Does anyone know what happened to the forum with the updates? It seems to be gone
You mean this? https://community.gethuawei.com/sup...15/06/30/mate2-android-l-update-now-available
I posted this yesterday that "
Update: The Android L update (B309) is temporarily unavailable as we gather user feedback and improve the overall experience. We will post a new announcement when the next software release is available. If you already installed Android L,*please submit your device IMEI*to receive future updates via Huawei's OTA server."
They pulled the release.

Hmmmm, I wonder if I should submit my converted ConsumerCellular IMEI or if it would just be ignored....Guess it couldn't hurt.

The original poster hasn't heard anything since the first report. It's not looking promising...

Yeah...looks like a fake report or a misunderstanding. Don't get your hopes up.
it could drop soon... considering HTC just released source for the last OTA, they should be out-dating it within a week, just like they did when source for the original software was released :silly:

Yep, sounds about right on with everything else.
So far we can see our device only show up the BR2 and without the X-Reality. Or it already combine together? I search from the china blog and saw the massage, will be update for next month. It is true?
Anyone knew that please advise. Thanks.

Im 99.99% that X-Reality and Bravia Eng 2 are not the same thing. I remember reading that X-Reality was not ready for the release of the C6802 ver. but it will come eventually. There is no release day that i am aware of but i do know that it was "promised"
Yes. ETA is September. Read the official whitepaper for more

I think(almost certain) that we will not get any official update from samsung... It's a shame that mobiles like xperia m have got official android 4.3 update and also cm 11 for their device while we are still in 4.1.2....

well i did lot of thinking in this matter. There are two case:
Their are updates coming to deivces having same config as us well almost so it can be that we might be getting update
OR
Samsung is that company which gives more effort in quantity than quality. It want expand its production more and more so they might put their whole team on new project than old projects
Its like 20% chance that we MIGHT get update .For now their is no news for update

Ours is an older architecture...Samsung doesn't seem to make updates for older architecture phones anymore.

Followed up on your claim that any official dates have been confirmed, they haven't. Most recent information as stated by HTC is target 2nd week of April. That's not a confirmation of any specific date especially since the update is with Verizon right now to get final certification. If you have specific information from a source to say otherwise please post.
Agreeing with xlxcrossing. Everything i see shows the 2nd week of April. if you have diff info please share. otherwise here is where i got my info.
http://motoringcrunch.com/news/htc-...e-release-date-siren-starts-ringing/10012474/
If they are to meet the target launch of April this should mean that KitKat 4.4 should arrive before 14 April. Detail :

The update is probably ready and likely has been for weeks. I'm blaming Verizon on this one. Its the Thunderbolt all over again...

I think the Heartbleed bug fix may be to blame.

Technically OS wise only 4.1.1 was vulnerable. No other versions were

Thanks. At the time I posted I thought that version was the only one not affected. Guess I had it backwards. I wonder though, if resources could have been diverted to help fix that version.

I'm sure resources could have been but at the same time Google said it was a low percentage of devices that even have that version. I'd like to say it was like 1-3% or something that low so it probably wasn't too high on the list to fix. I do think their is a patch they have out though
There's been some subtle info coming through the pipeline but week of 21st (now) is the adjusted time for target release. Hopefully some of you will get the OTA notification soon. This isn't a guarantee by any means, we all know the update process through Verizon historically has always been massively delayed at times when dealing with older devices. Its not like HTC or Verizon though to give constant updates pushing it week to week. They already did their 3 month postponement so I think its legit at this point.

Probably about a week or so after, but there is no guarantees.
Noob Question please!
Guys, a noob here. Just caught the news about KK coming over to Droid DNA. I have an unlocked version running Viper DNA 1.3.5 on Android version 4.1.1 with Sense 4.
Will I get notification of the KK update OTA since I'm in Canada and hence not running on Verizon's network and secondly, if I do the update, will I be able to run the ViperDNA as a dual boot option or is it even worthwhile to do that?
Thanks in advance folks!!!
I'm trying to see 7f anyone have any news on the Verizon update for sense 6 ?

I know somebody found it and posted it, but did the OTA ever actually go? Verizon never updated their One max support doc (still showing the Kit Kat OTA http://www.verizonwireless.com/dam/support/pdf/system_update/one-max.pdf) and HTC still hasn't confirmed it on their software updates page (http://www.htc.com/us/go/htc-software-updates/).
Every other OTA I've received the day it rolled out, and I still have nothing on mine. Did you get the update OTA or flash the file linked here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2767922?
I haven't seen anything about when the official OTA will roll out, and my stock recovery isn't working, so I can't do it manually .

I RUU'ed back to stock Sense 6 then installed TWRP again.
If you check the HTC Software status website, you see that it is in the certification phase for Verizon.
