Hello people,
3 days now i am trying to boot CM11(4.4 kitkat) to my sgs3 international. I am using Rom manager to flash Clockworkmod recovery and then i boot this zip file : cm-11-20131129-UNOFFICIAL-i9300-V12.zip
The installation is perfect and after that i am flashing the google app zip file and then i get a message: installation aborted.
I though that may the zip file has something wrong so i downloaded some other ones ( 4 others) but every time i have the same message without specialized error (ex error 7)
When i reboot my phone is perfect runing kitkat but with no access to any google app not even to play store so it is impossible to synch it and use it.
Pleaaase Help me

are the gapps the latest ones?
It sounds like CWM problem (are you sure that you have the latetst version?)
anyway I can describe what how I did it (actually this weekend) and I'm very pleased with the result
download Temasek CM11 v12 zip
download 11-26_GApps_Standard_4.4_signed zip
I also needed the camera fix from here
download boeffla kernel that in used with the appropriate app can do significant tweaks (personally I'm interested in power saving) from here
Steps:
1) Recovery mode
2) wipe system data, cache, dalvik cache
3) install ROM
4) install Gapps
4.5) might not need camera fix...can do it afterwards without any wiping
5) install kernel
6) can do wipe once more. Don't think it matters but have seen it in Youtude
7) reboot

I wanted to install the Unofficial Stock Ultra-lite rom for Xperia U .
Followed the exact procedures mentioned in the Rom thread .
The rom installs and boots well and good , but I face a certain problem after it.
Whenever I try to flash any zip (themes etc.) via the recovery , the procedure fails and the recovery says " FAILED TO MOUNT SYSTEM "
Any solution?

Im writing because I got in a bit of a trouble installing custom ROMs. I have installed 3 different ROMs, I wanted to try them for myself, and after that my phone does not work. I have researched and I am asking for help because I do not know what caused the error.
What I did:
Install clockworkmod as recovery tool in phone and Cynamongenmod following this tutorial http://wiki.cyanogenmod.org/w/Install_CM_for_i9305. ----> Everything works fine except the camera (it is a known issue)
Install paranoid android to see if the camera bug what fixed, (it wasn't) ----> Everything works fine except the camera
Install pacman (pac_i9305-release-20141231.zip) , but i didnt install gapps ----> Everything works fine, even the camera!!
Try to install gapps for the version 4.4.4 to my understand (pa_gapps-stock-4.4.4-20150208-signed.zip). -----> Clockwork recovery tool says that can not install. Researched about it and flashed Team Win Recovery Project v2.3.3.0
Installed gapps with TWRP -----> Booted pacman but get stuck on error like "can not execute gapps"
Got a bit frightened and installed Clockwork revovery tool and Cyanmongenmod again----> The phone boots but NO PHONE SERVICE WORKING!!, I got in panic
Used the recovery image -----> The phone boots (even the phone service) but I get a error on gapps "gapps stoped"
Installed TWRP again and try to install Pacman rom and give me the errors:
Making sysmlinks....
set_metadata_recursive: some changes failed
E: error in /data/media/0/sideload.zip (status7)

i am having problem while flashing gapps with latest cm13 via cyanogenmod ... i have downloaded latest open gapps and even the latest custom os ... problem arises when i flash gapps .. after the installation of gapps when i reboot my phone .. it shows installing 101 files .. thats okay .. but when it finishes installing them .. it installs google framework ... suddenly it restarts the installation of 101 apps .. this process repeats on till i switch off my phone manually
help me with it .. urgently

Slim_zero_gapps.BETA.6.0.build.0.x-20160210-1513.zip
Move both files to you S3. Wipe:
Code:
[LIST]
[*]data
[*]cache
[*]dalvik-cache
[*]system
[/LIST]
Then flash both files.
It didnt work, but I found out what was wrong, my custom recovery, changed it and it worked.
custom recovery ?? cm 12.1 is working fine ... this problem is with cm13 only

I used here the Benzo Gapps and work perfectly.

Yes, then I did a full wipe, flash the cm and flash the benzo gapps, now its work normally.
OBS: I tried the Pico, Nano and Stock Open gapps.
Today I managed to install the Open GAPPS, I found that was the CWM which was not compatible.
Instalaei the TWRP installed and normally without errors.

I had this problem: After flashing cm13 and gapps, the device booted until attempting to start GoogleServicesFramework, then it crashed, rebooted, but got stuck for ever at the cm boot animation.
After upgrading from the ancient clockworkmod recovery I had on the device to latest twrp, I could flash cm13 and gapps (opengapps nano), and the device booted fine.
Hello everyone ! i have a oneplus X that was rooted and installed TWRP but because i was banned of an application because it doesnt allow root so i deleted root partially . Anyway i tried to install CM13 through recovery it succeeded but the problem is that it didnt have the store and google play services installed so i installed them from the net and then it poped Unfortunatley Google play services stopped and i need to upgrade it also installed latest Version and tried to clear cache but nothing solved . i also installed the official rom and tried to flash it using recovery and i get "error executing binary in zip " and searched the net forresults and nothing worked or both problems so i am currently stuck in CM13 and the ability to not install anything or wiping the phone and OS when trying to flash official rom
P.S : all apks and roms are latest versions . any help please because i am currently using samsung grand prime and its so slow :crying:
Flash Open Gapps from here instead of whatever it is you happened to have found. You want, ARM, 6.0, NANO. Where did you download the official CM13 from?
