now today i been looking at some of this : http://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-x/development/rom-cyanogenmod-12-1-oneplus-x-t3254072
now i see that looks awesome and i am think about it after unlocking my bootloader and flashing it will there be a way to flash back stock and relock the bootloader
Like: adb oem lock
this seems nice but since this is claimed as stable i seem interested but my Questions are:
What does it mean In-Call
I am guessing it is when someone calls you but recording it wont be a issue for me but in-call volume not reducing ??? what does that mean ?
In-call volume not reducing
In-call recording

this is the topic created especially for it, some time ago, no need for you to create another.
cheers!
It just means that you can't reduce the sound of your speakers while you are on your call i.e the volume will always be maxed up while you are talking over phone to someone

Maybe I'm crazy, but my x10 in-call volume is just fine (and I've got a slight hearing loss!). I've played with some kernels and seen some performance increases, looked at even more, but they all have had the "fix" for increasing in-call volume.
Can anyone recommend kernels for unlocked BL, stock rom, without the in-call volume increase? I have been using TEAM rom and really like it.
I have used TEAM v3 ThKernel and really liked it too (on TEAM ROM of course) except I need to have the phone call part be good for me even if I don't use it often . I tried several DoomKernels but they not only had the raised in-call volume issue but also seemed sluggish when loading/coming back to home (even after days).
Or if there's a fairly easy way to reverse the in-call volume increase, I'd be willing to give that a shot too.
Thanks in advance!
Am I really the only x10 owner out there that doesn't want blasting loud to the point of distortion in-call volume? Seriously. The in-call volume is fine and I don't need it to sound like a quiet distorted speaker phone.
There's lots of nifty kernels out there: Doom, Th, etc... I've tried and enjoyed some and everything but the phone function itself is great but I still need functional phone calls! (... it IS a phone after all). I'd love to be able to use kernels without having to have distorted loud sound on the in-call volume but I've yet to find one. Please if anyone knows of a kernel that doesn't mess up the in-call volume.... PLEASE let me know about it.
Thanks in advance.
Phone info: Unlocked BL, TEAM 3.9 ROM, Go Launcher Ex (not that I think this all matters cause it's been the same with every kernel/ROM even before I unlocked BL and tried various ROMS)... but that's been my setup for a few weeks now.
Hi,
i have one question before i return my phone.
Android in general is quite useless for serios music listening and so on because you need to root your phone to unleash the real audio potential or install 3rd party apps to controll the volume.
So far so bad. If you install fine volume control you're able to adjust volume in 1% steps. Besides the ugly interface it doesn't affect the call volume on the earpiece.
Every Android except Galaxy Ace with Android 2.3.5 is way too loud on the lowest volume regarding phone calls. The minimum volume for phone calls on the HTC One X+ is 20% as media could be turned down one more or two steps.
Why on earth is the in-call volume not better manageable?

This was brought up in your previous thread. There was no reason to post it a second time. I believe the consensus there was install another ROM or return the phone.
Hy, I have very annoying problem. When I call someone the in-call sound is on max and when I try to reduce it it says that's already on minimum so I have to push volume up until animation says it's maximum and then volume down and then in-call sound volume goes down. Each call is the same. When somebody calls me then it's all ok.
It's just me or..? Does someone knows how to repair this?
HTC evo 3D
Johnnyslt's CM10.1 ROM v.:10.1-20130430
Baseband version: 11.77.3504.00U_11.25.3504.06_M
I dont have a fix for this but I want to warn you that prolonged loud sound on earpiece can damage it. My own earpiece got fried cause of this and now i have to use earphones to attend a call.

I have the same problem and i think is general for CM10-10.1 based ROMs. I hope devs will fix it soon cause this bug is about health.
I have asked this question in some of the individual ROM forums but never got a good answer. So starting a new Q&A thread.
How in the world can I bump up the in-call volumes on AOSP android 4.3 roms? I am talking only in-call headset volume.
Music volume is fine, In-call speaker volume is also fine (4.3 roms) - Just cannot get the in-call headset volume bumped up.
Tried using Devil kernel with Devil app - but I do not understand what values/parameters to bump up
This is pretty much the only issue I always flash back to TW roms. Anyone got any advise/suggestions?

What do you have your phone set to use. DSP Manager or something else. You can edit the individual volumes in most of the sound managers.

Hey, i have a problem with Z2 that the incall volume is too low or inaudible... i don't know why is this??
I'm using Existenz Marshmallow 2.0 latest without any modifications.. so is there is any tweak or flashable zip or anything that increase the incall volume and make it clear?????
Another problem that alot of people had told me that they cannot hear my voice clearly so what is the problem?? is there is anything to improve my mic.??
Notes: (A) The problems still appear in the two cases of each of that:
1- Checking or Unchecking for Microphone noise suppression.
2- Checking or Unchecking for Speaker voice enhancement.
(B) The problem of incall volume and mic. not a hardware problem because it appear in some roms and it be solved completely in other roms like Existenz v1.0.5 4.4 [KK] so it's a software problem
So is there is any solution for incall volume and Mic. ?? Please help!!!!!
Under sound settings turn mic gain to high. Might help.
