I just bought a Viewsonic Gtablet. I was stupid and for some reason i thought i needed to downgrade from 1.2 firmware to 1.1 firmware (it was a old post) Well I replaced the updated.zip file then went into recovery mode and installed the update.zip using the internal memory. After that it turned off and now will not turn back on or go into recovery mode!
Things I've tried:
When i tried NVFlash my computer did not recognize that it was in apx mode, but instead said it was a unknown device so when i tried to install the apx driver It said "the wizard could not find a better match for your hardware other than the software you currently have installed"
2nd thing i tried was this that i read from a forum.
Download the above mentioned restore file.
Insert the SD card into the card reader and access it using your computer.
If the SD card has any important data, save it to the computer.
Format the SD card.
Unzip the downloaded file and extract the ‘Recovery’ folder and ‘update.zip’ file to the root of your SD card.
Power off your device.
Press and hold the Volume Up button, then press and hold the Power button. You should see the ViewSonic boot image logo and the text ‘Detected Recovery Image’ on your tablet’s screen.
Let the installation take place automatically. The device will reboot after completion. This did not work at all.
Please help idk what to do!
So I experimented in the Recovery Menu Semaphore and managed to shut down my internet and external SD card which you will not boot or system, or do not connect the PC which I can not do Flasch Odin and over again I should just not okay it.
Is there any possibility to recover it using a memory card even if it now sees the phone or turn off?
Somehow as exe file reinstall recovery from SD card?
Thank you so much for the advice
OK the system folder was deleted on the Impression 10. It boots but gets hung on the "Impression" logo. I hook it up to the computer, the computer recognzes it but I cannot access the files on both the SD Card nor the internal memory. Android Commander and ADB cannot access it. I have the stock system image file from leader, I also backed-up my system folder. Any ideas on how I can push the files from the computer to the tablet or is it too far gone?

Can you acess cwm?
If not, I'm sure, your device has a download mode, then you can enter the mode, conndct to a computer and flash the whole firmware again via a flashtool or anything else.

Hi
Anyone know where I can download the title file?
My cousin's tablet is stuck in some infinite loop on the PrestigioWizard. After the Wi-Fi screen it keeps returning back to Welcome screen after displaying "Unfortunately, PrestigioWizard has stopped." message.
I manage to get into settings through system tray and tried both "Factory data reset" and "Recovery Mode" to no vail. The image from Prestigio website doesn't help either. The cool utility, PhoenixCard Tool included in there requires I burn the image from a PC with a single slot card reader. Not sure where to get a PC like that in this moment in history. Although I manage to burn this image on the micro SD card from Linux using the dd command, the tablet gives the "Damaged SD card" message when I try to boot from it, but it can mount the same SD card after I re-format it back to FAT32.
ADB can install applications onto the tablet and they get listed in the Apps section in Settings but there is no way to run them from the tablet because Prestigio Wizard is in front of the launcher.
So, I believe a *.zip ROM will help by flashing it from recovery mode and any link(s) will be highly appreciated.
