Hello everyone,
I have a Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge G925FXXU1AOCV that I bought in Portugal.
I want to root it without tripping knox, so I tried PinPing Root but when I click the "Get Root!" button, the circle spins for about 5 seconds and then reboots automatically, and then I have no root (checked that by entering the SuperSU , it says that there is no SU binary installed).
The built number is listed in the PinPong root thread as working, but mine isn't.
What do I have to do?
Thanks,
TM
SOLVED:
Needed to turn off knox security

Please do your Google search , before making topic next time ( your choice though , I would provide support anyway ^:^) .
Galaxy toolbox from play store will unlock network lock/sub network lock/SP lock/CP lock in sequence and will Reset your custom binary download counter to zero.
Attach your device info of the app here before unlocking process, and kindly back up your EFS </sdcard/GalaxyToolbox/"EFSpart.img.SAVE" put a copy of the file some place safe inside your PC >
Proceed with unlock process at your own risk mate , and attach the aftermath device info here , if you have succeeded for future reference .

I want to root my Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime I have tried rooting it using both KingoRoot and KingRoot but it bricked my device, it said "Custom Binary Blocked By FRP Lock" luckily I was able to get a new one. Now i have a new Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime this one is carrier unlocked. Is SM-G530T1 the same as SM-G530T? Do i use Odin3 v3.10.7 or Odin3 v3.10.6? Do I enable OEM Unlock? Please someone give me a step by step guide on rooting my device without it getting bricked.
Ive tried nearly every root software and there either was no strategy, doesnt work, or the root says it completes but actually doesn't root it(SNSRoot). Any strategies that work?
use cf-auto-root but not sure if it's same as your carrier
First of all I'm Brazilian, I've tried all the topics of my country to make root in other models, in the model of my cell phone, in foreign topics and nothing! I tried all TWRP by odin with bootloader turned on, off, with debugging turned on all the same and it does not always come up an error in download mode "Custom Binary (RECOVERY) Blocked By FRP Lock" written in green, as if there was a lock being That the bootloader is unlocked, I already tried all possible root apps and nothing , I really need to root it because it has little space, help me what could be? I heard it could be Samsung KNOX but I do not know disable it, Thanks. :good:
