HTC one M7 (AT&T)
Unlocked rooted with TWRP
S-On HBOOT 1.44
I am having an issue updating apps + installing apks.
It keeps telling me i dont have enough space and to uninstall some apps to free up some.
I have 32 gb total.....only 17 gb used......so why does it keep giving me that error?
HTC one M7 AT&T does not support external storage & it is sealed with no removable back panel.
I have searched around and tried all most of the methods out there and still same issue.
Please give me some guidance as to how to resolve this issue.
Thanks in advance. :highfive:

Just tried to upgrade my firmware to 2.1 on my hero and got the "not enough space" and signed failed errors after download and restart. I have about 50 mb free on internal storage and 500 on sd. It's a 3uk hero unlocked running on orange ro. Can anyone assist me on going on with the ugrade. And also, will the phone be lockedon original carrier after a succsesful upgrade ?
Many thanks ahead.

I was wondering where all my storage has been going, After looking in htc logs in file manager I noticed it keeps writing HTCQXDM logs of 31mb each, There were at least 16 in the folder, Reserved space has also increased to over 3GB, Can anyone enlighten me as to why they are there and how to disable, As far as I can tell from searching this is some kind of Qualcomm Diagnostics?? Deleted HTC folder but it comes back and starts logging again.
Thanks in advance.
Am running Dynamics V2- 7.8 on an unlocked UK HTC Titan X310e
Oh well I will put it down as a mystery, Ended up flashing back to stock as didn't want to lose any more storage, Worth checking your htc folder if you are running a custom ROM in case it happens to you.
I'm sure this has been answered before, but I can't seem to find the info about the Desire 601.
I've got the US Virgin Mobile version. I haven't taken the time or effort to update to 4.4, so I'm sitll on 4.2 or whatever it came with. The phone is rooted.
I looked at the Storage section of the device and it lists "Other" taking up 3.77. Is the OS really that large!? Is there any way to shrink that size some?
When I go into the app DiskUsage it shows the internal memory as being only 4.787GB, with "System data" taking up 405MB, which is more what I'd expect Android itself to take up.
So again, is there any way to free up some of the 8GB of data? Would upgrading to 4.4 help? Should I flash a custom ROM?
The main reason I want to free space is to install certain games like GTA that don't let you install data to the external card. And yes, I've tried FolderMount. It didn't work great for me.
Thanks!
Get s-off in order to use the link2sd app. It works great
I tried Rumrunner and the other one with a similar name a while back and both failed. Left me with a "Bootloader tampered" or whatever the wording is.
Maybe I'll give it another shot, thanks!
When u unlock ur bootloader, it says that. Its ok. Follow the instructions carefully
Hi giuys i'm new in xda...
I've installed ARHD rom into my htc one m7 with the newest twrp recovery and i'm having some problems...
Before installing arhd i tried viper one mod but i didn't like so i decided to change mod and before doing it a wiped all my data...
Now, using arhd 93 mod, some apps crashes very often (google play services for istance) but the real problem is that i can't download anythink because it says i don't have any sd memory and my internal memory is full... Ok i don't have any sd external memory but my internal memory has got 20gb of free space, so, why i can't download any photo or theme or apk?? I can only download app from the Google play when it doesn't crash... Can you help me with this??
I've unlocked my bootloader and rooted my htc, i can easly join into recovery mod, what shoud i try??
If nobody knows can you give me a stock rom with lollipop and sense 6.0 or a really STABLE mod with no problems and no crashing apps with lollipop?? Thank you
Hi guys,
I notice it's pretty dead in here but I was hoping someone could help me out. My flatmate has a Desire 610 and he was unable update his youtube app as he had insufficient storage space remaining on his device. He said he started uninstalling updates to system apps to try free up some space. After doing this, the device doesn't seem to be able to play any sort of audio. As a result, this means he can't watch any videos (youtube just gives some error), and he can't make or receive calls (presumably because it's unable to play ringtones for incoming calls / the earpiece doesn't work for outgoing calls), however he is still able to send SMS. He was also unable to move apps to the SD card, which is why his storage was full in the first place.
He tried a factory reset but the problem remained. He then told me about the problem and, having owned 3 HTC devices in the past, I told him I would have a go at solving the problem.
First I unlocked his bootloader through HTCdev and flashed TWRP. I then performed a full nandroid backup and full wipe of all partitions. I flashed a deodexed version of the stock EU rom, as well as Jmz A3UL kernel to enable app2sd, and SuperSU. Everything went well, however strangely the audio issue remains.
It almost seems like the audio driver doesn't exist but how would this be possible with a clean flash? I was running out of ideas so I also flashed Viper4Android & Beats Audio driver to see if that would make any difference but of course it didn't.
Does anyone have any further suggestions?
I found the following thread where someone had the identical problem on an M8:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/htc-one-m8/help/htc-one-m8-sound-make-call-play-video-t3372758
We don't really want to spend $25 to achieve S-OFF, as that may not even solve the problem. I haven't tried Firewater S-OFF as I haven't read anywhere that it works with the Desire 610.
Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks
UPDATE: I ended up paying the $25 for sunshine to achieve S-OFF and sure enough, the sound has returned. No idea why that works but it does.
