I tried CF-Root-SGS3-v6.4 too ,it worked
if it doesn't install, reflash with auto reboot unticked, after the flash boot into recovery and this should trigger the installation.....as stated in chainfires thread

Hello, welcome to XDA.
You need to flash some compatible firmware using Odin or flash the JellyBam ROM again using the CWM. Did you try any of this methods?
You can find firmwares here: sammobile.com.

How should I recover if my recovery is stuck in flash loop?
Odin-flash a stock, boot it, get twrp on it through fastboot, flash a ROM. Should work.

Do you mean stock rom? Could I just flash CWM recovery through Odin like I did before when rooting my phone?

I managed to get into recovery but I didn't have any spare ROMs.
CWM can't mount my external SD too.

I have galaxy the 920x (the demo version) and I tried to flash twrp viauOdin. Everything worked but after restart it stucks at the Galaxy logo. Now I downloaded a full stock firmware and tried to flash via Odin and every time it fails at flash nand. Any help? Can I do something about it?

i also have the same problem with 920x (the demo version) i did the same wey
Yes of course. Everything is fine and it does the first steps but it fails at writing the nand. Does anyone have a PIT file? Maybe that way it can be fixed. I think the pit is wrong and Odin addresses a wrong area of the nand memory.

Damn, i have the same issue, after flashing the TWRP recovery image with Flashify, my phone is stuck at the splash screen "Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge", i tried to flash the root file with the stock recovery (the 920f one), and my phone doesn't boot... So i also tried to flash a stock firmware through Odin and i have the nand fail error ! Hope that we'll have a solution quickly.
Maybe there is a way to read the nand structure of 920x. That might help solving the problem.

Problem solved but i have a 925f not a 920x :/
It's the demo version for the Edge or for the normal S6 ?
You need to flash the right firmware for the right version through Odin.
do you guys tried odin the stock recovery 1st?
Where can I find the stock recovery?

Ok for what its worth it:
the follwoing files can write the nand:
CF-Auto-Root-zeroflte-zerofltexx-smg920f.tar.md5
twrp-2.8.6.0-zerofltespr.img.tar
But the phone doesnt go into recovery, eventhough the setup processes is successful.
The following files however, can not write to nand and fail:
G920FXXU1AOD9_G920FOXA1AOD9_G920FXXU1AOD9_HOME.tar.md5
G920F-XXU1AOD9-BOOTLOADER.tar.md5
Maybe it helps a little.
But the phone cannot boot anything but the download mode.

CF-Auto-Root-zeroflte-zerofltexx-smg920f.tar.md5 ---> International Version
twrp-2.8.6.0-zerofltespr.img.tar ----> TWRP for Sprint S6
now does those files compatible with your phone? I know u said you have galaxy the 920x (the demo version) but I really can't tell you does those files work with your phone or not, may be not that's why your phone is soft brick right now.
Maybe but the first file I flashed and which made the phone stuck at the logo was the root file. I tried the other files to solve the problems. But still usually it should let me flash a original file from Samsung servers but it doesn't. Nand write error.

have you solved it ...?? facing same problem
I have the same with my G925F, used the howto-flash-g92xf-and my phone doesn't boot only the splash screen
download kies 3 and then plug your device in, go to tools at the top and then firmware upgrade and initialisation, enter sm-g925f in the model number and then when it asks for your serial number then enter it from the back of the phone. (its in really faint writing) then follow the onscreen instructions
sometimes people have select reactivation lock in Samsung account and that block flash

Have the same problem dont know what to do, anyone can solve the problem. I flash the root file with odin it give me an error, then a screen of warning to start the phone with smart switch, try to flash stock fw, and Im here blocked, please help, thanks.
You can try this guys, It worked for me, but the "secret codes" on phone app won't work (doesnt for me). If anyone find a way to solve this, it would be great!!!

Hi
I have a Samsung Galaxy Edge SM-G950F, sim free, running 5.1.1
I decided to root using Odin
Ive used Odin many times to root several Samsung devices before so now how to use.
This time though i had issues, I used Odin 3.10 for the first time, normally use 3.09, and the AP was CF-Auto-Root-zerolte-zeroltexx-smg925f.tar
Every was fine until phone rebooted, Odin said success, but phone got stuck in boot. Couldnt go into recovery, only download mode.
After trying to flash in firmware again, no success, finally managed to get Smart Switch to reinstall firmware and reset device. Phew.
Now my questions are, was the problem Odin 3.10? Was Auto-Root wrong? Is it me?
Im obviously reluctant to try rooting again, is Odin 3.09 a more stable version and will work or whats the best way to root.
Thanks for any help
i'm not sure but i remember that cf auto root i'snt for 5.1.1, but only for 5.0.2
You Flash twrp recovery and root the device
