OnePlus X E1001 ROMS? - OnePlus X Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Are there any AOSP ROMs that support the chinese variant E1001 ?

Just send fastboot -p E1003 because they seem to have the same hardware. Worked for me, OxygenOS now. Also, My E1001 had NO device string at all, so ROMs kept complaining "Supported device types are One, E1003, x. Yours is ."

I'm using Mokee rom (http://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-x/development/mokee-opensource-mkl-t3275212) without problems on my E1001 in EU
fastboot -p E1003 changes device model to E1003 yes? (only the displayed model I think )

I flashed most of the ROMs here from the forums and all worked well so far

Asia one x+ custom rom

Hii I would like to ask..as far I read from the custom rom thread.the base is from 1.17.404..European model international hox+...mine is Asian version 1.17.707.1 is it compatible. Or I have to get custom Rom base on my region...which is none so far...

For custom ROMs it's only important to know whether you have the AT&T or the International model. And I really think you have the International model.
The exact region, and/or CID and software number (e.g. x.xx.707.x for you) of your Phone is just important for official HTC Updates or RUUs.
So just use any custom ROM you want for the International model.
Will the radio works? Is the langguage complete...thx for the reply

yes, radio will work.
Its just the International software x.xx.401.x that is used for the custom ROMs, Radio can't be changed/stays the same after your ROM flashed since nearly no one has S-OFF at his device.
And I think all ROMs here are multilingual ones, so you can choose the language you want at first bootup with your new custom ROM

Difference btw leeco lemax 2 x820,x821, x822 etc

Iam confused, in my mobile about section model number is written as Le X821, iam from india, what is the difference between different model numbers. In the 17s zip file it is written as X820. Can i fash it to my LeEco Lemax 2 (model number X821)
Thanks for answering
one more query, i received my LeEco Lemax 2 yesterday itself, but unable to register fingerprints. mobile is not accepting any input in fingerprint setup page. I already requested a replacement request. though i want to know whether it is a firmware problem or fingerprint sensor problem. youtube link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qIFSvz9qSU4
thank you.
1st query got aswer
I got the answer for my first query here
But still my fingerprint not working, anybody facing this issue please give me a solution
I really cant understand why the x822 is 3$ cheaper than the x820 on aliexpress?!!
I am still reluctant to buy the phone due to the "very popular" fingerprint sensor issues!
My new phone also has fp sensor issue. Requested a replacement.

Sim card detected only in 2G after changing country model PLK-AL10 -> PLK-L01

Hi ,
I have an Honor 7 PLK-AL10 ( chinese version ).
I decided to flash a custom rom to remove all the chinese apps ans parameters..
So i find the huawei multitool and succeded to change the model from PLK-AL10 to PLK-L01. So next i tried to flash the custom rom "Yoda".
This worked fine but there is a pertty big problem .. ^^"
My sim card is only detected in "2G mode".
There is two emplacements for sim card in the phone, so i can choose the emplacement wich will use 3g/4g network, and the other will only have 2g network.
So the only way i find is to put the emplacement of the card sim in 2g mode so the card is recognize. But not in "3g/4g" mode
Any ideas ?
I tried to flash a stock rom but i'm not sure how to do that.
I put the update.app in the right dload folder, restart the phone with volume +/volume -/power buttons, i saw the installation began but it stuck at 5% during 1 hour ..
I will try with an other stock rom, any suggestions of a stock rom version to use ?
Sorry for my english, i hope you will understand me !
Thanks
Valnuro
You can report the problem to the Rom maintainer.
Yoda rom is for honor 7 PLK-L01 and not for PLK-AL10, even if you modify your model name to PLK-L01 the rom is not gonna work like it should be because component in the chinese version of the honor 7 are not the same than the ones in the eu version.
In the yoda rom specifications section :
Base ROM: MM 6.0 PLK-L01C432B370

So that explains why.

Is it ok to switch from KIW-L24 to KIW-L22

I currently have Honor 5X KIW-L24. But I have gifted this to my father who lives in India. There are couple of issues with the phone which makes me think that I need to just do factory reset, but there is also one more issue.
Seems like he is not able to use Reliance Jio 4g network on his phone. So I wondered if this is because of differnet firmware - L24 (which the phone is currently on) versus L22 (which seems to be the one that Indian versions have). There was also recent firmware updates for L22 especially Indian version; while there is none for L24.
So I know that I can do the "Local Update" method by downloading L22 zip file. But I have couple of questions,
1. Is it even possible going from one firmware version to another?
2. Is it ok to switch to L22 from L24?
3. Should I be instead thinking of using some custom ROM (any recommendations if this is the case)?
Custom ROMs doesn't support volte as of now.
You can not flash the zip directly but you need to for complete debranding with oeminfo and custom.bin of L22.
That could be the reason why it won't work, and U don't that rebranding it will fix the issue

Question Best rom for Oneplus 9r ( chinese , global or European ) ?

Hey guys ,
I recently bought the OP9R Chinese variant ( still being shipped) .
Originally I though it might not be a problem to use it with the chinese OS , but a relative of mine who have the OP8T chinese version had a many complaints to say about the chinese os and how buggy it is .
so , I thought to myself the first thing I should do after receiving the phone to flash either the global or the European rom.
what do you guys think I should do ? and which among these three OSs should I flash if any ?
