Hi,
I hope someone will help me regarding this matter.
I'd like to bypass my girlfriend's phone. She just bought an ASUS phone recently and it has a built-in CM Applock. She locked everything of her social accounts and I am really frustrated and I sometimes can't sleep at night thinking why she has to keep everything in private. I am sending this message so as to know how to bypass it. Even her Playstore is locked.
I hope you guys will help me solve this problem. Please... T.T
Thanks so much.
Sound like you need a little bit of "respect someone else's privacy"

Have you considered relationship counselling?

if bro the settings app is not locked then go in settings apps, open cm applock and force stop it.
Yeah sure there's an app called "trust violator". I think it's by the same people that make "how to quickly become single"

Hello all,
Today I have discovered that I cannot upload videos to youtube anymore because there is a login problem with it. From what I have seen this comes from the HTC Sense Account Manager Login that fails to login this.
Anyone having any ideas of why this is happening? Everyone having the same problem or is it working for someone?
Thank you very much in advance for your help.
Same Problem here. Artemis ROM
I discovered the same problem. Stock TMOUS ROM.
Sent from my HTC HD2 using XDA Windows Phone 7 App
That's got something to do with the link between youtube and google accounts.
But, you don't have to enter youtube login data on your HD2 for uploading a video.
- login to youtube.com
- goto Account Settings
- goto Mobile Setup
- there you will see an email address
- send your video from your HD2 as attachment to that email address
That's it.
Have also a look on this tutorial or this site: http://www.youtube.com/mobile.
Yes indeed this is a solution as well...I was just thinking if it would be possible to solve this issue and make it work as it was before. But yes indeed the solution you have proposed should work perfectly with an email account on the device.
Thank you very much for the help.

This is definitely not the first and maybe not the last thread on that topic.
There is no fix and got nothing to do with Sense.
Haven't you seen my answer two posts above yours and how YouTube/Google wants videos to be uploaded/shared from mobile devices?
Again: have a look here: http://www.youtube.com/mobile
I had heard of this problem before, and it happened to me once. The solution for me was to connect over cell network only (disable wifi). Then I was able to connect.
Or maybe it was the other way around (disable phone and try wifi only), but I'm pretty sure I had to disable my wifi, then it worked.
Anyway, try it.

Hi, as one of my friends phone was about to get stolen when we were out in town a few days ago, I wanted some tracking and anti-theft software on my GS2. I found out how the pre-installed software from Samsung works (go to http://www.samsungdive.com/DiveMain.do and register your phone, and then enable tracking under the phone's security settings). But it is a very poor anti-theft solution if you ask me, even thou it works just as well as any solution on the market. First of all, if GPS is disabled and you try to track your phone using the Samsung website, it will ask you "do you want to enable GPS?"..that's just plain stupid and I don't see why it can't force it to start. Second of all, if my phone got stolen I would expect it to get reset to factory settings at some point. In order to avoid this, the phone should ask for the same pincode it ask for when you enable/disable tracking. That way it should always be possible to find the phone if it ever got stolen. I figured it was a simple yet good idea and wanted to feature request it for Android, but I couldn't find any information on where you can do so. Do any of you guys know? Or do any of you developers talk to the Android developers or do they roam in a certain part of the XDA forum?

Please try to contact Samsung/Google via the official contact/support email addresses first.
As they are using help desk systems, each email to those addresses become documented as a request or ticket and will be worked through in some way.
Every other contact (via personal network or a free/internet forum) is "in-official" and could lead into a loss of your input.
Good luck !

It doesn't on my phone. It remotely turns on GPS automatically with no prompt on the phone.
The GMail-App on my Xoom and my Nexus S (both with Android 4.0.3) is driving me crazy. In former times I could easily report mails as no spam.
That doesn't work anymore. Instead I guess it should be possible to mark the mails and label them as "Inbox". But that doesn't work, either. With some luck, it works with 1 or 2 mails, but the rest stays in SPAM, even though at first they disappear from the spam-folder.
Isn't there a way to do that? Why is there no real option to mark the mails as no spam?
Regards
McDV
Hi McDV,
I just upgraded to ICS and I am running into the same issue.
Given how few responses have been given, I think I'm missing something very obvious.
Did you manage to solve it already, and if so, how?
Thanks,
Charles

Hello guys, thanks in advance for the help.
So,the thing is this:I installed facebook app on my new galaxy 2 (android version 4 something, icecream sandwitch I bellieve it is).
Soon enough,I see that people one after another keeps adding me as friends when I didn't send them no friend request. It was really weird, and I only understood that those are folks from my phone book after the fifth person who accepted my friend request.
Naturally,I really don't want the app to do that, who the hell wants their folks in their facebook? Moreover,I have people there which I really have no desire to have on my facebook.
Is there any way to stop this madness,or at least have a choice whom to add and whom don't?

Personally, I dont use facebook app on my phone, because it's crap.
However, try to disable, facebook contact sync in the app settings. that should fix the problem
hi,
I'm new to this forum, and a new happy user of CM12 on my galaxy S2. This is great stuff guys...
I have spent quite a few hours now searching the way to solve my issue, which actually seems pretty easy to fix, but can't find how...
on CM11, my stock browser allowed me to change my UserAgentString.
on CM12 there is no option for this. I tried using "about:debug" to see if menu will change, but.. no, it will not.
so I am stuck on this.
any help will be much appreciated
thanks
Ciao
