Hello everybody. For several days I use Tasker and I am very fascinated. I want to do when I use some network to set Power Saving Mode ON and after go out to switch OFF, but when I do that I get a window and I have to click on it. I want to automate that.
Thank you in advance.
Secure settings
Download secure settings from play store and it has a plugin for tasker to enable/disable power saving mode.
In secure settings app I don't see power saving mode...
I just saw your post today. You may already get answer now. But if not you can find it in secure setting under Custom Rom Actions - > Samsung Modes -> Power Saving Mode. That's it!

Hey guys!
I have a question about advanced power menu popping up on lockscreen if you press power button long enough. How can I disable it? For example sometimes I accidentally turn on flight mode when the phone is in my pockets. Very annoying! Another reason to disable it would be that if my phone should stolen, a thief could disable the data network mode and the traceability of the phone would be gone.
Is there any way to disable power menu on lockscreen?
Thanks in advance!
I've tried using both tasker and secure settings and no luck. With secure settings I can add the power saving mode but I can't toggle between it. It's either disable or enable. Does anyone know how to get a power saving shortcut in the home screen?
Using galaxy s2 neatrom.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

No one? Is there no way I can get a power saving mode shortcut?
I pressed the power button and Power off soft menu appear, when I select the Power off item, it does not response. Airplane mode and Take screenshot item work.
Anyone encounter this? Anyway to resolve this?
Its a touch screen device, so I doubt any on screen buttons can be faulty.
Restore it to factory.

did you set something in developer options?
in setting > developer options > Enable quickboot mode
if you ticked the "Enable Quickboot Mode" you wont able to press shutdown button on the screen
check to see if ticked or not

Thank Tonylcc,
you are right.
How to enable QuickBoot mode?
I was heard that in setting > developer options has a checkbox name "Enable QuickBoot mode"
but mine have not.
How can I enable it?
D6503 using 23.0.1.A.0.167
this is about pokemon go. so i try using some xposed module. so this apps required overlay. but the problem i cant toggle pokemon go to overlay an apps due to the permission is greyed out. is there any way for me to toggle it on. i already rooted my phone and was on android 6.1. any help will be great thanks
I've had this error on many apps. Only solution I've found so far is to hold the power button until the power off option come up then hold long press power off until "safe mode" option comes up. You can set permissions once in safe mode.
Anyone on the Android Pie Beta may have noticed the little * in the changelog telling you to disable Secure Startup.
If you were like me and assumed it would just be for the first boot after updating and re-enabled secure startup afterwords you may be facing this issue too where you can no longer use your phone because the screen is not coming on.
Luckily i found a pretty nice fix thanks to a user on Reddit HERE

I had this issue! There is a way to fix this!
You need to get Bixby set up blindly, and then ask to activate power saving mode, and turn it on. It'll lower the screen resolution and fix the issue. This is how I sorted it out.
I can post screenshots of what area to press, so you can get it set up.
Edit: Album with screenshots for Bixby, literally the one time it has come in handy, ahah!
By default, the navigation bar will be at the bottom, so find the home button, then move up slightly from there. After set up, ask Bixby to turn on power saving mode, then hit the area to confirm. After you have done this, do a reset of your settings in the menu, and it'll fix it. No factory restore needed. Hope this helps anyone.

Seems to be a bug with Android Pie + Secure Startup + a WQHD+ resolution.
So you need to change the resolution and then disable secure startup so it does not happen again.
I managed to get Bixby to enable power saving mode by unlocking the phone with my fingerprint, tapping the bixby key (you should be able to hear bixby welcome you) and tapping where the next arrow should be at the bottom center of the screen,
After this i held the Bixby Key and asked her to enable power saving, and then tapping apply (blind) near the bottom right of the screen.
