Even in "do not disturb" mode, the screen still lights up during middle of the night when fully charged
My previous phones solved this problem by using xposed, but i don't think it's available for s6 yet
Just wondering if there's alternative way to disable full charge notification
to be more accurate, I don't mind the notification, I just don't want the screen lights up during middle of the night.
appreciate helps
cheers
I use Gentle Alarm for my alarm app, and it includes a function to ignore some (or all) notifications that works great for this purpose.

Hello from France,
Bought that watch 2 weeks ago and very happy excepted one thing.
When you want to monitor your sleep the watch say that you will switch to "do not disturb" mode. Nice don't want to be wake up by a new mail or sms notification.
BUT...the watch waked me up with a low battery alarm the first one at 15%
Why let this type of alarm go through the "no disturb" mode whereas it a sufficiant battery level to finish the night and plug it to charge on the morning ?
Did i missed an option in the menu ?
Thanks in advance for informations
Hi!
Have XDA developers find out how to modify Samsung Gear Fit firmware? "Custon ROM" like on smart phones world.
I am interesting to have value where to set screen all time ON, but in dimming mode (using less battery energy of course). Gear Fit itself seems to have by default this dimming, but it is so short time, that it is only like animation or non useless feature. In house, in darkening vicinity, dimming screen display may work perfect
as on this post subject stays, I am interesting to modify or hack the time for notifications. Again Gear Fit have by default this feature for calendar alarm. The notification stay on screen for ever or as long you have juice on your battery. I like it, but for e-mail, Facebook Messenger, WhatsApp Messenger, SMS's etc. it would be nice, too. Now you get notification, but it goes off so short time. Second? Yep, too short time anyway.
I keep my phone on silent at night because I have a super jealous partner that freaks out if my phone dings or vibrates late at night. This isn't a problem when my screen is turned off, since the notification light comes on, but I use my phone for gaming, reading and watching movies/tv shows so the screen is on quite often and unless my notification bar is visible (which is usually not the case), I have no idea when I get a text/tweet/game notification/etc. So my question is this: Is there a trick or app out there that will make my notification light work even when the screen is turned on?
I'm still running the stock OS that came on the phone (4.3 I believe?) and I'm unrooted, however I'm not opposed to manually upgrading to 5.1 and/or rooting if necessary
Thanks in advance XD
I actually returned the Moto X Play because the LED notification light didn't work at all even though it's present on the phone. Motorola are a bunch of greedy assholes who want you to buy their "smart watch" just to get notifications now apparently, but that's a whole other topic. During my quest for an on-screen notification I found Light Flow, and I'm almost positive you'll find help with that.
I have the G5 on AT&T and my LED is not lighting up for for texts or notifications from downloaded apps even though I have it turned on in settings.
Is anyone else having this issue?
Try the Lightflow app.
Yeah apparently now my LED isn't coming on at all. I'm inclined to think it's defective. I'll have to return and exchange it which is annoying since I already attached the glass screen protector to it and everything.
There's a setting under Sound/Notification LED for "downloaded apps". If you're giving a third-party app LED control, make sure you leave that turned on. I turned it off and all my Light Flow notifications unsurprisingly stopped working.
Hello,
Does anybody know I to do the trick?
I have doze activated (aggressive) and whenever I receive a WhatsApp message it only shows the LED blinking.
Since my phone is usually either in my pocket or inside an opaque cover, the LED blinking is not practical for me. I would like to combine doze with vibrating notifications.
Regards,
Javier
