Google Play Services don't work CM 13 - LG G2 Mini

Today i flash the nightly version and the open gapps stock package and it says that I have to update the Google Play Services, and the Play Store is missing. D618, TWRP 2.8.7.0 PD: I already tried reflashing and sorry for bad english.

Maybe you have downloaded thw wrong version of Open GApps (Version: 6.0.1, 32 bit)

Download specifically:
Platform: ARM
Android: 6.0
Variant: Stock.

I solved this flashing the 29-12-15 Build of CM13. Camera recording (front and rear) still don't work with Google Camera.

Unable to open & use Google play services on my rooted (CM 12 instld) LG Optimus E970
Why am i unable to open and use Google play services (play store, play games) on my LG Optimus E970? I search all over the Internet to find a solution, but to no avail. Does the problem have to do with an error in the installation/flashing process of Cynanogenmod 12 (nightly) on my device? if so, how can i correct it? Also, Playstore (or other affiliated services) was not installed after the flash.

I don't think Cyanagenmod for the LG Optimus G E970 is being routinely updated anymore. There are other ROMS that are worth looking at, which are listed below that I have personally used and have had no issues with. The first one is Android 5.1.1 Lollipop based and the second one is Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow based.

The recovery I am using is Philz Touch 6.57.9 Clockworkmod v6.0.5.1
Thank you Kilogrm form your earnest reply. I guess would have to go with Android 5.1.1. I check the link but only saw a link to the ROM file. Can you please provide a link for the gapps file, thank you.

I see you already got your answer from the lollipop thread. I'm sure you know that if you are using Android 5.1.1 that you would use the gapps for 5.1 on the gapps page and not 6.0, which is for Android 6.

Version of Google Play Services?

Not sure what I did but Play Services is gone. Did a Google of Play Services APK and all I could find was APK Mirror but there are so many variants and I have no clue which one to pick. I have an S5. of course running 6.0.1
Not sure if I read wrong info, but one site said you can run a nodpi version regardless, so I downloaded all 4 nodpi versions for 6.0+ but after install they all keep crashing. I'm trying to avoid a wipe and reinstall if anyone can point me in the right direction.
The model is SM-G900T with 6.0.1, right?
You need version: 10.0.84 (438-137749526)
4 - for Android 5.0 and 5.1 before Play Services v8, Android >= 6.0 after
3 - for armeabi-v7a CPU architecture
8 - for 480 dpi
Or 430, the nodpi.

Yes 6.0.1 - I tried both files and no joy, so something else must be broke... but I appreciate the help. Guess I have to do a reinstall. Really wish there was software that could for example... take an image of your entire phone once it's debloated and running well... then make it into a rom. All this having to jump through hoops to reinstall... update... root... debloat... etc etc = Tiring.

Upgrading CM9.1 on my i9100

Hi all,
Its time to upgrade Android 4.0.4 to a newer version.
Whats-app isn't working anymore and some other apps.
I would like to run it smoothly with all functions working correctly, especially GPS. So the latest android isn't needed i think.
I am thinking of CM12.1 (5.1) to start with. I know i have to resize my system partition and flash a compatible recovery.
But i can't find a step by step guide as this is a pretty old version. I hope someone can point me in the right direction.
thanks
As far as I remember, you don't have to repartition until Android 6.
Also, Android 5 ROMs are quite outdated, and might contain several security vulnerabilities. I would recommend going for LineageOS 11 ROM (Android 4.4.4) by grzwolf here on XDA. It contains latest Android Security Patches. Here's a KitKat compatible recovery: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=79196916&postcount=230

Thanks for your advice. I should get this working.
However I see Gapps from 2016 have to be used. Will GMaps and the Play store update themselves to a new version after installation or will i get stuck with the old ones?

It seems like you need to flash ROM, boot into it, then reboot to recovery and flash latest OpenGApps, reboot again and then you should be able to sign in to the play store:
