I was able to load themes previously. Then, I tried to load a custom theme I made, but it would pass 20%.
So, I fixed it, and when I tried to load it again, it wouldn't allow me to add it because it crashed upon hitting "Load Theme."
Now what?
Anyone?
A custom .OSWC file.
However, I've even uninstalled and reinstalled, and I cannot advance once pressing "Load Theme."
It just crashes and I can't load anything at this point.

Worked a day or two and quit. The Amazon reviews are really bad:

So, today I finally got my Samsung Galaxy S2 phone. Ofcourse already rooted it and changed the kernel. So I wanted to see what kind of speeds are possible on my new phone, and tried to install setcpu, but whatever I try, it will not load the setcpu page. All other application work, except setcpu.
When I search for setcpu in the android market, then click the link, I get a "Loading" screen till the end of time (no timeout, just keeps loading). If I then press back, and click on a different application it loads instant, if I go back again and click setcpu again, same error, just keeps loading.
Next to this error I also notest the Fancy Widget Pro application(that i bought!!) cannot be downloaded anymore, it just says: "This item is not availeble".
Anyone with a solution?
Restore back your Market version to old(ex: 2.3.6)
Are you using Market 3.1.6 ???
If your using 3.1.6 get off it... Something is up. It isn't signed properly and the dex is missing.. We tried to decompile it and run it through an emulator and logcat.. It wouldn't decompile. Highly suspect. Avoid that market.

Setup ROM slot 2 to have clean Amazon ROM, then did the HDXposed and Thor-Gapps patch to get Playstore working. Was working great.
Today, was about to read eBook, when I noticed I can't get access to Amazon any more. Instead of "<name>'s Kindle", it just says "My Kindle".
If I go into "My Account" in settings, I get a "this Kindle was not registered". However, touching the register button just blinks the screen. And needless to say none of the Amazon apps will open, or just shows the register button, which does nothing.
I can wipe the ROM and start over, but I'd like to do a little debugging first. So, what should I do? And is there a way to 'save' this Amazon reg info (Titanium? Nandroid? Other?) so I can just "restore" ? (kinda like those "rootsaver" apps, I imagine)
Found a way to fix it, strangely.
One night my HDX7 just acted REALLy REALLY slow. normally 30 fps game went to like 4 fps. Won't turn off. So I did the almost unthinkable... I held down the power button for 30 seconds to force a factory reboot.
After a few reboots... I was surprised to see it boot back into the launcher, not Amazon home. However, all of the apps that loads at boot have been disabled. No Xposed. In fact, some of the apps are gone too.
I tapped on "Home" (Carousel) expecting it to fail, but surprisingly, it worked, and it prompted me to register my device. So I did. I am back in! I'm in Amazon ecosystem again!
The only catch is I can't open Kindle reader directly from regular launcher. I had to launch carousel then pick a book. But otherwise Kindle works fine.
I quickly re-enabled Xposed, HDXposed, and the rest of the hacks and tweaks. I also had to redownload a few apps as somehow this reboot un-linked a few apps from the market, but otherwise, no big deal.
So there you go... if you lost reg, do the factory reboot, reg, then restart Xposed and HDXposed and the rest. And you should be up and running again. Sure beats redo the whole flash procedures.
Turns out this procedure doesn't do a full fix. Had multiple Play store errors. Ended up redoing the whole thing.

The application manager will open, but as soon as I start scrolling I get a message that the application manager has stopped working and get kicked back to the home screen. I've tried powering down and restarting, and I uninstalled the last few apps I'd added in case one of them had anything to do with it, but I really need to change some app settings and I can't access them. I don't know how long it's been doing this because I don't access the application manager very often.

You may try factory reset or flash stock kdz again.
okay so, it's clear that im just bad at things.
first, i accidentally re-mapped my homebutton to whatever it is now.
then i removed my root thinking it would fix it.
and then i realized that i had lost my home button and root.
since my home button doesen't work. i can't go into boot mode to use odin3 or other application with a computer.
and now, more recently, i "accidentally" (as a test of boredom) i installed a extracted APK of the "Android System" application, and this caused many issues.
now my "Andriod System" app counts as a downloaded app,
and since i'm not very smart with things like this, i'm not sure if that is the reason why both "App Info" & "Package Installer" always crash when launched now.
i have no idea if either of these two issues are fix-able since they're both internal, and i physically can't root or delete the "Andriod System" app, or else my Android will be good as garbadge.
i really have hit rock bottom
So I used the debloat thread to get rid of a lot of things (uninstalling stuff through adb shell). Only problem is I got an error randomly/occasionally that said "Galaxy apps has stopped..." and required me to press a button to get rid of the message. Things were fine so I lived with it, but recently I decided to try and uninstall some more stuff and hopefully get that message to go away.
Now my phone shows my background and says "Android is starting...". It just sits there with a loading bar moving.
I can swipe down the top of the screen and go into settings, then apps, and I can access all my apps, then view on Google Play store.. so I am able to open all my apps just fine, with a bunch of extra steps to get them open. I tested the alarm clock so I can wake up in the morning and it works fine also.
I tried booting into safe mode. I understand I may need to do a factory reset, but I was hoping to avoid going through that.
Any suggestions?
To add insult to injury as I sit here typing this the "Galaxy Apps has stopped" message popped up again! I wasn't even touching my phone lol.
Well, I figured that out.. I must have removed whatever Samsung uses as a launcher. I downloaded another launcher and instantly the "Android is starting" message went away.
Any way to get Samsung's launcher back? I kind of started to like it.. or is there another one you recommend I try?
