do a little search about hot to connect to PC drive using ES explorer.
Share drive in PC -> Go to LAN in ES explorer -> Search and connect to the PC -> Copy the folder from mobile to PC folder.
or try using AirDroid.
MTP mode spoils the fun!

Help me ! I can't copy file from PC to Samsung T959 !

I'm using the Samsung Galaxy S T959 2.1 of TMobile
I have installed on my computer samsung drivers for mobile and Kies.
My computer is using Win 7 32-bit
Everyday, I plug the cable into my PC and choose Mount, after that I copy data from PC to Samsung normally
Today, when the cable attached to the PC, then select Mount, also appears that 2 drives H & I but I can't copy data to SamSung. When I copied, the PC alert :
Copying
Discovering items.....
Time remain : Calculating
Data Transfer : Calculating
How then is run from morning to noon without the copy is complete, although I only have a 1MB image file. Reset your computer and the SS, but still the same error.
So my computer is corrupted or SS that you failed? I try to connect your computer with the N95, the copy machine is normal.
please help me how to I can copy data normally ?
i had a problem copying files to my vibrant, I formated my internal 16gb memory and it fixed the problem.
i think its
settings>sd phone storage>format.
I would uninstall kies. I never use it. After you do that plug in the phone and you should then use the top pull down menu and it will have a connect usb icon and button. hit that it will then say connected and it will open 2 folders F and G or something like that one is the internal sd and the other is the external And do what the posting said format the external sd card if it is new or you have not yet. you can do it on the computer it would be fat-32 ONLY
If you have wifi you can use the app Wifi File Explorer. Costs about $1 for the Pro version. I use it all the time for transferring files. Very easy and works great. You access your phones storage using your PC web browser. No cables, no problems.

Thanks! I just tried that App. It works great. It doesn't seem to see my MicroSD card though, only the internal memory shows up (on my Vibrant).......unless I am missing something.

Shows up on mine. Look for the sd folder. If you see "Up To Parent Directory" at the top of the directory list click on it because you're not at the root directory level. From root you should see sd/.

Recovering lost files (SGS 3)

Hello guys. I need to recover lost files which was on SGS 3's internal memory. I have software on PC which could recover them, but I could not connect phone as usb drive to PC. Anyone knows how to solve this problem?
thank you.
Search the exact same question asked multiple times .
Install USB drivers .

Are you sure that I can mount internal SD card as USB flash disk to PC after installing USB drivers?
No you can't. There is no ums mode anymore so the phone will not show up on your pc as a drive with a driveletter. Your recovery programs will not be able to recover.
If the files are on sd card you can try undelete or stick the sd in the pc to recover.

[Q] Format internal SD card with Windows

My internal SD card is full of junk and I want to format it.
I tried formatting using the phone but nothing happened.
So I was wondering if I can do it like this: http://i.imgur.com/5px1RrG.png?
I'm not sure if u crash the sd-format afterwards (fat32/ext4/etc...)
I (!!!)
would recommend to backup what u need to PC, first.
Connect phone to PC.
Then make all things visible in windows Explorer (also invisible folders).
Select all and delete them manually. (= sd card is clean)
Then go into download mode, connect to PC (Odin) and flash ur firmware.
No warranty for anything!!!!
Much success

Dump full internal SD

Hi guys,
I want to change the ROM on my S3 but before i do this I want to make a full backup of the internal SD card. Is it possible to do this via ADB or ROM manager? Please note that I don't no care about the ROM setting etc just the other content like photos and personal files. Also I cannot just connect the USB cable and pull via Windows Explorer as it keeps missing files and I do not trust it.
Daniel
Put in a ext SD card, copy file with root explorer and never use "ROM manager" with a Sammy device. EVER
