Hi!
I have a problem when I play videos on Netflix. In the dark areas, especially on the camera side, some pixels start to flickering and change color.
I don't know if this is a software or hardware problem.
My build is ONE E1003_15_151130 .
Thank you for your help!

I have the same issue. This happens for me when the camera side is on the left in landscape mode, and goes away when I physically flip the phone and make the camera side on the right.
Same issue

I have noticed a line through my SAmoled display in camera use. point camera into dark area then look at screen area level with the bottom of volume rocker. Does anyone else see a line right through screen horizontally? Now i see it in all screens and apps :-(
To show what i mean i must take a photo with another camera.

Sounds like software bug , if It's only in camera mod .
Unfortunately I dont think it is software, its very feint but its there. I see it even in lock screen but it is very hard to see.

Ok I see . Maybe It's some pixels that's got stuck u can try some of pixels repair apps on the marked .
Yes, mine has a similar fault. It's faint so very difficult to get a photo of it.
*#0*# into your keypad and run the RGB tests.
Mine is a row of dead red pixels. I'm waiting on O2 to send out an exchange.
I had the same issue, seems to be an issue with the screen. I swapped mine out at Phones4U.
Is driving me absolutely nuts. Anyone else?

I'm assuming it's the red-ish glow in the center? That's the only thing I notice other than my topic listed right by the mouse cursor...

Ahhhh...gotcha. I went back and looked at it again and noticed it this time. I just got my GS2 and it's still charging, but I'll take some pics when I turn it on and post back with the results.
Is this on all pictures you take?
Here's a picture I just took...

That's not as bad, but my Infuse had zero issues, same with my iPhone 3GS.
The lighting is pretty bad in this room as well, so that explains the difference between my photo and yours.
Edit: @SPIDERTECH: It seems to be on ALL photos in crappy lighting. Can't notice it during the day while outside.
Just googled the issue and there are tons of documented cases and complaints out there Seems to be an issue with the hardware.
Take a picture of something that isn't viewing-angle-dependent before claiming there's an issue please.
My first instinct is that the camera is somewhat IR-sensitive (this is EXTREMELY common in cell phone cameras due to lack of space for a hot mirror filter) and the screens being imaged have higher IR content when viewed dead-on. (In both pictures, the red spot appears where the camera is viewing the screen dead-on. In the first picture the camera was centered in front of the screen, in the second the camera was at the lower right aimed up and left.)

That explains a lot.....So it's not a hardware fault? Just a limitation?
Mine done the red thing with taking a pic of my screen but here is a pic I took outside

I'll take a further look at it tonight, but IR sensitivity is not exactly rare in digital cameras, especially cheaper/smaller ones. Good hot mirrors (IR-blocking filters) cost money AND they're large.
Yeah I have the same problem, I took pictures of the tile floor at my parents house, and it had a red center to it also, is their a way to fix this?
Also for the love of god, why does this video camera not have image stabilization? every video is shaky as hell.

I did. Updated the phone and now the result is even worse and blurry all over the screen. As you can see on the lightly blurry picture on the left side it's sharp and towards the right side more mushy. Now the it's all blurry even more.

its probably the focusing calibration, or worse; hardware. Between those two
Maybe there is something on the lens, like foil or dirt, try to clean the lens....

Hi, i just received my 9s. Luckily it didnt have screen bleeding but upon checking closely i noticed some shadow around the punchhole more prominently on the bottom. Its quite noticeable on a certain angle and in white background. Do you guys have it too? Pls state your lcd manufacturer too if you dont mind. I have tianma display if that helps. Thank you
Update: so i went to an Xiaomi outlet. I compared my 9s to the display unit 9s, the display unit doesnt have shadows around the notch and edge. The colors are very even, its near perfect. I did check the lcd manufacturer, its huaxing.
Yes, i have it too. The shadow is there. I usually use dark/black themes and this helps a lot because that shadow is not visible anymore. Also my panel is without screen bleeding too. Cheers!
I have a tianma display too and yes the shadow is quite visible on the camera punch hole but no bleading issues on the side screen. I think the bleeding issues is visible on huaxing display only.

such a shame. this phone is nearly perfect but with the price i have no right to complain.
Hey, I too have the same issue in my phone around the punch hole and at the bottom. Is it reason enough to replace or is it normal on this Phone?

If its possible, you can go to your local xiaomi store and check their 9s display unit if it is has the same issue as we do. I myself cant do it because my city is in lockdown again. Let me know too

Well got the replacement and it too has the same issues. I guess that's some cost cutting measure by Xiaomi. I wanted to ask you a different question. I found a glitch where when you rotate your screen to the left side there's a short black glitch for 0.5 sec. I've attached a ss. See if you have this issue?
Thanks

sorry i already sold my device but i did not encounter that rotate issue as far as i remember but i do think its just a software bug.
My new S23 ultra has a slight red tint in the middle, I think it moves a bit if I rotate the phone. Could this be fixed with a firmware update? Changing the color settings doesn't help. I don't always notice it so I'm on the fence on whether to send it back and have no phone anymore..
It's pretty much a display lottery and you won't be able to fix it via software.
Is it a viewing angle issue (e.g. if you move the phone far away you do not see the tint)?

I think it does look a little better when I move it further away? I'm not sure. I notice it the most when I'm in bed and the longer I look at it the redder it seems lol. When I look at my phone from the side the whole screen just has a blue/green tint instead. During the day I'm okay with it I think, I usually don't notice it too much.
I fixed the post sorry, this site is horrible on my phone..
