I know that this question has been asked before, bit no one seems to have my problem: basically I just bought my galaxy $6 Edge and I can't switch off the battery percentage indicator. The option to do so is not where it should be (or anywhere else)
I think my carrier may have disabled it for some reason but I'm not sure.
Does anyone have any help or advice?
Thanks
It should be in settings>battery>toggle at the bottom of page.
If the toggle is not there, I can't help sorry.

I remember seeing a CAB a while back that enabled the battery indicator in the top curtain, not the task bar.
It was coloured, and the coloured bar would reduce from the right to the left.
I have spent 30 minutes looking everywhere online and cannot seem to find it.
Does anyone have a link for it?
This is not for the top task bar, and is not the % indicator. Thanks.
I found this one which is pretty cool and I thought I would share it.
It adds a very thin line right at the top of the screen, on top of the top task bar. Looks nice and sleek. The line reduces from right to left as the battery level drops.
Check it out:

This is cool, but not what I was after.
I am looking for the cab/app that installs a wider band in the top curtain where the mobile carrier information is displayed. Between the clock and the top task bar.
I have been it before but for the life of me I can't find it now.
Anyone?
Anything, anyone?
Can you not change the pixel size of the bar in the options?
There are a good few of those line-bar battery indicators the last one I used on my Diamond you could change the size of the bar pixel by pixel. I'll keep searching for the one I used, but I can't for the life of me remember the name of it.

The one I am after is actually behind the operator curtian (where it lists Optus, Telstra AT&T etc) it fades as ther battery level drops.
This is not on the extreme top of the screen like others.

Ah right, I know what you mean now. The one I was thinking of was Batti I've not seen the one you have mentioned, I gave it a good Googling, maybe someone else will know.
Hi I wonder if anyone can offer advice please.
I have just upgraded to the SG2 from Nexus One. I would like a clock that shows at night beside the bed although it needs to be very dim and the clock needs to move randomly around the screen to avoid burn in.
The Nexus One had this as stock which worked only when charging but I cannot find any such night settings on the SG2 stock clock.
Guys....I have a new Battery indication at the top left and side of my phone...this is not the built in Samsung notification.....
This is bugging me, its obviously some kinda spam program related to something I installed....any ideas how to get rid of it
Screen shot attached.....the new battery indicator is the number 10 in the top left corner....the red .symbols next to it is a message app I installed ages ago.....
Maybe it's something I turned on....but can't remember doing so
Any ideas how to get this off
Cheers
Paul

I notice today, it's ghosting is not that much but I can see the lte signal bars and battery icon while using the phone in landscape
I have the G5,and I have backlight bleed along with icon burn in. I called, but the only thing LG would do is fix my phone and it would take a month. I can not do that,I need my phone for work. Why can't I just get a replacement ? From what I've been reading its a fairly common defect with the G5. Any advice on how to deal with them ?

My burn-In started today, usually the status bar was Burning, In a couple of hours now it is starting to burn anything that stays a couple of minutes on screen.
Now it has Status bar along with Nav Bar and anything that stays on screen. This is starting to piss me off.
Plus it fades away if I leave the phone intact but has soon has I start using it the problem persists.
What does screen burn mean, please?

Means that after certain time of having an app open or given the situation status bar or Nav bar starts to have ghosting or clear images of something that you haved opened on your phone. You can see this images with a complete grey image if they are soft. If they are burning really bad you can see them from any dark colors that you have on your screen.
There is already the same thread. Maybe try the search function next time:

So I've bought this used Oneplus X ( Age unknown ) and it has burn-in on the status bar. I only just noticed this after re-flashing the phone where the white theme was as default. A ton of Facebook notifications, different battery and reception is burned in. I'm wondering, is it the "Always on" feature that contributed to this, or is it just general use?
I got this phone for 100 euros, switching over from a Oneplus One with rampant 3G issues, when switching to the black theme it isn't noticeable luckily so there's that!

1. Why did you get a used Oneplus X at 100 euros , where you could have bought other new phone.?
2. Always on display shows the date, time and notification.... Even when the screens off.( So I don't think it's that.)
3. Burn in rarely happens on an AMOLED and if it has happened, you need to replace the screen.
Hope I answered your question.
It can happen from general use. On my phone it's quite noticeable.
I've got a bit of burn in on mine, from the notification bar, but I can only ever see it if I'm looking for it AND have the brightness down all the way AND have the area around where the notification is a grey colour. At that point, I can start clearly making out icons, but otherwise general use has not left any marks. I could probably even make it a bit better by switching my notification bar icons to black and using that for a long while, but I don't really care enough since it's so minor.
