Hi i recently bought a rooted huawei u9508 i discovered some bugs.
First when i send messages in greek language when they are big in length(more than 60 chars) the receiver reads them in chinese language.
Another thing is that, when i answer my incoming calls(sliding to green icon) this doesnt answer it and continue to rings.
I tried factory reset settings now and the problem with the answering solved but i dont know what caused it(i only installed apps from google playstore)
And last when i install apps they make two icons instead of one. Is this a software problem or hardware?
Honor 2 supports android 4.2?

Hi everyone
I've recently bought the Xiaomi Tv box 3 MDZ-16-AB, international version with Android 6.0 (2gb - 8gb). It worked well 2 days, then, just stopped working. It just has the white light working and that's all, the tv does not "see" it, my router says it's not connected, and the bluetooth remote does not aany effect on it. It's just like it does not know it's a tv box, sounds funny but don't know how to explain it. Thinks something went wrong on software. I did not nothing (root ecc), just installed some app from the google store and when come back to home it was not responding anymore. Please anyone could help, give me an answer, unfurtunately i can't return it, and don't know what to do because it does not show any screen.
I underestand english, italian, russian & romanian, so please anyone help to solve this..

HI, Just recently got google assistant on my Nexus 6P 7.1.2 Beta in the UK but i have been unable to find any mention of this "My Day" Feature or any of the ways detailed within other google assistant overviews on changing news poviders etc...
If anything i appear to have a watered down version of google assistant... but it is definately assistant before you ask...
Anyone else in the UK having a similar experiance??

Have you got assistant with language set to English (UK)? From what I've seen its only been enabled for English (US).
Strange goings on...
Well, i did a few weeks ago and posted the result on another thread but reset my phone after a few issues and when i did set it all to UK English so i was back to Google now... Google assistant randomly appeared on Saturday to my joy and I've been playing with it, that's how i discovered the missing parts when i tried to customise it... On the back of the post i put on last night i tried a reset/reboot of my phone and Google now has returned... I have no idea why it appeared in the first place and i did confirm prior to the reset/restart that my language was English UK... Strange goings on... And frustrating...
For the life of me, I still can't get Assistant to enable! What gives?

Just bought my Amazfit Pace and tryied to paired it with a Huawei P10 with custom Android 8.0.0. Got stuck with the QR. I have even achieved to paired it with the Amazfit Watch app, but the code didn't diseapear.
Then I tryied to paired it with another device with Android 4.3 and no problem at all, I have updated the watch firmware to 1.3.8a to see if that was the problem, but the issue would remain.
I changed language in my phone to chinese, re-installed app from china, no luck. Did the same with english, with the same result.
Tryed to write to Amazfit but the solution was to turn off bluetooth and try to paired it again.
Could anyone suggest a solution, 'cause I am becoming crazy.

I had same issue with Stratos. Had to pair it with mi account on a phone with android 7, and then log on my main phone with same account and Watch was paired already. I think it's general problem on oreo

Search for v.2.0 of Amazfit Watch on the Apkmirror website. The problem is the new version App.

i bought amazfit verge lite but it is in chinese version. i was wondering if anyone could help me getting the language to english
It wasn't released internationally yet, so you didn't do a wise choice... Try using the adb commands to set the language to EN, maybe it works, at least partially...

Sorry but that is not true, i was thinking the same until I found new video in youtube where the guy is using english version.
I bought Chinese version also, for me it is fine the Chinese writing but if i could make it in English it would be much better
tried adb but laptop do not find the watch, looks like the cable is only to charge...

Verge lite is available for Europe costumers already - https://en.amazfit.com/verge-lite.html US web site don't have it yet to sell
So guys, I have Good news and Bad news...
I contacted amazfit support and I have a reply:

I don't remember exactly but you can do it by editing the build prop and reboot...it's 3 lines to edit I think...
One is change "local" to EU and the other line is basically change language...

No verge lite is not android based, so he can not use build.prop. Probably, if we had the firmware we would be able to extract the res file and translate, in the same way we did for bip, but it is soon to say.
Ok didn't know that at all...I was thinking of buying the verge lite...Will there be any development our custom rooms for this watch I wonder...

I just bought it from china and only chinese language appear. I hope someone can share the way to solve this problem
Verge lite does not run Android as far as I know, but a proprietary OS like BIP, so don't waste your time with adb. A new Amazfit app 3.0 was released on PlayStore, if it doesn't work then you will have to wait until someone hack it like they did with BIP/Core (of course, it will void warranty).
It seems to be already an English firmware actually.

I ordered the Verge Lite from Aliexpress at the end of June and just got it today and it's running English firmware. Manufacturer date was 07/2019.
I received my Verge Lite (Global version) yesterday to replace my BIP. So far so good, but after I connected the watch with the Mi Fit app it started an update to V1.3.2.0 and now it gets stuck on "updating Fonts". It fails every time and the only thing I can see on the watch is "Open the app and go to Software updates" so I can't use the watch anymore. Any ideas on how to handle this? Is a custom firmware already available?
Very bad experience with Amazfit and so far no customer support (no reply yet)
That's the problem with devices like BIP/Verge lite: once you get a problem the only way to try to workaround is waiting until the battery is full depleted and hope that it will start working again next boot. Or wait for a new firmware update and hope it is fixed.

verge lite already released globally, so there is a english firmware but how to change the fw of chinese version to global firmware with english?

I bought an international version of verge lite and I didn't have this problem. You could try to factory reset the verge lite, make sure you install english Mi Fit app (there are apk available somewhere here https://forum.xda-developers.com/search/forum/6606?query=mi fit apk)
And then try to sync it and see if the watch displays in english.

1. You bought an international version, that's why you didn't have the problem, obviously.
2. Watch should be paired with Amazfit Watch and not MiFit.

Same thing happened to me.
Purchased in Geekbuying, it was updated to V1.3.2.0 and after changing the sphere it was reboot. It stays in a loop of reboots and after a while it comes out updating fonts. I try to update them and it ends with error

1. Yes, I understand that but I do have the same watch, its just an issue with firmware which could be fixed by factory resetting. You can't know it unless you try it.
2. They're both official apps. My manual said to sync it with Mi Fit app.
