I have gone through many posts to find out how to install TWRP and rooting the Galaxy S6 Edge G925F.
I have so far found 2 methods:
1) Flashing Chainfire Auto Root file with Odin and then flashing TWRP recovery
2) Flashing TWRP with Odin and then installing Root file through TWRP

I am wondering which method works best as I am reading that some people are having issues with "No Deep Sleep" and bootloops.
Can I do which is the best TWRP file for G925F?

Hello
Recently while installing programmes on S5830, I confronted bizarre problems. I set to track the cause and found out that CWM 5.0.2.6 and the rooting software named SuperSU are in a bad conflict:
If CWM 5.0.2.6 had been installed first, when I tried to install Root.zip or Root_Cooper.zip, rooting did not take place because these two install SuperSu.
On the other hand, if I had rooted the system via above-mentioned zips or any rooting software which used SuperSU (like Wondershare MobileGo), and then I installed CWM 5.0.2.6, suddenly problems ensued such as clear button malfunctioning.
The solution is the following:
If you want both to use CWM 5.0.2.6 and to root your S5830 stock rom, JUST USE "SUPERONECLICK 2.3.3" TO ROOT IT.
I rooted my Galaxy S4 using: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2290798
Rootchecker shows root access. However, I cannot get TWRP or CWM to flash. I tried CWM through ROM Manager and TWR through GooManager. ROM Manager reports a good install but when I reboot to recovery it is stock recovery.
Any help would be appreciated.
Please tell me you're already read the (many) threads about basebands and build numbers and custom recoveries.

Plenty of threads about this but let me help you out here.
What build number are you on? Any build number other than MDK have no known way to flash a custom recovery due to a locked bootloader. However if you read into some of the safestrap threads you can install a select few modified roms built for SS. Look here for some help http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2441441 or use the search tool
Hi there!
My device is a Samsung Galaxy A5 (2015) SM-A500F.
I rooted it by flashing Chainfire's CF-Auto-Root file via Odin.
Now, every time I restart the phone, it boots into the recovery.
Is it how it really works? Is there any way to disable this feature?
Guys, I really need your help!
I was planning to Install a custom ROM on my s6 edge because in was network locked in Japan.
Everything went smoothly. I rooted it using CF auto root international and it worked fine but after installing TWRP using the Odin, it's stuck there.
Everytime it boots up, it goes to TWRP and the problem about dis is that the TWRP interface can't be touched. Yes, it's stuck on the "swipe to allow modifications".
Please guys. I really need your help.
Did you choose the right TWRP for your model ? No need to root to install TWRP . Did you try to flash TWRP again or start over by flashing your firmware and TWRP again ?
Maybe you didn't flash the right twrp image for s6 edge.. try to flash the right image . If nothing changed then you have to flash the entire Rom from the begin..
I recently purchased a Samsung Galaxy SII, GT-I9100 and have been trying to install LineageOS using this guide:
https://wiki.lineageos.org/devices/i9100/install
I'm at the point where I need to flash TWRP. I've downloaded TWRP 3.2.3.0 and using Heimdall, I'm able to successfully flash the image to my phone, Heimdall's output doesn't mention any errors. However, when I afterwards shut down the phone and then reboot to recovery mode, it's still the old stock recovery present.
I have spent the entire weekend trying to troubleshoot a ton of things and trying many suggested solutions, some not working, others throwing me further down the pit of despair. One of the things I've tried was to flash CF Root. My build number ends in KWMS2, so I've been trying to find a CF root build for that but the only thing I found was this post:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s2/help/cf-root-download-ms2-t2880023
Which then had a link to SuperSU which I sideloaded with adb, but that didn't do anything. I also found this post:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=35682278&postcount=4
And flash the CF Root image, but that also didn't help with TWRP. I've also looked at the CF Root site but it doesn't list the GT-I9100 and Firmware.Mobi lists all i9100 versions as incompatible with CF-Auto-Root (which I'm assuming is the same as CF Root).
So because of all the trouble I've had, I'm now stuck with a phone that can boot into download and recovery mode, but can't actually boot into Android and that won't install TWRP for some odd reason.
I hope someone can tell me, in detail, what I'm supposed to do to get TWRP to actually work and not just being flashed, because I'm at my wits end.
Follow this guide (the post literally one below yours!) and you will be up and running in no time.
