how can i change it back to e10a?
before getting errors i did root the phone, installed xrecovery, and installed Cyanogenmod 2.3.7 using recovery, after that the phone stucks on SE logo and show me that is e10i now.
baseband is M76XX-TSNCJOLYM-53404006
i think it is my error

I recently flashed xperia pro mini ( prototype version which imei starts with 0044)
and phone wont start. It just vibrates, green led flash, and nothing happens. I tried many firmwares but with no luck.
There`s solution on the internet but I need prototype firmwares (flash files) and then it should be able to work again...
ANY HELP PLEASE < I`M DESPERATE THE PHONE I FLASHED IS NOT MINE , BUT MY EX AND SHE WANTS IT BACK
Have you tried bin4ry's flash tool? It should be able to flash any of the firmware available from the same page
Sent from my E10i using XDA App
Yeah he knows that i guess he nees the prototyp FIRMWARE files
Sent from my U20i using XDA App
yes I used them...no luck ... the thing is that only prototype FIRMWARE files , ( test firmware files ) works in prototype phone. Actually , flashing with one of the bin4ry`s firmwares made my telephone dead. Of course bin4ry`s firmwares got nothing to do with it , my phone is the problem.
Any help?
Flashing is not a problem...i flashed firmware without any errors , but after that when i tried to turn on my phone....nothing little vibration green led flashed, and black screen
do you have some friend with setool2 software ?
No,do You think that they have the firmware I need?
if someone will ever find that.. i would like to have it too.
respect
I am in the same situation.
My mini pro has same prototype imei (0044...)
phone looks like x10 mini pro, but has some diferences: camera is only 3,2 MP and is central not like I see on other pitures. keyboard has more buttons, the hole for microphone is in the left side, to the keyboard
At first look, it seems to be x10 mini pro At&t branded
I also try all the bin4ry`s
PC companion sais I have latest software
have you tried flashing the X10 mini software ?
Since it looks like a mini pro but is not 100% a mini pro.
Good change this is an development version of the mini, which also runs on mini software.
mine flashes OK with the Bin4ry tool + files.
But that is a mini proto. not a mini pro.
I have had the same behaviour after flasing X10 software in my mini....
So it looks like wrong software is in the phone.
It's a minipro for sure. look this info:

and have good will to upload it.

First of all, I know that I'm an idiot and I should read the instuctions...
My device:
Xperia X10a from [email protected] flashed to CENT_EUROPE_1 X10i, unlocked via DAVINCI TEAM
Then I tried to UNLOCK my Bootloader and I stucked with no singnal/no SIM inserted problem.
Kernel version:
2.6.29-00054-g5f01537 [email protected]#1
So what I want to do now is flash STOCK KERNEL to my Xperia. I allready tried FW/ROM budnles for FlashTool and Wotan, but the kernel version won´t change. Is there a only STOCK KERNEL xRecovery (.zip) pacage for x10?
Thank you in advance.

Both Seus and PC Companion claim that there's no sw available for connected device.
If you do the sim unlock through davinci again it will restore it for you.
I did this exact same thing when I was playing around trying to get unlocked bootloader back after sim unlocking. Alas it failed lol.
But I just unlocked again through davinci and now I am working as normal.
I already tried to do that, but Davinci won't work with my x10 anymore.

I had to jump through a few hoops to get mine going.
I used flashtool to get back to SE stock 2.1 with stock kernel
Then powered it on. Once it was booted and gone through the setup wizard turned it off
Then redid the sim unlock on davinci.
Then I was able to go through root with flashtool to get xrecovery and stuff which got me back to where i started.
PS Going through the power on was required, I tried to do it without that step and davinci wouldn't recognise my handset.

That's the one!
Thank you for the link. I already flashed my phone with Sony Ericsson X10i_2.1.A.435_GLOBAL-GGL GENERIC, but as I mentioned the Kernel version always stuck on 2.6.29-00054-g5f01537 [email protected]#1 and won't go back to Stock one (even though the flash is always successful).
So, my tough was to flash back X10a firmware to get it back as it comes from [email protected] So, I flashed X10a_2.1.A.0.492_AT&T and BASEBAND 2.1.65 (X10a). As the result the Kernel version is still 2.6.29-00054-g5f01537 [email protected]#1, but now I can make Restore with Sony Ericsson Update Service/PC Companion. Unfortunately KERNEL version is not being restored . The phone still doesn't work with DaVinci, the log is completely the same as on the previous page.
I think that DaVinci doesn't recognize the phone due to its Kernel. So my task is to somehow get the STOCK KERNEL back to my phone... Any ideas?
Are you getting the kernel info from settings > about?
I used the aZuZu kernel downgrade file I think. Wasn't paying too much attention as I was a bit panicky

Yea, I'm getting kernel info from that place.
Neither flashing aZuZu downgrade file chanes my kernel.
What file was used to unlock the bootloader?

Hi Friends - I am quite struck in at a postion in m y Xperia where in I am unable to login in to Google. As I was just retracing my steps I figured out that during the boot loader unlock process, I had downgraded my phones firmware and unlocked the boot-loader, but instead of upgrading the firmware I choose to upgrade a kernal that wanted for the new RoM.
I am unable to guess if that is the problem that is causing my data unreliability problem, also the phone hangs a lot. Please advice!!
Thanks,
Amrth

but As far as i know you have to be on stock SE rom to unlock bootloader
someone correct me if i m wrong
Try Fresh
Why don't you try a fresh install, root, unlock all together, that'll help a lot, I mean if you know the drill, don't waste your time, try fresh, as per the question as to kernel and firmware being synonymous, no they're not,
Kernel is the core of the system that holds the codes and drivers needed by the system and firmware provides Instructions to the device.
I never unlocked bootloader of my x10i ..

Hi,
I have got a broken U20i which i want to repair, if possible.
Do not know anything about the history of the phone and what has caused the damage.
The led does not work, when it is started it comes a short vibration and afterwards for several seconds the backlight of the display.
The backlight returns every 20 seconds, and it seems that the accu is charged - that is all it does.
With SEUS and PC Companion updates are possible without any problems.

It was possible to unlock the bootloader and to flash the kernel with Flashtool and to set it back to fabricmode with SEUS.
After each procedure the phone does not start.
I tested the touchscreen and the display - both are working.
Is there anything to do exept jtag?

I don't think a jtag will do you any good since flashing kernels and firmware seems to work fine, and all a JTAG does is force the phone to accept factory firmware, something you have already done with seus.
The little vibration is the standard indicator that the phone is turning on and you can release the power-button, so that's normal too.
I guess there is a hardware fault somewhere. It may be something very simple like the flex that connects the screen to the rest of the phone (the motherboard and battery etc. is all underneath the keyboard on the u20) and it is the most common cause of failure on that phone. If you can see visible damage to that then that would be my first port of call.
But I can't guarantee that that will fix the problems the phone has. I wish you good luck with it though, I love these little phones and there's nothing else like it on the market.
Thanks for your answer.
The flexcable is broken.
Now I have changed the flexcable and the u20i nearly works fine.
During the repair I disabled the wlan-antenna.
Can anybody tell me (or even better show me) where I can find this antenna?
