Well, spoon feeding is frowned upon on XDA. Get with the big boys and do some work on your own first.
Maybe this will help get you started. http://forum.xda-developers.com/ascend-mate2/general/consumer-wireless-variant-t2888615
I've read all of the information about CC vs MT2L03, but don't understand if the hardware is IDENTICAL between the two devices why we can't simply image the CC as a MT2L03.

Maybe ask in the thread I linked to. There are more CC folks in there. I actually don't know the answer. I believe the CC stock rom is different from the Huawei stock rom. That means you have to go through different contortions to get the stock Huawei rom onto the CC. It can be done, though.
The beta test rom is made for the Huawei rom. To install the test you need to be at stock. I believe that is why it won't work. I am too lazy to do the research, though, because I don't have a CC and I really don't care.

They are the same. The CC version has a rom that has been slightly modified for CC. There is a post in the dev section for turning your cc into a stock mate two.

. . . and I am a living testament to that. I converted my CC into stock version 148 3+ months ago. As far as I can tell, I'm on stock and I specifically installed the stock rom just so that I'd be in the position to try L as it gets released. But we all know what happened .
It have a w.e they call it cc partition that have slightly different info compare to stock mate2. That prevent you from using stock mate2 updates and what not.

I would choose HTC as long as they keep it completely unlocked. They make great phones but it would be a shame if they lock it or they make us use their unlock method.
i have contacted a moderator to move it

Probably HTC as long as it's unlocked.
Though Samsung did a great job with the S2.
SE phones, while they have great potential, usually end up lacking. Not to mention it's a Sony product, high priced, ok to good quality.
With my experience with the Motorola Droids, I've hated them.
Either Ford or KFC. Probably KFC.
SonyEricsson.
I'd say Samsung but they have the current Nexus. Let someone else have a go now, and give the Nexus their personal touch.

Who in there right mind would choose motorola? Do i even need to explain why?
I picked Samsung for one reason: Super AMOLED Plus. I absolutely love the screen on my Infuse 4G. However, if that was not an option, it'd be HTC all the way.

Yes you do. I have a Motorola. Not even the locked bootloader is an obstacle, and a Nexus wouldn't be locked anyway.

That'll work. Thanks. I'll get set up and attempt a build.
I don't think anyone has the phone yet to test it, but the build will be here when you do.

Got two of these back ordered depending on if Samsung drops the ball like they did with my N3 which cost me a bit of time... will be looking to twist them up a bit upon arrival thanks for the kernel... looking forward to testing. :good:
I can't seem to download the Verizon kernel to try out on my DE Note 4. The Mega link just keeps redirecting me to download Mega even though I have the app installed. Also trying to copy and paste the link into Mega doesn't work because folder links aren't supported by the app. Maybe the direct link?
Also tried the goo.im mirror but doesn't have the Verizon version.
I'm hoping this kernel will fix the lag and stuttering.

Hmm you are msg 12 I think you can go back to msg 7 for your answer if that is too far back then this is really sad..
I think I should put a disclaimer up. It does prove the statement I made in another thread that having a dev edition sub forum would only lead to the question of compatibility when all that's really different is the bootloader

I figured since this is the Nexus 6p forum, it would suffice to just say "out of stock" since it's the only device this forum handles.

If we're being technical, no, because Google isn't a product that can be out of stock. But given the context, I think everybody here knows it's referring to the 6P.
Now they just need to start shipping the things!

Why would one search for the Nexus 6P being out of stock? I mean with issues and problems, fine, but this isn't really the type of thing someone would Google.

FWIW, I searched "Nexus 6P out of stock" and stumbled into a thread that mentioned you can order from Huawei directly...I had not known that until I did that search and found that thread.
Title updated.
Im assuming at some point post-release these stock issues will subside?
Annoyed that Huawei wont let me order, Google is OOS....I think Im just going to wait a few months.

I don't remember when the Nexus 6 came back in stock after the first 5 minutes of launch, but I think it was a couple of months. In the time between then and launch, they would have the N6 on sale one day per week or something like that. I ended up getting mine in April when it hit the carriers...which the 6p isn't doing, right?
Huawei has the 128gb Aluminum in stock on their site. I ordered the 128gb Graphite from there this morning. It is now out of stock. The 6p will be sold by Google and Huawei on the web only.
The hell with Huawei, 32GB aluminum just came back in stock at Google Store....ordered there instead.
Paid tax but go figure, my credit card wasnt declined.
Maybe if Huawei gets their act together, clears my "fraud" and actually has the 64GB in stock for pre-order, then Ill order from them. Wont cancel my Google order anytime soon though.

I'm thinking orders getting cancelled and re-ordered at Hauwei to save tax, or orders getting changed to different color and/or mem capacity.
Who knows when I'll get it but at least I'm technically in line for one

I was about to buy a Mate 10 pro, but the fact the phone is not unlockable made me stopped my buy.
Is there any way to obtain any official statement regarding this case ?? I mean, is it temporary or definitive?
Maybe we should talk about it to xda authors in order to let the community know and maybe make Huawei change their mind ???
As informations from Huawei Germany Hotline, only Unlock Code with a Call or contact directly from Huawei Service, cause too many Peoples sells generated Codes via eBay. No longer via Website possible. I called Yesterday Huawei Support and received Code today via E-Mail. Sorry for my bad english.
