hello,
i've upgraded my s3 from stock rom 4.0.4 to Cyanogenmod 10 4.1.2.
now some contacts got lost, i tried importing them from my nandroid backup over titanium backup pro.
After importing my contacts application crashes though so i had to delete all contact data.
is there any program to open contacts2.db which displays the contacts in a nice, readable way?
sorry if this is in the wrong section
Hi,
I am having a similar problem. For some reason not all my contacts were synced up, and I want to recover them.
Were you able to resolve this, if so, how?
Thanks in advance for any info you can provide.

Search "sqlite" in play store and download one of those sqlite database managers.
If you're using Google contacts, then remove yourself from Google on your phone in settings. That will clear everything.
Then go to google contacts on the web and check if any contacts are missing. If not, just add Google I'd again and let it resync.
If you're not sure or if contacts are missing. Then Google has nifty little feature of reverting contacts to a specific date. Kinda like windows restore. That should get you back on track, then after restore, add the google account to sync and you're set.

Convert contacts2.db to vCard gsmrecovery ru/index.php?lang=en
Hello everyone,
I have an old backup of my Galaxy Note. It's a CWM backup so I will be restoring the complete phone software. How will this affect my contacts list? Will android sync my contact list to how it is now or will I overwrite the contact list I have now while syncing.
The OS is Android 2.3.6 (Gingerbread)
Thanks
Hey all,
I've used the beautiful Titanium Backup tool to restore Accounts & Sync numerous times on my old HTC Desire S. It ran Android 4.0.4.
I've recently upgraded to a Xperia Z1 (Android 4.4 rooted) and after attempting to restore the backup from the older device, it doesn't seem to do anything.
Is there any way I can restore my old accounts to my new phone? I have quite a few different email accounts and I've forgotten some of the passwords, it'd be great to be able to restore them on my new phone.
Cheers all,
Djstanley.
Hi!
Is it just my phone or is Helium unable to backup Chrome? I can't find it in the list of backup and I have tons of login sessions and login/passwords I'd like to keep safe and backup.
Use Titanium Backup instead, works better.
I just got the bootloader unlocked of my RN4(Snapdragon). Now I'm planning on installing twrp recovery and then flash either resurrection or lineage.
I'm concerned about my mobile bookmarks and passwords (mostly bookmarks). I know there's a sync option in Google chrome but I don't trust it as I have lost bookmarks in the past while using it. Plus I like to keep my pc and mobile bookmarks separate hence I never sync Google chrome on my mobiles.
I've done some research on alternate methods. One thing that came up often was helium backup. Tried it, didn't work cause my device for some reason isn't detecting that my pc has already given permission to backup.
Thanks beforehand.
