I was just messing around on my s4 when I decided to make a flashfire backup as I tend to mess things up when I just "mess around". I looked at the backup and found a few files with twrp in their name. As I'm not really experienced in this area of things I was just wondering if someone could tell me why those files are there. Thanks in advance!

I was wondering the same thing. I've been on FlashFire and NK4 base since LP came out for the Vzw s4...

I've seen post after post from people saying they're bootlooped, or softbricked and omgwtfbbq!
make a nandroid backup. the tool is there in every recovery and is the most important thing to do after you've unlocked the bootloader.
Please.
and thank you.
Seriously do it now.

Most, if not all Developers tell people to make a Nandroid backup. If people screw up their phone and did not make a backup, then thats their problem and will not be helped. They have already been warned to do so... and that is why we dont need a separate thread to do so.
It's probably because you are on build ME7.
There are at least a hundred people who asked the same question, so i will guide you all in the right path

I've had my S4 for 2 years now and not once have I ever ODIN back to stock and re-rooted. I'm thinking of doing this only because I have flashed so many ROMs that I feel like a ODIN might clean up some left over files. My question is, will this help at all? I know doing a full wipe clears the sdcard and other things, but what about the root folder? See picture attached.
