a reset because the android ID changes and it is a pain for my company email.
Edit: some folders are March 20 1970.
Don't think I could have caused that (assuming it might actually be an issue).
Is it only mine like this?
I took full twrp before and after cm, I hope they are not useless if the date was screwed up.

Have you turned on automatic date and time in Settings?
Sent from my Galaxy Tab 3 using XDA Labs
Yes. It is fine now, I took a backup and it is correct.
I probably took the twrp backup straight after flashing, without booting into the ROM and updating the date.
Besides the backups, the files were written with that date in the first place.
Possibly repeating with a valid date will correct it.
I took a full backup tonight, I'll probably try restoring my stock backup (which might not be ok) and reflashing cm all over.
The whole date thing might not even be related to the issue, but it appeared odd.

Stil nothing here in France, the latest update was 1 January and now we are Mars, no patch security. I'm so disappointed with Honor, this is my first and last phone.
Installed the update via FH.
All I've noticed is March security updates and now a recommended section in settings about Navigation Dock.
On UK version on Three UK.
