Flash a stock based kernel like the Philz kernel you will get a recovery along with it, restore nandroid backup.
Sent from my GT-I9100 using xda app-developers app
One more step, please!!!
Can someone tell me how to custom restore from my backup. My backup is 5 months old and don't want to totaly restore it with the recovery.
what options do I have to choose at the custom recovery screen?
1. The bootloader (I can enter into recovery mode but cannot boot normal). Am I gonna loose the recovery func? because when backed up didn't have it!
2. The kernel (To make the phone to boot into recovery I flashed the Philz kernel)
3. ex-tweaks start up values (This is what I mess, if I can restore the values from my backup everything will boot normal)
PLEASE!
Edit-
I try to restore the boot from my backup but error MD5 mismatch came up
Please help

How I fixed it:
After I was trying kernels from the date of my last backup, one worked. The only program until now missing was extweaks, so I first reset the profile from the recovery screen and then I installed it.
Everything works now
i had installed docdroid extreme custom rom in my device after that i tried to install jasp next level but after flashing with jasp . the device again rebooted in cwm mod . now its only rebooting in cwm i cant find zip file also of jasp the sd card shows nothing please help
Reflash CWM with Odin, this will solve your problem
I kind of have the same problem, except I messed with my build.prop file and now my phone is in a bootloop (stays on black screen after logo and vibrates every once in a while). The thing is, I don't have CWM, I just rooted to get Xposed modules. So do I flash CWM? Is it even possible without access to the android OS (to enable debugging mode)?!
THANKS
To flash CWM, you just need to have access to download mode. You can flash it and undo the changes on build.prop. But I think it will be easier if you reflash the firmware, since this will fix build.prop and keep all your data. Later then you root again to use Xposed

You could try to get your phone in download mode and flash the clockworkmod recovery you used for the backup via Odin. Then boot to recovery and restore the backup. Hope this helps.
